I'm gonna be honest. I was really excited to try this place. I follow them on Instagram and saw the awesome drinks. So one day, after I finally get paid, I ordered via Grubhub, since ya girl is anti social, and got a Nutella latte, iced. And I got my Hubbie i think a white chocolate raspberry thing. Now the thing that upset was that I ordered it in advance, so I gave them a good 30 min time and when I ordered they said it would be ready at like say 11:15. We got there at 11:18 and when I asked my Hubbie to get it for us. He told me that they are just about to start on it. Like what the heck? And also the drinks werent the best. The coffee and food is great here, however am always on the go.. it's such slow service... you'd think being by the LIRR they'd get your drinks at a reasonable time. I've waited over 20 mins countless times. It's close by and I really do love the coffee and sandwiches l... this is why I'd go back, but come onnnnn get it together won't be time. My first and unfortunately my last time coming to this place. Nothing wrong with the service and the place is cute, however, the food is disgusting!! I ordered a pesto egg melt and it had 0 flavor. I didn't taste any arugula or pesto and i paid $8 for it. This was a sandwich I literally could have made myself by its presentation. French toast iced latte just tasted watered down with cinnamon and did not taste french toast flavored. I don't like my coffee sweet at all, but i didn't expect my $7 coffee to taste watered down. Maybe today was an off day for them or the barista was new, however, I definitely will not be returning! read more

Uber eats date: August 6, 2019 Who orders coffee from uber eats to get it delivered to work? This girl writing this review right here. I just have to have my coffee and many times I want a decent cup, not the dollar cups at work. So the lady who delivered my order must have thought that a few people chipped in together to order coffee, but no it was me, I was drinking ALL the coffee. I decided to try the nutella latte, peppermint mocha and half cold brew half chocolate milk. The nutella latte was great, very delicious, chocolately and sweet. The half cold brew, half chocolate milk was also very good. Both of those drinks were winners. The reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5 was because I wasn't a fan of the peppermint mocha. A peppermint coffee drink is hard. It depends on the syrup you use and how much of it you put into the drink. I don't know what kind of syrup they used but I ended up dumping the mocha. It was somewhat smooth but the mint syrup they used made me feel like I was drinking some toothpaste, it was just a little bit too much with the mint. Overall from my experience I'd say everything but the peppermint mocha is good, but I haven't gotten to try all the other drinks yet. I do like caffeine and hope to visit in person one day. read more

I've been dying to try this coffee house for months and finally did so this morning. I was definitely glad to try it, would absolutely go back. On a high note... I love the variety of flavors offered. I went in unsure if I wanted a latte or a cold brew... The woman behind the register was very patient in explaining different flavors and offering various suggestions. From the time of placing the order to the time my coffee was handed over to me, service was quick and friendly. I was however a bit shocked with the price of my drink. To be fairly more expensive than Starbucks was a bit of a shock... Yes the quality of the coffee was fantastic, but I would not be able to go in regularly and spend $8.50 on an iced coffee. I do feel strongly about supporting small businesses, especially when their product is great... But as someone who likes flavored coffee, every single pump or sauce is an added fee so while a plain coffee may only cost $4 or $5 based on size, flavored coffee (which is what is SO unique about this place) automatically jumps to $8-9 because you'd like flavor added. I will definitely be returning... but can't call this place an every day coffee spot as almost $9 for a single coffee is a bit outrageous. Too bad because the coffee really was SO delicious and refreshing! read more

Being that my car was in the shop, I placed an order through Uber eats and I highly regret it. Thought they would be just as good as they are in person but it's actually really horrible. Ordered two bacon egg and cheeses with two coffees and it's been well over and hour, not too mention they actually have the delivery driver waiting for more than 30 minutes. Everything about this place is great! They make wonderful coffee, espresso drinks and even bake their own muffin tops and scones. I can't even tell you how amazing the cinnamon chip scone is - like heaven melting in your mouth. It is our favorite place to go before heading on the train but also a place we frequent on weekends with the kids. It has a nice inviting atmosphere and very friendly staff. I love this little space that has the best aromas of great coffee when you enter. They have wonderful exotic coffees luscious muffins and even yogurt. My fave is a dark roast "misto" which is the Italian version of cafe au lait. Can't wait till spring when they put some tables and umbrellas outside. Got iced dark chocolate/guava coffee, which was delicious both times, (well mixed, perfect color); they are very attuned to *exactly* what the customers want!! Last time got a Portuguese Custard Tart / Pastel de Ninho, suggested by another customer, and an overnight chia oats with berries. Both were phenomenal!! Today, got avocado toast on freshly baked bread with a fresh egg that they cooked to order; I think the man that works there may be a chef, it was so delicious!! The avocado spread was made fresh, as well, and had the crunch of some purple fresh onions inside the avocado mix & a bright lemony flavor. It tasted perfect. The people that work there are very kind to their customers and really attentive to making things exactly to order; they make you want to go back. The place is small and intimate and has a really nice vibe. They also source different mini pastries, etc. from a local bakery to keep the small business market thriving, and also bake some of their own fresh items that are super creative and look very good. Their coffee has a nice flavor to it and they have all kinds of coffee machines I suppose for iced, hot, espresso, etc. Finally, they have the Square system that lets you pay with card and the receipt can go to your email. Certified coffee snob This place is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly, they work well as a team and create an enjoyable experience. The place is small in size but has a great atmosphere, from the colorful chalk board to the beastie boys quotes. Most importantly the coffee is awesome, in modern terms af. They have a good selection of standard coffee as well as a few unique exotic flavors and surprisingly amazing bagels! They have a good collection of tea and random healthy snacks. I am thrilled that there is an independent mom n pop coffee spot in Oceanside! It was sorely needed. This place is small but mighty. For my first visit I decided to try one of their "signature flavored lattes." I went with an iced white hazelnut...such a treat! It was that take a first sip "ahhhh" moment all coffee hounds are looking for. I noticed they had a lot of scrumptious fresh baked goods and healthy grab and go snacks, perfect to take on the train.
