Their delivery is crazy fast. If I didn't know better, I would say they teleported to my address. They always arrive within 20 minutes of ordering, and with DC traffic, that's nothing short of miraculous. The food is good, and they have a vast range of it. Almost everything is deep fried, including things I would have never dreamed of. The only thing is, deep fried food does not keep well, especially in a closed styrofoam container for 15 minutes. This review is for delivery only, from Eat24.com I love wings. But they're so hit or miss sometimes. But I like wings so much that sometimes I'll order pizza just to get a side of wings. (Or yes, straight up order only wings.) Wingos makes good wings. Everything I've tried so far has been pretty great. Even the few saucy ones have been much better than expected. (I tend to prefer dry rub kind of flavors.) The seasoned fries are pretty solid, and my friends have liked the fried ravioli. Usually I don't give 5 stars but I decided to bump it up a notch because I ordered their onion rings this time too. Might have been the best onion rings I'd ever had. Something about the way they were made, the onion inside (which is nice 'n fleshy) was had been cooked just enough so that they were a little sweet. The batter is thick enough to not fall apart and hold shape, but not so much that you feel like you have to check inside to see if there really is onion inside. I love junk food! And I find the prices very fair, considering how much I feel like I've paid for far worse wings. And through Eat24.com there's almost always some discount going on. read more

This little wing joint is great! From the customer service to the generous serving of avocado on my burger, I give this place two thumbs up (or the yelp equivalent with 5 stars)! The tiny ordering area could cause some to stress, but the laid back attendant made you feel taken care of and calm. Despite being tucked away off of Wisconsin and M streets this place has clearly built a positive reputation based on the stream of customers (and delivery orders) coming and going. My family of 5 is in DC for a vacation. We get back to the hotel burned out from a day of sightseeing wig a hungry toddler, 4 year old, 10 year old and my wife and I. The hotel gives us some menus and we decide on Wingos. Order their original cheeseburger, a Cobb salad, some chili, and hot dogs and a grilled cheese for the kids. Food came quick, was still hot, had utensils, and OMG was everything good. Granted, most places can whip of some dogs and a grilled cheese on wheat, but these were really good. And the chili is a recipe I want to take home. Burger was fantastic and the salad was as good as I've had for three times the price. Will definitely be ordering again while we are in town and want them to open a franchise back home in Florida. Hotel room delivery just was icing on the cake. read more

Just ordered here on seamless and damn these wings are good. I got the bourbon, the old bay and the medium. Bourbon is good and saucy. Old bay was dry rub and I LOVE dry rub wings and bbq so that was awesome. The medium wings were good too. I like spicy but not burn your mouth off spicy. I never use hot sauce but love red pepper flakes and etc (trying to give a gauge of my spice tolerance) and the mediums are good but not spicy. I'd likely go hot next time. The mozzarella sticks are good too. I hate when you get them and bite in and juice leaks out. These are dry and good quality. I'd say if you want good bar fare and wings for football and etc. this place is very good. On individual quality of wings, there's two places I like more but neither are in dc. It was my second attempt at giving Wingos a chance to win me over, but I was disappointed once again. This time the chicken tenders were so dry that I was afraid I was going to break a tooth! To make matters worse, they forgot to put my sauces into my bag so I was left with no way to moisten the dry meat. Seriously, these are the type of wings that you'd find in any bar or pizzeria in Buffalo (yes, every pizzeria in Buffalo also sells wings). Just simple, tasty wings. I am a wing genius and when my coworker told me about this place I was excited to try but noooooo! I ordered the old bay wings and they were so over cooked i thought I would break a tooth. Both my last two orders from Wingo's were disappointing. Once having received someone else's food and having to swap with the driver for my own, I ended up with food that was completely cold. With my order that's still sitting in front of me, I received a tasteless burger and fries with a thick layer of old bay on them, ruining them with way too much of a good spice. Wingo's can produce some decent food, but lately the chef doesn't seem to care about the food he's producing. My expectations were low for a $3 side salad from a wing place but it was fresh and delicious. My husband declared the boneless wings to the the best he's had, and the bone-in were tasty, too. Oh, and the mashed potatoes? No need for gravy (which is good because the mashed-potato-to-gravy ratio was comical) - these things were addictive! A wonderful sausage was prepared on a potato roll with aesthetic fixings. Red onions neatly chopped. And it was delicious and filling!
