We ordered the happy hour calamari, and for lunch I had the perch sandwich with chips and wife got the luncheon steak filet. First the good news. Service was good, food came out quickly and my wife said her steak (while a bit pricey at $35 for a small filet) was excellent as were the green beans that came with it. Now the bad. The calamari was severely over-fried and basically tasteless. My wife asked me "do you taste anything?" and candidly, I didn't. Just the dipping sauce. My perch was equally flavorless, all I tasted was bread. Same goes for the 1/2 baked potato that came with the steak. That looked and tasted exactly like a microwaved potato someone sprinkled a bit of shredded cheese on. Very, very bland. And the homemade chips that came with the perch were the saltiest things ever salted. I couldn't eat them at all, had about three (they looked great) and realized my sodium level would spike off the charts if I ate any more.
