I had been waiting to try this food truck for years but our paths just never crossed. But good ole Downtown Disney had them as their spotlight food truck for their celebrating soulfully event- score! I tried to go on a previous weekend but the wild rain in southern CA stopped them from being there that Saturday. I messaged them on IG and told them I went but they weren't there, they told me to visit them the following weekend and that they would be there. I was looking forward to going all week and the following week when I went - they were there! Wooooot woooot! I ordered the chicken and waffle plate and my husband got the chicken waffle sandwich. To my surprise but sincere appreciation they comped my entire order. WOW- amazing customer service which is a gem nowadays. Now to the food...whew, AMAZING and absolutely positively worth the wait. This is one stop that I recommend. They have a truck in Downtown Disney. The food is so good I cried for more. We had the Nashville chicken tenders and waffle. Waffle was warm and crispy and fluffy in the center. The tenders had so much flavor and crisp and juicy chicken, I was crying. Not just cause of the heat that was heat and sweet. SOO GOOD!!!! They said they weren't selling it that day, so we bought strawberry, and fruity pebbles waffles. What we received looked nothing like their menu pictures. They had 1 small piece of fruit on them, they were missing ingredients listed on the menu, and the waffle itself was not crisp at all. It was soggy and floppy. On top of that, they were expensive. They give you a side of maple syrup which I recommend using! My wife really enjoyed her dessert waffle which had Carmel and whipped cream on it! The food truck actually had a lot bigger menu than most food trucks do which was nice. This is my favorite food truck hands down! The chicken is consistently tender with great taste and the waffles are incredibly soft, ridiculously flavorful and mixes perfectly with the chicken. I always get the tenders and Waffles, but the chicken and waffles looks great well. They also have fries, Mac & cheese and specialty waffles too. It's a good menu. If they weren't so busy being booked all the time, I'd probably eat there more. When they do have offerings to the public, I rush to find them and they know that about me. I ate at this food truck at Eat See hear in Brentwood last week and I was not impressed. First of all the chicken wings were not chicken but in fact look like turkey wings. The wings were so large that they were not cooked all the way through, which is the easiest way to get a person sick. The skin on the chicken was gummy and disgusting as well as the chicken coating. When I ordered my food they said it was going to take 45 minutes and to wait that long for a food truck I expect it to be cooked all the way through. I also ordered the Mac and cheese and it utterly disgusting!!! It tasted like flour and had no flavor. I literally took one bite and spit it out. I couldn't believe it.
