Probably one of my favorite places to get chicken wings! Their garlic Parmesan flavor beats all the rest! It's a dry rub but the oil makes it a like a wet rub as well. You can also use it for the fries. The chicken wings is a pretty good size lots of meat and you get an even amount of flats and drum sticks. Service was pretty good and quick. Crew started our order once we paid and we got our wings in less than 5 minutes. This location can get busy especially during lunch time with all the take outs. My first Wingstop experience came when my co-worker asked us in the office whether or not we wanted to try Wingstop and we put in a large group order. That's when the fun started lol. I haven't been to Wingstop, just heard by name in passing. They specialize in chicken wings or special wings that essentially makes them like McDonald's chicken McNuggets, but wings with special dipping sauces and other fancy stuff that apparently you can really make money on. I dig the concept though. While the wings were pretty tasty, my experience with this Wingstop wasn't so much tasty but a bummer. One of my co-workers decided use Wingstop's mobile ordering system to place the order. We had placed an order of over $100 worth and somehow someway, their delivery guy seemed to miss delivering it. What I heard was they couldn't find the place. 15 minutes turned to 35 minutes before my co-worker called the restaurant to ask what's up. Minutes rolled on until we got the message saying, could not locate and my co-worker was outside waiting for the driver to pull up. We were basically disappointed and the local Wingstop location got an earful, basically. We ended up having to pick up the entire order at the restaurant, about 1 ish hour later from the initial order. Definitely wasn't acceptable for sure. Not sure if it was a new delivery guy, but at least having an idea of the delivery area you're servicing. The date of the order was back in March 15, 2022. I know late review, but it is what it is. Just got around to writing and filing it. Once we got our order from the coworker who had to drive down to the restaurant to pick up, we were happy and annoyed at the same time. It is what it is. They have a mobile app which accepts major credit cards. Their store also accepts major credit cards too, and cash of course. In the age of "post Covid" where masks are optional now, it's nice to not have to wear one, but the restaurant staff are required to wear when they're working. I've passed thru the area on occasion, so the buses to use are the ones that travel strictly on Dillingham Blvd, or else you'd have to walk from N king Street for some routes. Most major bus routes use Dillingham anyway. They have a sizable parking lot, for y'all who drive, which is cool for easy pick up ordering. While my experience was disheartening to say, I may consider coming here sometime when the wings call to me or whether or not my co-worker wants to do a group order again. Whether you love designer chicken wings or just something that's out of the ordinary, consider coming here to Wingstop to get your wing fix on. Wings are good, don't get me wrong. Just sucks when the delivery guy got lost and couldn't find us in a timely manner. I didn't take a picture of everything but this is the garlic parm wings and I also got buffalo. I always get mild buffalo and it was good .the parm was kinda bland. I dipped those wings in blues cheese and used my own hot sauce and it became YUMMY. But they need to season the wings. The fries are always salty and hot and nicely seasoned. So just do the same thing to the wings. It's an easily fixable issues but I still need to be honest about my experience. Also filling up the sauces half way isn't very attractive ...regardless I love wing stop. We got there and was told we needed to wait another 20 minutes. We ended up waiting almost another hour only to get cold wings. They have been getting worse and worse about getting the food out when promised on the app. We like this place but the wait and sometimes cold food will cause us to think twice. After leaving Costco and was in the mood for some wings. The challenge is always "who has great wings?" Stopped by Wing Stop Dillingham, lots of parking and it wasn't very busy. First impression was no greeting so I stood in front of the board to decide, the front counter person paused as if to greet me but then just turned away without saying a word. A simple "welcome, I'll be right with you" is always nice as many customers get that with staffing the way it is now you won't have someone just waiting for you immediately. I was a bit confused with the menu because it only showed the combos and not some of the other items I saw on the online menu. I asked about the classic combo (pictured in their window) and asked the price? She seemed a bit confused, then pointed back to the sandwich combo that stated $10.49 (?) and said that it's the same as that. It wasn't the same, it's $16.99. Well no problem with that since I wanted wings anyway. I ordered the wings plain as I wanted to try it with the Bleu Cheese and Mango Habaneto sauces. Honestly the wings were not satisfying at all... The cashier overcharged me and hubby for the free 5 boneless chicken pieces. I had to get my refund which was like $3 and some change. Once we paid, hubby and I literally waited an hour for our food. Who takes that long making chicken wings and fries? I got my drink cup and filled it with zero vitamin water in strawberry. I saw the time on my receipt and it said 9 pm. We didn't get our food until 10 pm. Ridiculous. I could get this on the mainland for less time and better tasting food. The fries were horrible. It was too hard and crunchy and dry.
