I was searching for a hairstylist experienced with Asian hair and I came across Saria. I messaged through Yelp to book my appointment, response came within a day and I was able to secure an appointment within a week. I'd recommend sharing your availability in the comments if you choose to book through Yelp. She does not do walk ins as she has only one chair. This being my first time, I did get a little lost coming in. Google placed me in the right parking lot, which there is plenty of free parking. I was looking for Wisdom Salon and Spa and noticed the address had a unit number. After walking into Sola Salons, take a right and you'll walk right into unit 17. Saria welcomed me in right away and she consulted with what I was looking for. My hair was past my shoulders and I wanted to bring up the length, add in some light layers and face framing in the front. As she cut, she'd ask for my opinion making sure I was getting what I wanted. Cut took about an hour from consultation, cut and payment (tap to pay available). Time flew by as Saria was so kind, thoughtful and a great conversationalist. She took the before and after photos in this review and I could see she was proud of her own work too. She truly enjoys what she does from haircuts to dying hair. Especially if you've got Asian hair, Saria is your gal! She does do men's cuts too, which I can't attest too obviously. I had a great experience with Saria. I requested a butterfly cut with balayage with no bleach. Butterfly cut is challenging to execute but Saria knew exactly how to cut it. Also I asked for a subtle balayage and it came out beautifully. I had the CBD Pedicure by Vy initially and a manicure by Aileen which led me to schedule a massage with Vy, the pedicure was an hour and 15 minutes with an included massage which is a great way to introduce you to Vy"s talents. In regards to my beautiful sparklly hands, each finger is perfection, Aileen is great. The salon is huge, I mean BIG. You could have both sides of a huge bridal party in here if that was your pleasure. It was spotless and I mean immaculately clean. When I walked in the workers looked surprised as if they didn't even know about my appointment - how are you not aware of your appointments?? Then they said they were a bit behind so I waited 30 min but at that point they had JUST washed out someone's color and were NOW beginning that person's haircut. I took a chance and tried out this new salon during their Grand Opening weekend. I immediately liked what I saw when I walked in the door. It's very nicely decorated and I noticed good quality hair products all around. When I sat down for my haircut, my stylist was easy to talk to and we made sure we both agreed on the cut. She took her time to be nice and precise with the cut. It looks so much better. Next up, I had my eyebrows waxed. Once again, I was happy to be walked into a clean area and the lady took her time to try and tame my unruly brows. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and the prices were great.
