I cannot sing the praises of the Wingstop at 4531 New Bern Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina, enough. Their food is good and I always receive great service there. Tim, the general manager, is a phenomenal leader who makes sure that customers feel valued. Recently, he went out of his way to correct an error that was made by UberEATS. I placed a large pick-up order that totaled over $200. I was out of town and was donating the lunch to a nearby nonprofit. When an employee of the nonprofit came to pick it up, UberEATS had sent the order details, but not the payment, so the order showed up as unpaid. The employee paid for the order after I sent them the money and then almost a couple of hours later, UberEATS charged me for the same order through the app. I tried to get it resolved and UberEATS just kept making me run around in circles. I went to the restaurant and Tim immediately worked hard trying to get me a refund. He called UberEATS and spoke to multiple representatives. They initially told him they would give me a call to resolve the issue so I left the restaurant expecting a call from UberEATS that never came. When I went back to the restaurant a second time, he called them again and when they refused to own up to their mistake, Tim was able to find my order through the restaurant and issue a refund. On occasion, I will DoorDash, and yesterday I received 2 orders to be picked up. When I arrived, I waited approx 30 minutes before the manager explained they were short staffed and thanked us for our patience. A few minutes later the electronic board shared my one of my two orders were completed, and updated doordash it was ready. I however had to wait about 15 minutes more to receive the second order. when I asked the cashier if I could go ahead and grab the 1st order, which they informed DoorDash was complete, she said they were still working on it! I asked her why would they say the order is finished, wipe the board that showed it was complete, if it was not actually ready? She said with a slight frustrated tone, that they were short staffed and parroted the manager. That is still unacceptable because the driver is usually penalized, like were lolly gagging and not delivering the food in a timely manner. I give two stars because the manager was cool, but still a disappointing experience. I only received one order out of the two because of essentially an hour plus wait time. read more

This is normally my go to Wingstop but after today's order, I will not be ordering here again. I ordered a 20 piece, traditional wings and my chicken is full of white spots (freezer burn) and smells like chicken blood (spoiled). I've been calling the restaurant as I'm not able to go back to the restaurant today and no one is answering. I've called 4 times and not one answer! Wingstop cost way too much to be receiving low quality and spoiled chicken and no customer service. Update: I went back to the restaurant and the cashier argued that their chicken was fresh off the truck this morning and wasn't spoiled. Took my order in the kitchen for the cooks to smell, loudly asking if it smelled spoiled while the place was full of customers. Of course they're going to say no but how can you smell it when it's covered in sauce?! She then return to me and says they don't wash their chicken which the smell is from and the white spots are from the chicken sticking together during the cooking process and was just under cooked (spoiled and undercooked chicken both leads to salmonella poisoning, food poisoning which both can lead to severe sickness and death. After all of that, she started to ask about remaking the order which I of course declined and requested a refund. I was told that a refund takes 5-7 days and has to be done by a manager which was not on duty but my info was taken. I will be going there everyday until I get my money back. And during that time, I physically drove up to this store and upon entering saw only 2 people working on a Friday evening and they didn't speak English. First visit to this location, and only the second time I have ever eaten at a Wingstop. Counter employee has very helpful, since the menu board confused me at first. I ordered boneless wings to go, and the order included fries and drinks. The wait time was pretty good, especially since I was there around 6 pm and they were is busy. Was my fifth & LAST time attempting Wing Stop. Previous issues included slowness, missing items, poor sanitation score/rating reported on the news after I'd just finished eating & rudeness. Ordered through mobile app around 8pm. Told it'd take about 16-21 mins, so I gave 25 and food still wasn't ready when I got there. Filled my three drinks while I waited. Drove home, took out what was supposed to be three combos, except was missing an order of wings! I called the store & was put on hold. Drove back 15mins to the store (while still on hold) and was disconnected seconds before pulling into the parking lot. Walked into the store & explained the issue to the counter-person & manager on duty. Besides a "we'll get those wings right up for you", there was no apology or compensation for having to make an extra trip or waiting. Did a delivery order from THEIR website and it came missing my large fries. Called them and said I can come in and get them. I ordered delivery. Then they proceed to tell me to contact DoorDash whom I didn't even use the app to order called DoorDash and they said the company(Wingstop) should send me the fries since they messed up the order. I ordered wings from here on Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were perfectly crispy and very flavorful. I got the original and the lemon pepper wings. I found the original wings to be just like buffalo. t=They were tangy, but I wish they had a little more of a kick to them. I've had horrible experiences at this location. I ordered $75 worth of wings on 9/7. I picked up my order and returned to work. Got back to my destination and realized they forgot half of my order. Called and told them a coworker would return to pick up the rest of my order. When he got back, the order was totally wrong. we had to wait 30 mins longer than the promised time x 2 and the orders were completely wrong. This is not the first incidence with this location.
