Servers were very nice. Fries are really good and blue cheese dipping sauce was great. This is the extent of the good. Ordered bone-in wings. Dry and took like a half-hour to get. I have been going to Wingstop in Elmwood Park since it opened. First lets get it out there that ALL Wingstops are not the same. YES its SUPPOSE to be the same food and menu, but the Wingstop in Elmwood Park is above and beyond!!! Consistant food and the best prices of any of the other WingStops I have been to. I have tried all of the flavors and I can eat all but 2 of them....Lemon pepper (to salty for me) and atomic (to damn hot). As far as customer service it is what it is. The place is so busy that they dont really have time to talk to anyone. If you want to talk to these guys go on Monday Tuesday or Wednesday when they are not as busy. 3 out of the 4 guys that work there are awesome (the 4th is a little rough around the edges). I did find something out that made me really happy about wingstop. Since its hard to get a table there sometimes, I found out that a few miles away there is one in Northlake that is owned by the same guy. i went there a few weeks ago and the same guys that were in Elmwood Park on Tuesday nite were in Northlake on Friday night ( they are hilirious together)!!! All in all I give them 5 stars because for what they offer it is the best!!! The wings are awesome and the fries with a cup of cheese are second to none. read more

The wings are so good! I little pricey, but well worth it!! Make sure you order ahead of time because it gets a little busy there on the weekends! The Smoked BBQ and Original Hot are amazing! I had tried this place once before and liked the fries more than the wings on that original visit. Well, the day before Thanksgiving I decided it would be a good time to go back, dining in this time as opposed to carryout like the first time. I have to say in fairness that my two stars are a composite rating as I would give individual grades as follows: Service: 1/2 star at best (virtually none) Wings: 2-1/2 stars Fries: 3-3/12 stars Ordering at the counter didn't start well. Just as it was my turn, the guy taking orders took a phone call. I think I heard him refer to the caller as "boss" and there was discussion about how busy or not busy they had been. He didn't even bother to acknowledge me or say something like "sorry, be right with you." I felt invisible as he rambled on with his important phone call. I started counting out my cash in front of him, hoping to catch his attention, to no avail. When he finally hung up, all he had to say was "yes?" I mean, that's all you have to say to me, "yes?" How about "so sorry, thank you so much for waiting, how can I help you today?" Zero, zero, zero customer service skills. Maybe this guy should be re-assigned to peeling potatoes to make the fries. I ordered the 4 boneless strip meal, with hickory BBQ sauce, and this comes with a nice helping of fries and a fountain drink with free refills. It was obvious that the wings had been done well before the fries as they were lukewarm while the fries were super-hot, very fresh out of the fryer. Uhh, I dunno, maybe it would've helped putting them under a heat lamp? I know, it's a brand-new concept in restaurants, maybe they haven't caught on yet. Anyways, the free refills on soft drinks require going back to the counter as they're not accessible to the small dining room. Uh-oh, I have to rely on this guy again, but no, it's another loser this time. A young lady gave him 2 cups to refill right ahead of me, which he begrudgingly did as I guess the regular counter guy was too busy doing something else. I slide in right after her and Loser # 2 turns his effin' back on me and walks away! Again, so sorry I'm a guy and not a gorgeous 21 year old blonde with huge ta-ta's, I'm just a lowly customer! Finally Loser #1 points at me and Loser #2 begrudgingly gives me a refill. To sum it up: this place really fried my patience. I have to believe that the franchise owner must really overly-rely on checking in solely via phone and hearing what he/she wants to hear, and rarely shows up to make sure the joint is run the right way. When the fries are the best part of a place called "Wingstop," it just ain't worth it. It's only a mile away from me and not that expensive, but no thanks, you guys have no clue about customer service. Buh-bye. read more

REALLY??? People like this place? I volunteered to go get the wings friday night. It was the first time I had tried them. I called the order in and left right away to go get them since I live 15+ min away. The first thing - some guy walks in the door ahead of me when I opened it as if I opened it for him. It is CRAZY busy at 8 pm. I realize they do not have a separate like for pick-ups nor do they yell out and ask if anyone is there for a pick up, so I have to stand in the LONG line when my order is on the counter getting cold. The layout is a mess when it is crowded and it was hard to get out the door holding 2 drinks and a bag of chicken. Nobody moves out of the way and you can't get aorund people in front of the door! I get home thinking these better be really good for all the hassle. For the first time the roomie did not say the wings were not hot enough! My teriyaki and mild were not so great. Hardly any sauce on them and the teriyaki was just not right. Plus, these have to be the skimpiest wings I have ever seen. The fries were mush by the time I got home - the dog got a few and I tossed the rest. I don't think I will make the hassle and go back - unless the rommie is REALLY convincing. First time trying WS. I ordered boneless garlic Parmesan and Korean bbq. Wholly sodium!! Both flavors were too salty for my liking. The wings however were a good size and served hot. I also had fries, which were or looked like hand cut so a star for that. The service was nice, friendly and fast on both ends. Star for that! Will I go back?? Hmmm should I give it another shot?? yes its delicious. the wait is annoying. i order at 4:05 n they said sure thing...15 to 20 min. i get my food at 4:45 no exaggeration. this has happened on more than one occasion so its my only negative point. would i go back...yeah but if it remains like the wait time...i'd prob find another wing place if i am in a rush. tooooo bad. hope u enjoy the wings. read more

This place is totally overrated. My wings were covered in oil and all the different sauces were blended together, thanks to them putting them all in the same container. I wasn't able to differentiate one flavor from the other. The chicken tenders were tiny and the 'wings' were smaller than a chicken nugget. But, they did give me like 6 lbs of fries.... read more

This used to be my GO TO Wingstop. This place has gone so far down the tubes its not even funny. I dont know if ownership changed or management, but its just complete chaos. I called ahead and ordered a 10 Wing Combo....and i was told to be at the restaurant at 9:40 pm. I arrived on time and paid for my food, and the guy behind me also ordered 10 wings. In my time of waiting i noticed on 3 separate occasions customers saying that had been waiting a very long time for their wings...ONLY to find out that their wings had been SITTING AND WAITING on the rack the ENTIRE TIME, just getting cold and losing flavor. After noticing this new PATTERN at wingstop, i realized that i too have been waiting a very long time for an order that i called ahead for. It wasnt until the guy who ordered AFTER i did and was a walk-in got his food before me... I looked at my watch and the time was now 10:05 so i've been waiting close to 30 minutes AFTER i was told to arrive. So i asked the manager how is it possible that i called ahead and the customer after me who was a walk-in got his food before i did? She turned around and checked the rack (where the cooks place food when the order is up) WAAAAAAAAAAY at the bottom was my order, which i noticed when i came in at 9:40 as it was waaaaaay on the bottom and i thought to myself "thats weird" No one bothered to check the rack when i arrived to see if my order was actually ready. I told the manager that this was unacceptable. She told me that she's sorry but they were busy. Im sorry, but this is a restaurant, if you are unable to manage a crowd or do something as simple as check a rack to see if orders are up then maybe you shouldnt be in business. Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon placed a carryout order six wing combo hot. I waited 15 minutes for my order. The cooks prepared the order quick enough but it sat in a line of orders that were ready but not being expedited. I opened the bag in my car the wings were swimming in sauce and overcooked. I feel sorry for the people claiming that these are the best wings they havery ever had. They are average at best. The variety of wings is solid but they have barely any meat on them. The fries are pretty good and the potatoe salad is pretty good as well. That said, they are extremely slow. I arrived to pick up my order 15 minutes after I was told it be ready and I still had to wait another 15 minutes after I paid for it. Sad. There was no, sorry it took so long or anything like that. Excellent hot wings. My wife and I have been there twice this week. The hot are perfectly hot. The flavor is spot on. Generous portions on the fries and veggie sticks. Hands down my favorite wingstop location. I've been coming here for years so most of the guys who've worked at this location know me on a first name basis. They're amazing. I usually order my food with the wingstop app and pick it up. It's usually quite crowded but this is honestly the best wingstop location in Illinois. My wings broke to the bone from being so deep fried and they had me picking bone chuncks out of my mouth. I usually go to the one on State street which doesn't drop the ball like this one does, I went in after a bad experience at this same store to give them a second shot. First time I was here I ordered fries crispy with extra seasoning. What I got was soggy season free fries. I did tell the staff about my previous experience with seasonfreesoggy fries over the phone. When I got there the staff even made a joke that it is typical a Cubs fans to complain. HORRIBLE service and not a store I would recommend. read more
