Chili cheese omelet + hash browns
    Ai M.

Eggs with corned beef hash comes with dry toast. Hot coffee gets free refills and they will even pour some into your hot chocolate if you want to make it a mocha. Hotcakes are heavy compared to the fluffy French toast. The side of hash browns needs more frying time, perhaps they are understaffed. The veggie omelette has quality ingredients, but is under-seasoned (add salt to taste).

First time coming here. Went on a sunday, surprisingly it wasn't too busy we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It took a long time to order and get our bill. Our food came fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool spot especially for kids or airplane fanatics.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Im dropping a star because my fries were old and soggy. I could hardly eat them. The pastrami sandwich wasn't to bad though. Service was a little slow but I was with nice company so I didn't mind. I think I'll get chips instead of fries next .

Been wanting to try wings cafe at Fullerton airport for years now, today is the day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool location on Fullerton airport close to some aircraft tie downs and not far from the runway. All glass facing the airport makes for great viewing of the activities on the field[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fantastic decor with tables made up of inverted wing sections topped with glass, lots of memorabilia including aircraft models, propellers, a mannequin dressed in a flight suit, and other knick-knacks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seated at a table with menus to peruse. Server came back and took our drink order. Returned with our drinks and took our food orders. Food was good and came out quickly. We enjoyed the orders. Biscuit and Gravy was great, I'm picky about biscuits and gravy and most fail to impress me but this one was solid. The French toast was also very good. Bacon was crisp and flavorful. While reading about the restaurant I saw that the owners of wings cafe also own the galley on harbor island drive in Newport Beach which is another favorite of mine. I'm already looking forward to my next dining experience at wings cafe

Wait was 30mins or so on a Sunday afternoon. Put your name on a list. When they have the planes on display it's easy to kill time waiting. The kids had alot of fun watching planes take off. Cute control panel in the booth. Kids meals were a good size. Pancakes were decent. The chili was ok but could be better. Fries also could have been better and my kids didn't eat much. I would come back and order more breakfast options next time. Fun place for the kids. Plenty of parking.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The cafe itself is smaller than I thought but our family enjoyed the experience, the view, and the food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The hash browns were nice and crisp, and pancakes were buttery soft. The omelet was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The sandwiches were mediocre and the coleslaw was made with too much mayo. Service could have been better in that they were slow to serve and we had to remind them a few times of some of our orders.

I've gone to several of the regional airport cafes. This location is the best! The wall is all windows and it's directly on the runway which adds to the experience seeing planes land and takeoff while eating. The parking is easy and plentiful. This place was hopping on a Friday morning. That was nice to see. The service was great. Greeted with a warm, friendly smile. The servers were attentive, prompt and courteous. The portions large and very reasonable. The food was delicious. I had biscuit and gravy and a meat lover's omelette. Oh my!! Very flavorful. And filling!! The lobby has plenty of pictures with history of the airport as well as memorabilia throughout the restaurant. This place is fun and a tasty experience. I highly recommend it.

What a cool little cafe! Located in the flightine of this little airport in Fullerton. They get an A+ for theming and decor--from the runway lights on the floor to tables made of airplane wings, it's pretty awesome. The menu is standard. They have omelets and happens and all the normal breakfast items, salads, soup, and sandwiches. We ordered a couple of tuna melts, tomato bisque, and a party melt with fries, and a mimosa. Everything was really good. The fries are clearly fresh cut from fresh potatoes, not frozen. I loved that when I asked the server if the tuna had pickles in it (blechhh), he said "we can make your tuna any way you want." It ended up being the best tuna melt I've ever had! He was such a nice guy and good server. Definitely recommend this cool little place. Spend some time looking at all the plane and military memorabilia!

We walked in to one of our favorite cafes and were greeted warmly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we sat down at our awesome window seat we could see the planes and all of the activity happening on the tarmac.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] With the busy lunch rush we waited a bit before our order was taken but then it arrived in a timely manner. The pastrami sandwich and grilled cheese and soup were delicious but the chili fries were seemingly a bit small and/or soggy for the amount of chili and cheese that was on it. No problem, their cheeseburger and chicken sandwich were tasty. Maybe steak fries would work for the chili. Oh well. It's still one of our favorite places. Thank you Wings.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool place to dine at especially if you like airplanes or maybe a fan of Top Gun[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Food and Service was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Simple menu and quick relaxing restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Small planes directly outside and lots of memorabilia on the walls inside and outside the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were in the Fullerton area and it was highly recommended to check out this breakfast place. The decor is very cool and it's located literally on the airport. It reminded me a lot of Flo's and the Chino airport. There are tables that are literally made out of parts from the airplane, which is pretty cool. For two pancakes, sausage and an egg and an iced tea I paid $27. The flavor of the food was good but what I paid for versus the portion seemed a little off. I always love supporting local businesses and will definitely give it a second try but if I was bringing my entire family here that would be a very expensive bill to leave still hungry.

After my weekly Fullerton Water-tower hike, I wanted to grab a mimosa and breakfast To celebrate my "A" on my Microeconomics midterm last night So, why am I just finding this hidden gem, after 7 years of coming to this trail?! One of the many reasons I love The OC - great good spots all over! So I love airplanes and this is a little cafe at the Municipal Airport in Fullerton. Nothing fancy! It's a small location on CommerceBlvd. Lots of nature light, couple CC TVs, and seats about 75 people total. They have $1.99 mimosas M-F. I had chili cheese hash browns. Yum. Typical Diner Style fare... sandwiches, soup of rye day, breakfast and a few dinner items. They severe beer and wine and every seat has a view of plans landing and taking off. The service was kind and helpful. Nice place to come and enjoy your time and enjoy some comfort food. Thank you Wings!

For an additional cost, you can add meat: prosciutto, salami, Spanish chorizo, or half & half of any two. For paninis, everything I've tried was very good. Ambience on the inside as well as the outside are both pretty great. I've also never had a bad meal here, virtually all of their food is spectacular and made from scratch although their prices are not "cheap" they are also very fair, especially given the quality of food. The drinks are also dead on, they have a wide range of craft beer as well as a full bar. The service is great. The only thing I could think of the lands in the constructive arena is their live music. Sometimes they have open mic nights, other times they have a hired band or musician. The music is way, wayyy too loud. I don't mind live music, but it can't be so loud that you are unable to enjoy the company. Patrons should be able to talk to the person or the people next to them without being drowned out by the music. I recently came with friends for drinks and we were having a great time for the first 10 minutes we were there, but when the music started, we couldn't hear each other talk at all. So we just sat there quietly, drowned out to mediocre music. We all had another drink and then left. Might be a better idea to have the music loud enough to be slightly above background noise, but low enough where you can reasonably talk and listen to those around. Even ordering at the bar was tough. We would yell an order at the bartender, who would yell at back for confirmation. Often, exchanges in this dialogue included "what was that?"

The crispy rice looked and tasted interesting. These were cubes of rice packed together with the outer edges fried. The cube resembled fried tofu because the inner part was soft with rice filling. I thought the dressing was decent and complemented the salad more than the ahi tuna. This entree comes in a large portion as well. Overall, the ambience was decent inside. Since there were tables already reserved inside, the bar was the best place to watch the game. The inside dining area was relaxed as we were the only ones there for the majority of our visit. We talked a little bit with the bartender as well. I was also surprised to see some board games at one side of the restaurant. In contrast, the patio was lively, and there was someone performing music. There weren't many suitable tables to watch the match outside, so we opted for dining inside.

Their front of house focus is the wine bar, but they also have a good cocktail and martini menu, as well as a nice selection of food items. The interior is warm and cozy with two different seating areas. The larger front area has bar seating, quite a few tables, and a lounge area in the back corner with several couches. There is another area in the back which is smaller, and houses their cocktail bar and a number of two seat high top tables. You can order anything on the menu from either area. We sat at the bar in front for some Sunday evening cocktails and small bites. We started out with the spinach & artichoke dip ($15). The dip came out very hot, was a big portion, and was very good. However, the menu said it came with toast points, but instead it was served with tortilla chips which were just ok. The advertised toast points or fresher tortilla chips would have made this appetizer better. My first cocktail was the Limoncello Martini (vodka, fresh Limoncello, lemon juice, $15). I usually love anything lemon and this was a good martini with light lemon flavor. She started with the Purple Martin Martini (vodka, raspberry puree, pineapple, $15). This was another good martini with light sweetness from the raspberry and pineapple, not a sugar bomb. We wanted a little more food, so we ordered the Caprese flatbread ($18). It was a good size, and the dough was great. It had a good amount of cheese and tomatoes, and I really liked the balsamic drizzle on top. However, it did not come with the basil that was listed on the menu. Next, I tried the Peperoncino Martini (vodka, Italian Peperoncino brine, black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, $15). I loved this, one of the more unique martinis I've had. She liked her sip so much, she ordered her own for number three. Her second cocktail was the Carmel Apple Martini (carmel apple vodka, Licor 43, lemon, star anise, caramel cube garnish, $15). Most of the time, you would expect a caramel apple martini to be a sugar bomb, but not this one. The flavors were great with a light sweetness. And who doesn't like a caramel square treat? For my last one, I had the Cinnamon Sleigh (bourbon, cinnamon spice, maple, orange twist, $15). This was a good sipping finisher with light cinnamon notes and those great orange aromatics. KJ was our server, and she was very sweet and friendly. We came early in the evening and it was a little slow, so we chatting with her quite a bit. I'd take a half point off for the two food items not coming with the listed items, but rounded up to five stars overall. The bill had a 3% charge added for using a credit card.
