Had wings today! Even after an hour, they were super fresh. Mango habanero is a must-try!

It's been a few years since I last ate at Fire Wings and we stopped in with some friends this past…read moreweekend for a catch up and some wings. We shared the 20-pack family meal, which came with 20 wings, 3 flavors, 1 large fries, and 2 dips. We added some mozzarella sticks and fountain drinks. Ordered on the kiosk and the food was ready in about 15 minutes. For the wing flavors, we got the salt and pepper bone-in, regular buffalo boneless and mango habanero boneless. My favorite of them all was easily the salt and pepper. The jalapeno and onion garnish just takes it over the top for me. 10/10 would order every time. The fries and mozzarella sticks were just alright though. While the wings came out hot, the mozz sticks and fries were room temperature, with the fries being a bit floppy. Overall, still a really solid spot to grab wings. Definitely a place I wouldn't hesitate coming back to when I'm craving wings.

We ordered about 40 wings for a party of 7 and still had some left over. My favorites were the peanut butter and mango habanero which were packed with flavor! The garlic noodles also hit the spot! They have indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of space. The restrooms were clean and service was quick and easy. Overall, a memorable food experience and will be returning when I'm in the area.

A small and cozy Korean spot located inside a shopping plaza that serves a few staples such as…read moresoondubu jjigae, oxtail soup, bibimbap etc. Their menu is on the leaner side but they have enough variety to have a good spread. We ordered the tofu soup and oxtail soup. I honestly didn't enjoy the tofu soup much, it was heavily flavored with msg and it overpowered the gochugaru and lacking traditional flavor. It wasn't for me. On the opposite, the oxtail soup was pretty solid and we would order it again. The other letdown was the banchan, it was unfortunately very bland, especially the kimchi which was very under seasoned. Overall, not a bad spot to have a comforting meal but note the flavors might not be consistent with traditional flavors.

We stopped by K-Noodle on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away…read more The space has a clean, modern Korean vibe -- bright lighting, cozy booths, and a welcoming atmosphere. Service was impressively fast without feeling rushed however the food took awhile to come out which was a bit too long. Here's what we tried: Beef Rib Noodle Soup - The standout dish of the meal. It came with two huge, tender ribs, and the meat literally slid off the bone. The broth was clear yet rich, full of flavor, and perfect for a comforting meal. Seaweed Rice with Spam - A simple but hearty side. The portion was big, with a thick slice of Spam on top of seasoned seaweed and fluffy rice. Great for sharing or for someone who wants a filling add-on. Jajangmyeon - Very generous serving size, and the noodles were nicely chewy. The sauce was on the lighter side -- still tasty, but I personally prefer a deeper, bolder black bean flavor. Overall, K-Noodle is a solid choice in Burlingame if you're craving a satisfying Korean noodle meal that is if you can wait. Affordable, fast, and that rib soup alone is worth coming back for! We'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.
