This is NOT a Wingstop store. It's a food hub that has a bunch of different food places and unless you live in the neighborhood, I recommend just going to a real wingstop because this place takes so much time it's unreal.

It's a great open-air setup with both indoor and outdoor seating, a relaxed sports-bar atmosphere, and TVs everywhere playing just about every game you could ask for. There are plenty of finger foods to choose from, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering how close you are to the ballpark. The chicken wings are MASSIVE--juicy, packed with flavor, and definitely worth ordering. The tots were light and crispy and cooked perfectly. What really impressed me was the service. The place was busy, but the staff was still surprisingly attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Best part? You're literally steps from the ballpark. It's a perfect spot to grab some food and drinks while waiting for the gates to open. Great atmosphere, good food, solid prices, and an ideal location for Padres game day. Definitely adding this one to the pregame rotation! Go Padres!

Drinks were nothing special and the food was above average bar food. We had wings and a pretzel. The pretzel was soft and had the best mustard dipping sauce I have ever had. The wings were large and had a substantial amount of meat. Service was solid for how busy they were

Everything we tried was delicious--sourdough dinner rolls, shishito peppers, heirloom tomato salad + chicken, sea bass entree, strawberry watermelon mocktail, and kids meal (butter pasta & cheese that came with fruit, milk, and ice cream). My toddler did a little dance when the fruit cup came out cuz it was full of berries haha. Theresa was our server and she was helpful & friendly. Definitely recommend Ace Porter if you're in the area or staying at the hotel !

I have to say - for San Diego Comic Con, this has been one of the best places I've eaten at in the…read morepast 15 comic cons I've been to. I usually don't like to eat in and around Gaslamp during Comic Con because restaurants are crazy packed, menus are limited and overpriced, servers aren't all that friendly, food isn't the best, and it's just not a comfortable situation. But Ace Porter at the Omni Hotel is my new go-to spot. Me and friends visited 3 days in a row!! On two of the occasions we had Serena as our waitress. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and just a wonderful person overall. On the third visit we had the blond lady as well as another latina? wearing a hat (so sorry I did not get your names!) and they were both also so wonderfully kind and helpful! We ordered various foods across our visits and here are the items I tried: Birria grilled cheese with fries - the fries kinda sucked but the sandwich was super. The bread was thick and toasted well with a fluffy interior and crispy edges; the birria was tender and juicy, so much cheesy goodness, but sadly they did forget my consomme for dipping. Wings - these were gochujang something wings and they were outstanding. Not as crispy as I typically like but there was so much meat on these wings and the sauce was incredible. Sticky, sweet, spicy, the perfect combo of korean and american flavors. Surprisingly also went well with the ranch! Sliders - these were kind sad. Basic sliders with not much flavor. Dark Knight Burger - I think this had bacon jam, onions, lettuce, tomato, and havarti? Overall a solid burger and good size. The only issue with the "restaurant" is that they direct everyone to the two single-person restrooms upstairs when the hotel has a regular restroom on the other side of the lobby. The first two days we waited forever because people would be lined up but then we learned about the other restroom and started using that one. Overall, even with a few hiccups, this is definitely the place I would return to next comic con

I hate to say it but Wingstop has to be better than dirty birds! Walking in feels like game day…read morewith the way their lobby is set up, and the "welcome in" is like a chorus. Ms. Erlinda will normally take my order super-fast, and she's the one who told me about the survey for a side deal (she's awesome). I like to order the 10 boneless because of how fast the order gets out, best flavor is Korean BBQ easily.

I want to be clear that this review reflects our recent to-go order, which may have been a…read moredifferent experience if we had dined in. I doubt the outcome would have been much different, but I want readers--especially those considering takeout or ordering through Uber Eats, GrubHub, or DoorDash--to have that context. What we ordered: 30-piece Mix & Match Crew Pack (10 Cajun wings, 10 Hot Honey wings, 10 Lemon Pepper boneless), all requested extra crispy/well done, carrot and celery sticks, three ranch dressings, a large seasoned fries, and a 5-piece fried corn add-on. The issues: Unfortunately, none of the food arrived hot, and none of the 30 wings or boneless pieces were cooked extra crispy as requested. The fries were placed loosely in the large to-go bag in an uncovered paper tray, which could have easily spilled during transport. The carrot and celery sticks were simply wrapped in a napkin and placed in the bag in the same open tray as the fries. The fried corn also didn't taste fresh. I'm not suggesting it wasn't freshly made--only that it didn't taste like it had just been fried. The main reason for this review is the value for the price. The total came to $68, and the overall quality and packaging didn't feel close to worth that amount. For comparison, we could have ordered a similar quantity of food from Panda Express for around $52, or from Epic Wings or Buffalo Wild Wings. They might be similarly priced--or even slightly more--but I would have gladly paid $70-$80 if the food tasted fresh and the order had been packaged with more care. Those dining in may have a somewhat better experience than we did with takeout. However, based on the average Yelp rating for this location, we're not convinced that would be the case.
