One thing I've noticed both times dining in is that tables around me were being cleaned with strong products while I was still eating, sometimes very close by. The fumes can be a bit overwhelming and take away from the experience. I completely understand the importance of keeping everything clean, and I appreciate that -- just hoping there might be a way to time it or adjust it so it's a bit more comfortable for guests who are still eating. Either way, I'll definitely continue coming back because the food is that good. Just wanted to share this in case it helps improve the dine-in experience.

So when I came back to Detroit visiting goodburger was first on the list and highly prioritized. Entered the restaurant, looked better and improved. Went to the counter, was greeted by the cashier, ordered burgers for my and my partner. Instead of fresh fountain I was given a can of diet soda even though their refills used to be free, didn't mind, sat down and started waiting for my food, the person who brought my food literally placed the tray on my table, mumbled few words in the mouth and left, no "enjoy the food" or "let me know if you need anything elsel". Mind you I paid 35 bucks for 2 burgers with 1 side of fries. I was not at the drive through of Mcdonalds. Anyways all of these things can be ignored if the food was upto the standard. The chicken piece inside the burger was over cooked, fries in the burger, pale and no flavor, bacon, smaller then a french fry, store bought cheese like it was slapped on top with zero love. I asked for mayo and it felt like they ran out of mayo and just took the last scoop and smacked it on my burger, kept looking for mayo, couldn't find it. The side of french fries was good. No sauces on the burger either. I am highly disappointed and I hope the management reads this and fixes these issues, as I would love to stay a regular customer and change my review back to 5 star. We ordered salad, falafels, lentil soup, French fries, rice, chicken, and hummus. The falafel was different from the usual falafel you get elsewhere, It was much softer and had such a delicious, moist texture, now.... they cook the best lentil soup I've ever had in my life!! French fries were cooked perfectly. The chicken breast was also really GOOD!! My husband ordered a full portion of chicken, and he was blown away by how flavorful and tender it was. And the hummus is an absolute MUST. I LOOOVE IT!!!! We ordered way too much because everything looked so good, and at some point we literally had to tell ourselves, "Okay, we need to stop eating."
