We ordered a ton of Classic (bone in) Wings: Original Hot, Louisiana Rub, Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Mango Habanero. My favorites have to be the Mango Habanero (dipped in ranch) and the Louisiana Rub. Original Hot and Garlic Parmesan are okay (have distinct flavors that taste just like the names), but Lemon Pepper is much too salty and flavored excessively with the lemon hint. The Mango Habanero is significantly less spicy than BWW, but still tasty and flavored well. Louisiana Rub is coated in seasoning, but is drastically different from the Cajun option. By far, Louisiana Rub trumps the Cajun wings. The Cajun flavor has got to be [one of] the worst on the menu. As for the sides, Baked Beans are quite sweet (for anyone wanting a sugary component), Potato Salad is savory and chunky, and the Fries are just mmm - delicious. Whether you have the fries with the regular fry seasoning or the Parmesan seasoning, both will be equally good. Now for the guys working there.. wow, made sure that we got our food as quickly as possible, prepared our tables with care, and threw in some freebies - just to make our visit a stellar one. i personally had a terrible experience at this wing stop location, but this wasn't my first time. i believe that some food spots have their good days n their bad days, but it seems that every time i've come to this location it's been BAD. recently, i came here on a friday night to pick up an order for a friend and i. we pre ordered online and went to pick up in store. when i got there, the manager (Tyler) came off as dismissive and unhelpful. almost bothered that i came in the store. i don't have the best eye sight so i was trying to re check the pricing of my meal on the menu, this alone seemed to annoy him. he was short tempered, impatient & clearly just wanting to get me out the store. he was rude to his employees as well. very short with them & addressing conflict in front of me as well. this was concerning & further revealed that i should just never come to this wing stop location again. the past 2 times they messed up my order which i wasn't too upset about, but the poor customer service was the icing on the cake. Caught the 50 cent boneless wing deal they have on Mondays/Tuesdays...which helped with the price because I do agree the prices are high (but thats at any chicken place, let alone restaurant these days). We opted for the Atomic and the Original Hot...oh and also added the Smoke9 bone in wings. The Atomic is pretty spicy, but with good flavor. This is the best wingstop I have ever been to. The service was better than most restaurants I have been to. The cashier immediately greeted us with a smile and helped out with a choice of family plan after seeing how many people we had. The cook in the back put down the wings as soon as possible to get us our meal quickly. They cleaned and arranged the tables as soon as we ordered since we had 8 people. The cashier and cook asked us if there was anything else we needed and also asked us how the food was during our meal. We got 5 star service and were all impressed. It's strange that the quality has such extreme highs and lows to me really. I myself prefer consistency when looking for a regular spot to order a specific item. Some days the wings are large and juicy, some days they seam smaller and over cooked. They do have a large volume of customers at certain times so maybe this has a little to do with it. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Also the customer service when ordering over the phone for pick up sucks. The only person in there that works their ass off and is super friendly is the gentleman in the back that's cooking the wings and taking orders to speed things up. The lines here at out of control long during lunch, probably because of the military discounts they offer and the specials that take place some days. You can plan on waiting a minimum of about 15 minutes for your food though. On lunch time or dinner, do not think you can save time calling inn. Your literally gonna be waiting on hold till your 1 billion years old. The location is however very convenient. Located in Lakewood town center right next to a few other businesses there is always plenty of parking. As far as the wings themselves they were cooked right but just OK and definitely not something I would ever rave about. The sauces - Mango Habanero was barely spicy, so I was very disappointed. When I order habanero ANYTHING I EXPECT some degree of heat. (BWW's definitely reigns supreme on the Mango Habanero wing sauce). The Garlic Parmesan was another fail. It was more of a buttery greasy mess than a "sauce" by any means....It basically looked like they threw parmesan on top then drenched the wings in garlic butter, so another major fail there. The three review is based solely on the good service (Easily a 5 in the service category) and french fries (A solid 4 on their own). If the service had been poor this review would be much lower.
