I order wingstop not for the wings (they are just okay) but for their fries. I have now ordered fries with EXTRA seasoning on three occasions, all three times they have been delivered with ZERO seasoning. I finally called on this third time (assuming the first two must have been mistakes??). All they can tell me is they don't know and they don't navigate the app so they aren't sure how to prevent this in the future. It may not sound like a big deal, but when the fries are usually the best part of the meal and the only reason I order from them in the first place it has ruined the experience. read more

I've been back a few times in the years following my original review and they have definitely improved, don't know if it was a change in management or better employees but their wings have been consistently solid of late. Update (Dec 17, 2019): Picked up some Wingstop again to see if things had improved and I'm happy to say they have. Before I left the store this time I had them open the boxes to check how well things had been sauced and they were well covered with a small amount of extra sauce dropping off. There is also something about their ranch that we really enjoy, to the point that whenever we throw a party we usually pick up a large ranch from here instead of the grocery store. While I won't forget what happened that prompted my original review (which I will leave intact below), I am happy things have improved and will be back soon enough I'm sure. Original Review (Nov 2019): My wife and I have been coming to this Wingstop for many years now, but our most recent experience has us considering other options. It was a simple order, 20 boneless wings with Hawaiian sauce for pickup. What we received was was 20 mostly dry wings with very little sauce. I promptly reached out to Wingstop on Twitter and left negative feedback through their after-order survey, and I was reached out to by their manager. I was told that the chef was new and was offered a gift card for my troubles. It's been 10 days now with no sign of said gift card, but even then, we've been noticing that over the last roughly year the amount of sauce on the wings has been slowly diminishing. They are usually still covered in at least a thin layer of sauce, but this time things had gone too far. If/when I do get the gift card I will update my review to reflect that, and again the next time we order from them, but as it stands right now we have no plans to return here anytime soon. Update (Dec 11, 2109): After posting my review, the manager Carlos reached out to me again about the gift card and I ended up going there in person to get it. This store is an absolute disaster! If you're thinking about ordering pick-up, don't even bother. I ordered my food online to skip the annoying wait time and when I went to the store to pick it up, I was met with a line of only 2 people. The cashier kept taking phone calls it was extremely rude to those of us in line. It was so frustrating to see my food just sitting on the shelf, getting colder by the minute. I ended up waiting for 30 minutes before I finally got my food, and to my dismay, it was lukewarm and completely unappetizing. I couldn't even ask them to remake it as I had no time, so I had to bring it home to my family for dinner, and they were not happy with the quality of the food or the fact that it was cold. To add insult to injury, when the Asian girl who was the cashier finally got to me in line she looked me in the eyes and started to ask me what I want and before I could even speak that I have a online order. SHE PICKED UP THE PHONE saying "one second sir let me complete this order" TO THEN LET THE PHONE CALLER ORDER BEFORE ME. What a complete waste of $26! Our first time at Wingstop. First, the service was not the best experience but because we don't know what to expect it may not be a fair review. The food was good and hot but we didn't get what we ordered found that out when we got home grandkids not happy. This place RUINED my Superbowl this year. I placed my on line order at 830 am for a 230pm pick up. 1 hour before kickoff. I arrived at about 235pm and was told it would be a few more minutes. Well about 15 minutes later was told again "a few more minutes" till it was 330pm and the kick off had already happened and I had several guests at my house waiting for me to come back. I finally demanded to know how much longer, and was told another 20 minutes. BS! I asked for my money back and was told I would have to come back Monday. WTF? No I want my money NOW! Finally about 350 I got my money back. By the time I got home missed the 1st quarter, the national anthem, and had no wings for my guests. Never again! The tables, floor and bathroom were all filthy. No one came to get anything off the tables and we couldn't figure out where the garbage was. Every table was piled high with garbage. We ended up using the little wet wipes they have to clean off our table of caked on sauce and other unrecognizable gunk. Got wings here yesterday for the Ravens/Redskins game. Got wings here a few times before and they were mushy, not crispy at all. I ordered them online the night before the game. There was an option to request well done, and an option to request all flats or drums. This is rad because my gf doesn't like drums. They were done early and were cooked very well. We usually don't eat at Wing Stop, but I was craving some wings on this particular day -- sometime last week. We ended up with the meal deal of 25 wings with 3 different flavors and one of each sauce. We ordered online and I went to go pick it up. When I was called up to the cash register the girl asked for my name and then began to read me what I had ordered. I confirmed that that was my order and she grabs the bag from behind her, puts it down and starts to rummage through it. I thought, well maybe she's now going to just verify they got everything. Finally, she starts pulling out these sauce containers -- about 6 of them, two of each flavor. She then wrinkles up the bag closed and pushes it toward me. I go, "well, what about those?" Her: "Well, you got one of each sauce, right? That's what your receipt says. So, those are just extra" Me: *starts looking back in the bag* "well, there's just 3 containers in here..." Her: "Yup!" *and starts walking away. Maybe for 25 wings, customers are only allotted 3 containers (1 for each flavor), but even if that's the case, you clearly knew that there were "extras" in there -- maybe a staff keeps making that 'mistake' or whatever the case may be that led you to open my bag of food -- but why do I HAVE to pay the price of your grimy hands, that has just touched the register/money/ect., in MY FOOD to pull out measly sauce containers that apparently shouldn't have been in there in the first place!? If there's extra in there, then let it be and train your staff better! So disgusted by not only this lack of consideration, but also the blatant rude response to my inquiry and the obliviousness of her gross conduct. If don't mind sitting on hold for 8-12 minutes to place your order, then Wing Stop is the place for you. Every time I call, I can never place an order when the Wing Stop employee answers, they always place me on hold and I have to wait. And I wait and I have to wait and wait and wait some more and then eight to twelve minutes later, they get back to or they hang up on you. They don't take the time to train their employees on good quality customer service. They place you on hold and never get back to you. If I could give them zero stars I would. I would ask you to think first, why should we support a business that has no regard for it's customers, they don't care, as long as they are selling chicken wings they don't care about this community, I have been at the counter when the young untrained employee has put some poor soul on hold and took forever to get back them. I am talking eight to ten minutes and the employee not know how to operate the phone and end up hanging up on the customers, and this is an every day thing. NO REMORSE ! Management doesn't care, the staff don't care and you know the owners they don't care. The only way to improve is to stop going until they start marking a better effort on their customer service. I can't be only person who get treated like dirt every time I try to place an order. The people of Reno/Sparks there are so many other place to eat, suggest you bypass the Wing Stop and patronize a business that takes care of their customers! I had been craving wings for days and finally gave in around 7:00 pm on a Monday night. I used the Wingstop website to order 10 wings featuring Garlic Parmesan and Louisiana rub. I also ordered ranch dressing, which they charged me extra for, which made me think.....shouldn't first dipping sauce be free?? I showed up 7:20 pm (when the email said it would be ready) and it was ready and hot! I did have to wait a bit while the cashier finished up her phone call, but it wasn't long at all. The place was packed with hungry wing eaters. The wings were good, but I would definitely go a different route next time. The Garlic Parmesan were pretty good, but the Louisiana rub was....meh..... Wingstop is a bit expensive for 10 wings and ranch, but they were good enough. I'll probably be back, but only because I like wings, and we don't have too many other choices here in Reno. read more

This has been a great go to for a while now. I'll explain a lot about my wing likes and dislikes in This review. I take pride in wings that I eat. So having said that as an opening statement should explain how serious I am about wings So wing stop has consistently been on my top 5 for a while now. The Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic park my top 4. They don't call me the wing king for no reason. I stick to drumsticks and like them extra crispy. Their ranch is pretty bomb. Fries also are a big hit in my book. I unfortunately will not be going as much being that my beautiful bride has discovered this way to cook wings by baking them and still getting a crisp outside and fully cooked interior. I told her I needed to write a yelp review on her cooking....she didn't respond I do need to let wing stop know, the wings are getting bigger which is normally a sign that quality is changing. Ok I'm mixed in my opinions here. I've always had the food to go, and it's been good. We decided to eat in the restaurant today. We got the 30-pack with original, BBQ, and teriyaki, all in boneless. They were out of blue cheese dressing, which is a huge BOO because I love it with my wings. But ranch will do in a pinch. The wings were good. I mean... Besides the teriyaki which is my son's favorite for whatever reason- I think that flavor is terrible! I like their fries and the BBQ wings are my favorite. So we are just eating our way through all this food and all of a sudden I bite into a BBQ wing and there's a big green weird clump in it. I don't know what this is, I spit out my mouthful before I have a chance to even chew it once I see the green. Upon really close inspection, it looks a little like a piece of artichoke? Imbedded in chicken though? So weird. I still have no idea what it could have been. But huge kudos to the manager, whose name my husband cannot remember. My husband brought the offending wing to the front counter and the manager was summoned. He apologized profusely and offered to buy our next meal here. Another satisfied customer....again! My family and I have been here many times and they have never let us down. Always a great meal with the best fries and well cooked chicken at its best in about 18 mins! Love the cajun sauce on bone and if you're feeling adventurous then go for it and dive in to the nitro sauce which has a great kick to it without sacrificing taste! On a mild level of sauce, you will be safe getting the original which is very mild but tastes great also and the kids really love the parm cheese and bbq. Eating at Wingstop always seems like a good idea, that is until you taste the food. They are masters of bold and bland in the most extreme sense of the words. Eating garlic flavors so potent that it'll melt human skin, and parmesan so bland you'd bet your first born it's made of white rice smashed so tightly into a nugget it appears to be chicken. Every time I go here, I'm more and more disappointed. Their prices are great, but when you realize what you're paying for you still feel as though you volunteered for a soft back alley mugging. That isn't fair, but only because I would rather get punched in the stomach than ingest this "food" again. Bright side, they have a killer soda machine that works at least 25% of the time. 10/10 would not eat again. I ordered the 20 wing boneless combo for delivery. The other night, in the ordering process was the best part. That wasn't a joke. This next part is. So due to a recent car accident, I am unable to walk at the moment. So I placed a delivery order. I ordered 20 wings, fries and a drink, and a couple of ranch cups pretty simple, right? Upon delivery I only received eight wings, not the flavor that I had ordered, and nothing else. When I called to see what the deal was some burn out behind the counter made me repeat myself three times before he finally figured out what I was saying. This is when I found out that the driver did not pick up both of my bags. So the burn out said he was going to get the manager to see what they could do for me but then left me on hold for almost 15 minutes. When he finally came back, he basically told me to kick rocks and that they couldn't deliver the rest of my food and that it wasn't their fault. Now I understand it's a third-party delivery service, but why didn't the store employee make sure to hand both of my bags over? What about my drink? I paid over $30 for my meal (not including tip) and got maybe $5 worth of food. They offered me store credits or a full refund, which I have not received. The manager, the employees, and the random delivery driver all seemed to be incredibly incompetent. The way I was treated, but everyone I interacted with was terrible, it literally seemed like they did not care about their jobs or the way they interact with their customers. This Wingstop has always had issues, this one takes the cake by far though it would be nice to at least receive my refund, I won't hold my breath. I get mistakes happen, but when they do at least own up to it and don't blame everybody else. And when you say you're going to refund somebody, at least do that, it's the bare minimum. Wing Stop makes great wings -- but take seriously their ratings with respect to spiciness. Rubs and sauces with four "peppers" will be felt inside your mouth. French fries will relieve the heat, as will the celery and raw carrots which came with our order. The wings last night were huge -- I wondered how big the chickens they came from were. Every fast food place should have a soda machine like Wing Stop does. Using a menu system, you can create a large variety of different drinks as opposed to the four or five in most fast food places. Seating is limited and the place's configuration is a bit odd. My biggest gripe about Wing Stop is that while the place screams "take out" there are no trash cans readily available for either the many, many soiled paper towels created when eating wings or the chicken bones left afterward. This leaves the place with a vaguely unsanitary feel that could be remedied by the mere addition of a barrel garbage can in the corner. read more

Wingstop is my favorite for wings. I love the garlic parmesan, lemon-pepper and the mild hot is surprisingly still pretty spicy for my liking. Also, they have a wide range of sodas you can choose from. I enjoy the ranch and the fries are to die for! Very clean, white chicken, I like them boneless. We normally visit another chicken wing establishment in town, but Wingstop has online ordering (which is way too convenient for its own good). We've been to this location many times and we can count on the quality and correctness of our order. We always order ahead and pick up to take home, so I can't speak to service when you dine in. You can get your wings cooked any way you like (mmm, extra crispy) and they have a great selection of sauces and rubs. I'm not a fan of their French fries but that's just my personal thing. They get soggy when you order them to go so we do extra veggies instead. We've had most of their sauces and rubs except for the really HOT ones. We like to do their family packs and mix the traditional with the boneless. It's a good value and you can still make it the way you want. read more

I love this wing shop. The food is amazing. They take a lot of phone orders so in the future I will call ahead and place my order. It took 10-12 minutes for our order to be prepared. They told us that they make each order as it is placed. The restaurant has an order counter and tables both inside and out to sit at. One of the highlights is that they have a FANCY COKE MACHINE. You can press a touch screen and they mix a flavor with it. For example: Press coke zero, then it brings up about 8 flavors of coke zero or regular. I chose cherry coke zero. They have tons of drink options with this fun machine. I had the 3 piece chicken strip combo with "original hot" flavor. It was basically Buffalo flavor. YUM! The fries were very fresh looking. The look like a "real" potato french fry with the skin still on it. My husband ordered the boneless wings and wow they were huge. I am very impressed with this little place and WILL be back. My husband and I frequent this Wing Stop quite often as this place is right down the street. We really like Wing-Stop wings and have found some new favorite flavors. Louisiana Rub and Lemon Pepper are the best. We usually do the meal for two (15 wings, 2 drinks, large fries, and 2 sauces). You used to be able to add 5 wings and they would just do half and half. Now when you order the extra wings, you have to only pick one kind and they put them in a separate box. It seems like a waste of Styrofoam and I like to have my wing flavors equal. We used to do the online ordering, but it seems to mess up quite often at this particular location. There's been numerous time the system is down or that they say your order can't be completed (and then charge your card anyways each time and have to void the card). It's one of those super cool Coke machines where you can select from about 20 varieties, each with different flavorings. I mean, where else are you going to get diet vanilla ginger ale? Boned wings, boneless wings, wing combos--if you read it aloud you sound kinda like Bubba from Forrest Gump. Fifty-cent wings on Mondays and Tuesdays But the wings are good, the sauces are flavorful (I'm a fan of the buffalo or the bbq). Sometimes they can get a little heavy handed with the sauce so ask for it on the side if that's not what you're looking for.
