These are wings we ordered last night. We have been ordering wings almost every Friday or Saturday from this Wing Stop. Last night was the worst. Ordered original hot, lemon pepper, and Louisiana dry rub. Pictures included. Dried up to the bones stuck together. I call the store this morning. ( to late last night order pick up late when I got home from a trip.) Talk to manager was told that the wings he is able to get are small so when they put them in the grease it dried to the bone like skin. Really is all I could say. So I asked so how are you gonna make it right. He offered to credit my husband for the dry rub and lemon pepper. 15 wings. I didn't tell him about the original snice I don't eat them. There's nothing I like better than the original hot wings that made this place famous in the first place. I have just enough heat to make it very tasty, and with blue cheese sauce or ranch sauce they taste perfect, and I could probably eat at least 20 wings at a sitting. I'm a repeat customer at this Highland Village location, but my order always gets messed up. Today I called and did my routine order they had on file for pick up. I checked my order and again my order was no where near what I ordered. No manager came to apologize, she left that to the girl at the register. I know it's not the girls fault my order was incorrect. The manger should have stepped in then. After waiting another 15 minutes, my order was assembled again... WRONG!!! Ok. Sometimes you just can make this s*** up. First, I have complete sympathy and empathy (yep, both) for the food service business right now. First, the government closes you your store to "protect the public" forcing you to layoff or furlough your staff. Then this same government pays your laid off staff 2-3x their weekly wages in unemployment making sure that they will not be all that anxious to return to work. Then you get to re-open but only at 25% then 50% capacity. Look I understand. I am a businessman. I really do understand. I know that your A team is sitting at home playing video games, drinking beer and otherwise enjoying their newfound "wealth". And your B team is probably doing the same. What I don't understand is the apparent lack of training for the poor new folks who are filling in. So finally, my sad story. I have been a customer of Wingstop for as long as they have been in business. First in Denton, then in Highland Village. My family probably orders from WS about 30x-40x a year. Not quite every week, but very very often. For the last year or so I have ordered my fried "well done"...sorry, but I like them crispy...really crispy. I even tried ordering them well-well done. So for the last year, the HV store has been completely unable to get a fry order right. Ok, not entirely true. They got it right 1x. Another time I sent it back to be refried while I waited. Did not make the kitchen very happy. So today I play my usual 30 piece order, all flats, all celery, all ranch and one fry WELL DONE. I even asked the phone order person to make sure he marked it well done. He laughed and said "no problem". Showed up to get my order....and....wait for it....fries were NOT well done. I pulled them out of the bag, placed them on the counter and asked the guy who took my order "do these look well done to you?". He stared at them without saying a word. So I asked again if these were well-done. He looked at them again and then looked me right in the eye and said "I marked them well done on the ticket." End of conversation. Didn't apologize. Didn't offer to refry them. Nothing. Nada. Not even a smile. Just a blank "I don't really give a f***" look and turned and walked away. Like I said, you can't make this up. Now, I know what you are thinking. Why do I keep going back. I know. I can't explain it. But I have decided that I am going to find out who the franchise owner is at this store and also at the Lewisville and Denton stores. If they are the same, I may swear off wings. But if they not the same, I am taking my business elsewhere. I can deal with the order screwups. I cannot and will not deal with some 20-something's p*** poor attitude towards customers. Here's the latest: Ordered $50 of food to be delivered and a couple of the items were missing. I called the store and they said I could have a refund or come to the store and pick up the items they didn't pack. This is the best Wingstop in the Lewisville, highland village, flower mound area. They always go above and beyond to please their customers. You can ask for your wings any way and every way, extra sauce, extra seasoning, they never say no! They always seem happy to help and are always very kind. The only downside is that every time I call they put me on hold, for at least 5 minutes. Every single time. I get that they are busy but come on, waiting 5 minutes to place an order sucks! But I wouldn't trade them for another Wingstop! The fries are always crunchy and good. read more

I actually really enjoy Wing Stop - especially the one in Allen off McDermott. This one, unfortunately, has not met standards. I'm not sure if they don't cook the wings enough or what the actual issue is, but I do not enjoy them and tried them twice. With the mixed reviews I was a bit hesitate to try it for the first time but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how hot and fresh the food was and how good the customer service was. I decided to get the plain boneless wings and try the teriyaki sauce garlic parmesan sauce as dips. I do feel like the sauces are a bit concentrated and not made for dipping so it's better to decide on flavors and divide the flavors up instead of getting the sauces on the side. I've always enjoyed their fries and decided to get the cheese fries this time. I do recommend that because of the seasoning they put on the fries that it's best to get the cheese sauce on the side instead of on top. I'm not a huge fan of the surf music but the place is very clean and they have sports on a several beers in tap. If they could ditch the music I would be more likely to eat in instead of ordering food to go. I'm not a huge fan of wings overall but Hubby liked it so we'll likely be back. read more

I've worked near this location for 11 yrs. I have not been back in a very long time and today I'm reminded why......service is horrible. I tried calling in an order and was put on hold for longer than is to be expected. I hung up and tried calling back 5 times (I was really craving their fries and blue cheese dressing). The same guy with a very heavy accent answered the phone on my 6th attempt. I gave him my order and he sounded as though I was bothering him or an inconvenience. I never did pick up that order. Been coming here off and on for 15+ years. I have always enjoyed the food for the money. Good place for "to go" orders or sit down and enjoy a cold beverage and some football. The service is good and your food comes out in a timely manner. They do get busy on game days so just be prepared to wait a little longer if you decide to eat inside. read more
