I had heard about this place from a friend, who is originally from the south, so when he was raving about it, I figured it was good. The place is a vibey dive. It has some cool art on the wall that is meant to do just that. They care much less about what you think of the place and way more about how good the food is! The gentlemen who run the place do a really nice job and got our food out to us really quick. They have tons of different options, including some really good hush puppies, some next level chicken and some really good pie desserts. Get there early because, as we found, they do run out of some of the pies. The chicken is masterful! From our time in the south, we learned that you shouldn't have to put anything on your chicken. Here....you don't have to put anything on the chicken! It's juicy, salty, southern chicken at its best. Paired with hush puppies and some fries, this makes you want more and want it now. The ribs were another must have. They were absolutely delicious! Falling off the bone and saucy to boot! Go here. Go early. Go chicken!

Chicken tenders were also amazing, crispy outside, juicy inside, and perfectly seasoned. Even the fries were addictive. I kept eating more even after I was already full. I really wanted to try more of the menu but just couldn't have another bite because I was too full. Definitely one of those places I'd happily come back to every time I'm in town.
