Finally, Wingstop is back in Petaluma! In my opinion, Wingstop wings are worlds better than B***alo Wild Wings, so this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Let's start with the good: - The wings (original) were perfectly cooked and crispy - Fries were also cooked just how I like them and seasoned well - The location! It saves a 15-min drive to Rohnert Park The not-so-good: - You can tell employees are still getting their footing. At least six staff were working the line, and it seemed chaotic, with only one cashier and a constant flurry of customers. I wished one of the many employees on the line (or the manager) would come help expedite online orders, which seemed to be what most people were waiting for - The hot honey rub had absolutely no flavor, it tasted like there was simply no seasoning/flavor on the wings at all - The fountain soda syrup/water mix is not right, and tasted off, which is surprising for a spot that just opened While it might seem like there is more not-so-good than good, overall I got some good wings and some good fries, which is usually why people go to Wingstop in the first place! So my wife and I ordered one for each of us as a meal. He was wrong! Both sandwiches were dry and disgusting. The fries were soggy. They had no utensils to eat with the guy said they were out of them. They were also out of ketchup for the fries. The soda machine had no ice for our drinks.
