Who doesn't like chicken and waffles? I feel bad for the competitor food trucks since this truck stands out from a crowd and surely caters to anyone craving some delicious comfort food. Tenders were cooked perfect, moist inside, and delicious sauce (choose how you want your dipped). I went with Nashville Hot, which was flavorful and not too hot. Waffles were fluffy and delicious. This is one stop that I recommend. They have a truck in Downtown Disney. The food is so good I cried for more. We had the Nashville chicken tenders and waffle. Waffle was warm and crispy and fluffy in the center. The tenders had so much flavor and crisp and juicy chicken, I was crying. Not just cause of the heat that was heat and sweet. SOO GOOD!!!! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Cece let us know that we would not be disappointed and we were not. The young man at the cashier was also informative and polite. Definitely give them a try and be ready for some good food!!! read more

Let me just start off by saying the employees of this food truck (apologies forgot y'all's names) are the sweetest, most friendliest souls I've come across in a while. I had no idea what to get and they helped me narrow my choices down quickly. I was working the AIDS walk in WeHo and was starving and let me tell you, one of the best chicken and waffles I've had since Roscoes. The food was delicious but what I loved the most was the kind hospitality specially after a long day of being on my feet. I really hope I come across them again because I'm definitely eating here again! I wish I could give them more than five stars because they honestly deserve it. I remember asking one of the employees (they might be owners of this food truck) how they started and they mentioned they started outside of staple center years ago... it made me so happy for them, and to see where they are now. They were super good! Wow what fun selections and that chicken is slammin. I had the chicken Mac and cheese fries with Buffalo sauce. OMG, the chicken tenders & waffle were DELICIOUS! I asked for the chicken to be wet with buffalo sauce, they were more than generous & what a pleasant surprise, the chicken was the BEST I've ever had as far as tenders! Thick is the word that comes to mind! So good, we walked over to let them know & tip their jar, they were so appreciative! Oh, I asked for ranch & they usually charge, but gave it to me free! The truck was at Downtown Disney, and a friend of my daughter recommended their food. We stopped by and I asked for their peach cobbler waffle. They said they weren't selling it that day, so we bought strawberry, and fruity pebbles waffles. What we received looked nothing like their menu pictures. They had 1 small piece of fruit on them, they were missing ingredients listed on the menu, and the waffle itself was not crisp at all. It was soggy and floppy. On top of that, they were expensive. Good luck if you decide to check them out. Hopefully they'll improve by the time you do. read more

Oh food trucks - always seem to be a hit or miss with me. This review will be based on the item "soul burrito". - Wait time was really long, considering the item that should take the longest time to prep would be the fried chicken (which should not have to cook long since it is sliced/pounded thin". On that note, the chicken was dry and a bit overcooked. - The mac&cheese, while good, simply overpowers everything else it-is-so-rich. Seriously could not taste much of the other flavors. - No textures - other than the above chicken, everything was sort of a blob. Soft Soft Soft. - Rice? There was a little bit at the end of each half, and I have no idea what it was there for. Filler? If it was crispy rice, could at least go for the texture route. But it was not so. Overall, I don't think I could recommend. I'll be happy to try again, but would be apprehensive and probably go to another truck if there is one nearby, read more

Spotted this truck at Street Food Cinema and I just had to get my chicken and waffles fix. I got the number 2 combo: a waffle, three wings and a side. I went with their mac and cheese. I think the waffle was my favorite out of the trio. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. And it was mighty fresh. The wings and mac and cheese were decent. Seems like their signature creations are the things to try, like their bowl entree, which seems like it'd put KFC's to serious shame. Or their Soul Wrap and their Waffle Chicken Sandwich. Looking forward to checking them out in all their brick and mortar glory when it opens in Pasadena. The peeps operating the truck are super chill. Shout out to you guys for making my Street Food Cinema experience a little more soulful. read more

If your looking for chicken and waffles you should definitely look up where wings n waffles are!! They have a bunch of different menu items not just your classic chicken and waffles which is what I ordered!! The waffle was so buttery and delicious!! The chicken was yummy and crispy!! My friend had the sandwich and he thought it was really good!! He said it's his go too and loves the syrup they use! Pro tip: eat it while its hot otherwise the waffle gets soggy. read more

I feel like food trucks are a novelty. You are somewhere fun, trucks are there, and now it's time to pull out your wallet and wear it. They all charge fine dining prices, yet your food is served out of a tiny window on the back of a moving vehicle. 98.7 Summer Camp concert. Long Beach. Queen Mary Park. Somewhere fun. Trucks are there and we've had nothing but oat sodas all day. Time to soak up some alcohol. There were several trucks to choose from, but the Wings N Waffles truck just sounded right. I opened my wallet ready to be underwhelmed and what happened, we ate food that will not soon be forgotten. It wasn't a hunger love, it was a love of food that somebody has obviously taken pride in and serves to customers with pride. Buffalo chicken waffle sandwich. Let's think about it. Plenty of ways to screw that up. Bad sauce. Burnt chicken. Tiny piece of chicken. Burnt waffle. What did I get? Delicious spicy buffalo sauce, huge, plump, perfectly cooked chicken, and a warm, moist waffle. Heaven. Oh yeah, don't forget to drench it in maple syrup. Wings and fries. 4 wings? That's it? But again, perfectly seasoned and fried. Big ol wings too. Definitely a meal. Fries are standard. Prices at first glance are high but comparable to every other truck. Food truck was at our apartment building today. It's been a while since I had chicken and waffles, so I decided to order some from them. Pros: I was able to text my order so I don't have to wait while they make it. The Mac N Cheese was the best dish I had from the whole order (although it was a side) The Rice & Gravy was good. At first, I felt it was too salty. But when I mixed it all up, it was better. Cons: Biggest con was with the chicken. I was so disappointed that the chicken wasn't crispy...at all! Maybe next time I need to ask for well done. When I order fried chicken, I expect crisp. This definitely missed the mark. I ate one piece and couldn't have any more. The potatoe salad was just ok. I didn't get a chance to try the waffles yet. But I got enough syrup just in case lol. Overall, this wasn't a bad experience. I would order again, but will make sure to let them know that I'd like me chicken crispy. The service was great. They text me to let me know my order was going to be ready in 5 minutes. THE BEST! Had Wings n Waffles truck cater a birthday party for us last weekend and it was amazing. From the initial inquiry, they communicated super quick and were on top of everything! The food was so incredibly good, people kept raving about them and asking how I found them. The continued communication was impeccable, their staff were awesome and so nice, and I mean the wings and waffles were just soooooo good! I've also been missing and craving their potato salad and macaroni n' cheese, holy cow, so yummy. They are a delicious, on-point and above and beyond business, seriously can't reccomend these guys enough, 10000/10! read more

This place is awesome! If you get a chance to try this place, do it! Our apartment building had this food truck in front of it tonight so my wife and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the chicken waffle sandwich and my wife ordered the dessert waffle with a side of fries. My chicken sandwich was so good, the waffle was cooked perfectly! They give you a side of maple syrup which I recommend using! My wife really enjoyed her dessert waffle which had Carmel and whipped cream on it! The food truck actually had a lot bigger menu than most food trucks do which was nice. They offered things like wraps, other dessert, greens, potato salad, etc. One thing that stuck out was the Mac n cheese which I would love to try next time I see this food truck! Also customer service was on point and food didn't take too long, maybe about 10 min because they cooked everything fresh. Give this place a try!!! read more

This is my favorite food truck hands down! The chicken is consistently tender with great taste and the waffles are incredibly soft, ridiculously flavorful and mixes perfectly with the chicken. I always get the tenders and Waffles, but the chicken and waffles looks great well. They also have fries, Mac & cheese and specialty waffles too. It's a good menu. If they weren't so busy being booked all the time, I'd probably eat there more. When they do have offerings to the public, I rush to find them and they know that about me. Staff is awesome and always friendly. Best way to track them down is to follow them on Instagram (WingsnWaffles) and check their story for locations. When you do visit the truck check out all the pictures of A-list celebrities and athletes that have eaten Wings and Waffles. It's pretty cool to see the love they've been given all over the city. I ate at this food truck at Eat See hear in Brentwood last week and I was not impressed. First of all the chicken wings were not chicken but in fact look like turkey wings. The wings were so large that they were not cooked all the way through, which is the easiest way to get a person sick. The skin on the chicken was gummy and disgusting as well as the chicken coating. When I ordered my food they said it was going to take 45 minutes and to wait that long for a food truck I expect it to be cooked all the way through. I also ordered the Mac and cheese and it utterly disgusting!!! It tasted like flour and had no flavor. I literally took one bite and spit it out. I couldn't believe it. Please folks if you are anywhere near this food truck please do yourself a favor and turn straight around! The food is nasty and this truck should probably shut down. Had the waffle chicken sandwich. It was solid. Waffle was fluffy and sweet. Chicken was cooked well but didn't have that much flavor for some reason. Had to add some salt and pepper myself. Syrup was good. Also it's pretty small. Picture makes ur look bigger. 15 bucks. Could be worse. Decent overall. read more

They came to our apartment complex tonight for our Thursday Food Truck Night. I love me some good Buffalo wings and was worried when only 6 were on one serving. Wow, was I wrong. These wings are big, delicious and just the right amount of heat and most all, filling. I also go the Mac n cheese that blew me away. This is probably the hidden gem. Got the #1, which consists of 4 wings and a fluffy Belgian waffle. It was right outside work so that was convenient. Paid $10 for the #1 and another $1.50 for a can of soda. Pricey? Yeah, it's pretty pricey, but it's worth a try if you see this truck around. The 4 wings were juicy and tender. And had a lot of meat to them too. Make sure you get some hot sauce. Although the wings have flavor to them, some heat would kick it up a notch. As for the Belgian waffle, it's pretty big. Only one of these bad boys, but a delicious one. Was a bit soggy, but I think that was due to the butter melting everywhere and the waffle soaking it all in. It does come with the Smuckers syrup on the side. it was a delicious lunch. Definitely cheaper than Roscoe's, but a bit on the pricier side considering it's 4 small wings and a waffle for 10 bucks. But stars go towards the good food and the quick service. read more

We hired them to cater an entire weekend event with a lot of foot traffic. They kicked it out of the ballpark. The food was amazing. They hand dipped and fried the chicken on site. They were personable and couldn't have worked any harder. I highly recommend them. read more

I really wanted to like this truck more. I mean, who doesn't like chicken and waffles? My experience started when I received a box with greasy fingerprints all over it. It was supposed to be a waffle and three chicken wings. What was actually in the box was one drummette and two flats; that, Wings n Things, is 1 1/2 chicken wings - nice try. In my opinion, $10 is far too much to charge for that paltry amount of food. As for the food itself, all I can say is that it must have been an off day. My food was lukewarm. I LOVE this truck. Absolutely don't come if you're looking for a healthy or light lunch/snack, but if you're looking for a hearty, soulful, DELICIOUS departure from the norm, Wings N Waffles is your destination! WNW comes to my office once every few months and I'm always so glad they're there (and also glad they don't come more often because turning it down would be required for my health but so, so sad). I've had the grilled and regular chicken and waffles (always with a side: my favorites are mac and cheese or rice and gravy) and both are divine. Wait times can be a bit lengthy if they're slammed, but that first syrupy, chickeny, waffley bite is well worth it. read more

First off after reading other reviews, I do not doubt that they get good food out. However on tonight, MY FOOD WAS DISGUSTING. YUCk. The macaroni and cheese tasted like refrigerator. It has a VERY hard and dry chicken breast cut up on top. The wings had the potential to be great. Any great fried chicken connoisseur knows that fried chicken WINGS should be fried hard and the breading should NOT be falling off when you bite it. These wings DID NOT hit the spot. It was actually dripping liquid. Ewwww..... I should have turned around when neither person in the truck was wearing hairnets. When I looked inside the truck the cook was scratching his head? Where do I start!?!? The wings are A1. The seasoning on the chicken is better than ur mama's.... The waffles are one of a kind...make u go to roscoes and slap him up to rethink his recipe. But my favorite dish is the Sooooouuullll WRAP...That's mac n cheese, greens, rice n gravy, shredded cheese and hot sauce all in a tortilla!!! Heads up -- the plate is now 3 wings (instead of 4) and a waffle. Still sold at $10 a plate, so you get less for your money. Not cool, Wings N Waffles! I got # 2 -- 3 wings, waffle, and a side, which came to $11. I chose gravy and rice. The rice and gravy had decent flavor and a slight kick. It tasted all right. I'd choose a different side to try next time. The chicken is small, the Tyson drumette size you see in the frozen food section. It is tasty though -- good flavor, not salty, just right. The waffle -- I don't know what they do to it, but the melted butter / yumminess / magic they heap in the middle made it the best waffle I've ever eaten. It doesn't need the syrup on the side. The people were nice and I didn't wait long for my food (beat the lunch rush by a few minutes). It was my first time trying this truck. In comparison to Roscoe's, Wings N Waffles wins in flavor hands down. Just wish that they either a) had bigger pieces of chicken or b) reinstated that 4th chicken onto their combo plate. read more

Cannot overstate how delicious this food was. I got the standard wings and waffles, 3 wings with 1 huge waffle. The wings were crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The waffle was fluffy and tasty even without syrup. I've had my fair share of chicken and waffles, this is one of the best. These guys catered a party for me in Los Angeles. We had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was undercooked (bloody) for most of my guests. When I let them know, the person in the truck Jen (?) said we do this all the time the chicken's fine. Well, most of my guests stopped eating and we ended up calling uber eats to bring a bunch of pizzas. Rip off!! Came out of work late for lunch and saw the truck in the lot. Yes! I've never had them before but I was too busy to pack a lunch today so I was headed to the car for a powerbar. When I got closer I noticed they were cleaning up. I just missed em. I said hi anyway and they apologized. Then said, hey, do you want at least some chicken? We still have some. I was like, yeah! She brought me a basket around and when I asked how much, she said don't worry about it. Come back next time. This kind of thing is so cool! Not only was the chicken great, the gesture made my day. Don't use these people. Completely unprofessional and nearly ruined our block party. We booked them and paid in full. The day before the event they EMAILED not even a phone call but EMAILED claiming they are having truck problems. So why wouldn't you call? Coward act and very unprofessional. They likely canceled us to book a bigger event. Shame on you! read more

They used to be there weekly but now only a couple times a month :( My new go-to is the chicken Mac and a dessert waffle. The macaroni and cheese is creamy and very tasty. It's excellent. I hadn't had Hotville since their brick & mortar space closed last year. Other than the food coming out of a truck, nothing seems to have changed. I tried the Dulanville truck for the first time when they were at Three Weaver's Brewery. I had the fish sandwich, fries, collard greens, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. The fish sandwich was spicy, fresh, and delicious, and the portion size was very generous. The sides were tasty, and the desserts worth ordering. I really enjoyed the banana pudding, which had nice slices of fresh banana and was topped with a Pepperidge Farm chessman cookie. The peach cobbler was really good, too. Service was friendly - just like it was at the brick and mortar space. And the wait time was short. I'm glad Hotville is back - even if in food truck form - and look forward to eating with them again.
