This is a certain tier of Chinese food, obviously, so I am giving this place five stars based on that. I honestly don't get the negative reviews. Of the restaurants of this tier in the area, this is the best I've found. The food is consistent. It's fresh. The customer service has been fine for me, but I'm a polite person, so I elicit good service. The man cooking in the back even waved at me when I went for the first time. I've now been there four times, and I've been utterly satisfied each time. There are places where I've found things like BBQ pork that's half fat. Not here. It's quite tender. The vegetables have been noticeably fresh. My wife has enjoyed the food too. So, again, four meals in, and I'm satisfied once more. This is my go-to quick Chinese meal even though another place is decidedly closer to home. read more

They are the most unprofessional people ever. I tried to place an order off of the menu they have posted on google. They lady got mad at me and started screaming at me saying they didn't have what I was trying to order and don't have time for me to place an order because she had a customer. Because I work in the same plaza, I went over there and she held the menu in my face screaming at me and all I was trying to do was show her what I seen on the menu and tried to tell her they need to update it. A true definition about a whole in the wall spot. The place is so small They don't even have tables, it's just take out. I ordered 2 things, Mongolian beef and wings since the place had the name wings in there and I thought I'd give them a try. The order of wings were average basic wings. Nothing special at all. I only ordered them because they were in the name and won't be getting them again, however, their Mongolian beef was amazing!! Compared to another Chinese restaurant we recently visited, quoting my wife's impressions, "It's good." Translation: it's worth a return visit. Our order consisted of chicken and broccoli for her, and orange chicken and shrimp fried rice for myself. We also received 2 fortune cookies. Wow, what a feast! This place has the very best Mongolian Combo their is and trust me I have tried other places when they are closed on Tuesday or if I'm working far away. Hands down they food Mongolian Combo is the best and it's plentiful as well as their orange chicken and combination fried rice. Wing's is our go-to for Chinese takeout. It is definitely not your upscale joint, but they have good food, large portions, solid prices and quick service. I can not say I am much of a fan of most of their beef dishes. However, their potstickers are some of my most favorite. They also serve a great sweet and sour chicken and BBQ pork fried rice. Took the Chicken out from a plastic cooler that was on the floor. I am pretty sure that they should have a restaurant cooler .Not a beer cooler. I also noticed that she was not waring any shoes. We are semi new to the Alsip area and so we decided to give this place a try based on the Yelp reviews.... Bad choice!! I ordered and was told 20 minutes, showed up 20 minutes later and still had to wait another 10 minutes. Ordered Lg. Mongolian beef, it had 1 piece of beef to 20 onions. There was barely any meat in the container. Lg. Chicken fried rice, rice was OK, but chicken was very dry and scarce. Sweet and Sour Chicken was good and so were the egg rolls. This is one of the best places for Chinese in the area. I've been to Chi Tung, I don't see what the big deal is about it. Sesame Inn is better, but much more expensive. First, I'd like to say that the lady that takes our order is pretty good with English, we don't have to repeat ourselves 5 times. Wing's has amazing lunch specials, and after lunch hours if you add a dollar or two you can still order them. They come in a takeout box with the main compartment filled with what you ordered, and the rest filled to the top with chicken fried rice, and you get an egg roll. At lunch time it's about $5! Definitely cheap, but so much better than most. Their beef is nice and tender, not the stringy tough crap most places have, and the rice is moist, just thought I'd mention that because I've had really dry fried rice from other places, and because, for me, "moist" is a running joke. They're also good with special orders. They have veggie egg rolls and don't charge extra for them if you don't like shrimp, and I always order my food extra spicy, and they make it so! There's plenty of Chinese places with lunch specials like these, but this is the first to have quality beef, and consistent food. read more

Food that I ordered was OK, with the exception of the beef fried rice. Nothing special with the egg rolls, chicken chop suey was only average with not much Chicken in it. The first time I tried their egg foo young it tasted bland, since then it's been much better. Beef fried rice is one of the best that I have had in the southwest burbs, definitely will go back again for it. If it wasn't for the beef fried rice, would likely give it three stars. read more

The egg rolls taste like hamster food (I've never actually tasted hampster food, but I know what it smells like, and it smells and tastes like Wing's egg rolls).
