I came into this Winn-Dixie supermarket, located in River Towne Square, only for a small bottle of maraschino cherries. I need them for a pineapple upside down cake I'm baking at home. Man, how long has it been since I shopped at Winn-Dixie? A little over three years? Different location, but the place hasn't changed. There are many departments such as produce, bakery, deli, meat, and seafood that are filled with fresh products at reasonable prices. Not to mention the many aisles containing grocery, paper goods, health & beauty, pet care, and so much more. There are also various deals, weekend sales, and BOGOs throughout the supermarket. With New Year's quickly approaching, you know people are looking to stock up on a variety of alcoholic beverages. Here at Winn-Dixie, you will receive 10% off when you buy four or more bottles of wine. I did manage to find a small bottle of maraschino cherries. At checkout, I wasn't sure if my Winn-Dixie Rewards account was active, but the cashier told me that my phone number went through. Maybe I should start shopping here again for essentials. read more

I really liked this Winn Dixie store. It's very clean and spacious. Since they closed the branch near my house, I don't often shop at Winn Dixie. I forgot how many different brands and varieties they carry. Especially the international foods. Whereas some supermarkets have a portion of one aisle, this store had an entire aisle of foods from all over -- not just Hispanic, but Caribbean, Jewish, British, etc etc. I'm fascinated by all the choices. Their frozen foods -- at least what i looked at -- were a bit high priced. But if you can find their store brand or a generic brand, you can find some good buys. They also had a number of bogo buys -- one on progressive soups and one on some juice -- that we took advantage of... Since we don't shop in this area, I'm not sure how soon we will return. But I know when I'm looking for a specific item -- especially southern style -- I can come here and will find it. If you're looking for a change of pace from your usual publix run, here's an alternative. read more

Went in there and searched for something for about 15 minutes a manager named Gerald came up to us and asked if we needed any help. Had trouble finding the product we were looking for. Stopped what he was doing, and proceeded to call the inventory room to look up on the computer to see if they had said item after he couldn't find it.Great customer service. read more

First time going to this store, saw a sign of Red seedless grapes for 2.99lb but when I went to pay, the price was 3.49lb. When I asked the customer service lady she said "is because she didn't put her phone number" the sign doesn't say that the deal is for members only. Is this place like a costco or what? read more

I visited this location on 12/14 the store was closing soon and the girl who rang me up, whose name was D'nisha was being very unfriendly and was quickly grabbing my items. It was 20 mins before closing and I didn't see the prior customer being treated badly. Unfortunately, I had to void the transaction because I had to ring something up separately. D'nisha then tried to stare me down So that I wouldn't ask her to void the transaction. It was for a business so of course I couldn't leave it as is and it was an honest mistake. She then yelled at her manager to come over and void it. D'nisha then quickly came behind the counter and told me, excuse me and quickly had me move out of her way. I felt like I was targeted And discriminated against by this employee. Since the prior customer was treated fine and the minute I came, she immediately became hostile. Please teach your employees how to treat people not everyone has the option to come earlier and all people should be treated equal. read more

This place has been really-done and they do have great selections and very good prices! I think that the selection is much better than Publix. The meat is better and produce as well! 11/23/2018 visit to store. I was completely shocked when I ordered turkey from the deli and watched the deli clerk open a fresh package of Turkey on a cart that is used for making fried chicken that was still dirty with raw chicken and flour. She opened the package put the turkey back on their use the same scissors used for the chicken and then slice the meat. After she was finished you put the package of turkey back on the contaminated cart and that was enough for me. Why can't these stores train people in food safety? This review is on Winn Dixie gift card. I was given a Winn Dixie gift card for $50 on March 17, 2022. I went to use it at the Winn Dixie in Boca Raton for a grocery purchase. The card would not go through and I was told by management to phone the number on the back of the card and find out what happened. I did just that and was given a case number and asked to summit a photo of the card front and back along with the receipt . Five days later I was sent an email from Customer Care apologizing for any inconvenience and asked if I would like a replacement card in digital or physical? The digital I would receive the same day. I asked for the digital! Here it is April 6 and NO replacement card physical or digital. I called them to find out why and was told they are still "reviewing" it! I nor my husband will ever buy a Winn Dixie gift card again! Of all the different store gift cards we have used over the years we have never had this problem. Why does it take Winn Dixie so long to resolve this? Very bad business for their store gift cards they do not seem to value in making right for their customers. read more

She could not perform simple math and was not able to follow a promotion but seemed only interested in rebuking a potential customer. Will obviously never be back ti a Winn Dixie again. We need to stop blaming deficiencies and lack of professionalism on the pandemic. This Winn-Dixie's staff, managment and cashiers are all totally unprofessional and lacking training as well as common sense. Long lines at checkout, prices registered at checkout are different from prices labeled at the shelves, incredibly poor customer service. I'll never step a foot in this Winn-Dixie location again. I'd recommend Trader Joe's or ALDI near by; both provide a lot better service and much better products quality. read more

Very upset! Why close a department of the store over an hour prior to the store closing. The Deli was closed (with no sign) almost an hour and a half before the store closed. Customer service paged for an associate, no one showed up. I've worked in a grocery store in my youth and that was never the stores policy. What was more frustrating was many associates saw us standing waiting and didn't say a word. read more

I'm so surprised this does not have a higher rating. The quality for the price here is great. The BOGO deals coupled with the plenti points; saves a lot of money. I get here early on the weekend and the aisles are clear and I just cruise. The parking is easy to get in and out. This WD is clean inside. For anyone that is from up in the new england area; this particular Winn-dixie is like Market Basket. $150 worth of groceries here would definitely be double at Publix. My wife and I had a late night craving for cake and went to Winn-Dixie near our home. My wife got one from the refrigerated section, and when we returned home, we noticed that the slice of cake was molded with various types of mold. Luckily we were able to catch that, but the idea that anyone, including someone with a visual impairment or a child or a person with a disability who may not have noticed the mold is appalling. Can you imagine the health impact this could have had in an elderly person or the injuries this could have caused someone? What is more appalling is the idea that a large company, such as Winn-Dixie could have policies in place to sell such hazardous items is deeply concerning. What does this say about the refrigeration of other items? Are they hazardous as well? When I returned the cake to customer service the next day, the representative did not seem concerned in the least. The person just wrote mold on the box and handed me a gift card. I expressed my concerns about the mold, but the representative said nothing regarding it. After this, my family will no longer be consuming ANY items from the deli or bakery section. read more

I can't believe this place is still in business! One register was open with a line a mile long. Four other employees (and I hesitate to use the term "employee" because that would imply that the people were actually working...) were standing around doing absolutely nothing. Not an exaggeration! They should all be fired...or at least the manager should be replaced with someone who could possible actually manage the store. No wonder Winn Dixie is doing so poorly in their market. Also, the store was out of stock on several of the things that I went in for, which tells me the stock room staff doesn't work either! I am frustrated having had to go back inside and get the $1.00 off on not one but two items and having the wrong code entered on the produce purchased.
