09.22.16 I decided to try this place and ordered take out for a medium Godfather Supreme for me and hubby and a medium cheese pizza for the girls. Our pizza had a lot of fresh ingredients evenly placed in the pizza. The sauce was flavorful, not too sweet and not too tart and just the right amount. The crust was thick on the edges but not too thick in the middle so it held the ingredients up well without being too doughy in taste or texture. It reminded us of an old pizza place we used to frequent in Temecula with their "Redhawk Special". The girls were split on their review of their cheese pizza. Little O ate three slices and liked it a lot. H said it was just okay. She said the cheese they used didn't taste the best compared to other pizzas she's had. I think hubby and I will be back for The Godfather Supreme and maybe come out for the "Steal the Glass" nights on Tuesday's. read more

For postmates to place a order and it took literally over 35 minutes to get ready I watched order after order be placed and gone I still sat there for 1 pizza garlic knots and salad whaaat? Then I watched the pizza sitting there. With the two salads and was told another 10 minutes for the garlic knots how was that not on the oven the same time as the pizza I mean come on. Very good pizza! We had it delivered and it came within an hour as promised. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and it was good but way too spicey! The Godfather pizza was delicious. Great pizza crappy service!! 1 hour for a second soda is pathetic. I stood at the bar for 10-15 minutes until I got discouraged, I even blocked the entrance to the back of the bar and they just walked around the long way through the kitchen...LOL.. It is like they went out of there way to make it a point not to serve me. I stood 3 ft away from the bar tender with my empty cup and he would not even look at me? Servers walked past our table and never offered me a refill while they were serving other tables repeatedly. They absolutely ignored me like I was not there... Maybe it was my biker vest, who knows. Maybe no bikers should even go there again. Another patron even said that he saw me so I existed lol... . To bad I didn't exist to the servers. I finally just left realizing that I was not going to get any service. While I waited for my soda there were only about 6 of us inside once a large crowd came in to two reserved tables I knew at that point that if I had no service before them I would get nothing now. Go elsewhere if you want decent decent service while paying higher prices. That's what we did, my riding friend and myself finally just left to go watch the games somewhere else where I can get a soda!! Sad part about this is that my wife and sister-in-law go there all the time after riding their horses and they got the same lack of service as myself... Other than service, a few issues that were not great... Gnats!!! Lots of Gnats.. Drains need to be cleaned. A beer got spilled on the floor and they never even bothered to come clean it up. They saw it happen and just ignored it. Last thing, there was some larger red head young man filling containers of Ranch Dressing by dipping a cup into a large vat of the dressing using his bare hands and his fingers were covered with the Ranch. The food was really good but their are some downsides. We ordered some food and it took about 25 minutes to finally come. My friends had to go up to ask them for the food. The service was not good either. Before we got the food the people that ordered 5 minutes after us got their food first and they ordered more stuff. Get better service please read more

I love this place. I've been several times and it's always busy but quick. You can tell everyone works together to give customers the best possible experience. Everyone is very nice and patient. This is a great place to eat/drink and catch up with friends. It can get crowded during prime hours. When it's crowded it is difficult to hear people sitting next to you because of the echo in the restaurant. But if you can get over it, it's an awesome place to eat. Wise Gals BBQ pizza is now my favorite pizza in all of Orange County! This pizza is a blend of my favorite type of pizza - BBQ chicken and my favorite type of salad - Southwestern Chicken. Pizzas here are pretty good. Hubs and I had a half Milan and half Pizza Bianco on a thin crust with an order of the hot wings. I would pass on the hot wings. The description sounded delish but it wasn't all that. We've been here a few times before and have gotten the regular loaded pizzas. We thought the crust was too much so we got thin crust this time. Their version of thin crust isn't really that thin but the loaded toppings were too overwhelming for the crust. I really like their specialty pizza options. The caramelized onions are great and their other topping options are definitely high quality. They have a great selection of beer on tap. We had Palomino Pale Ale and Allagash White this time- both beers that you don't see on tap often. Service was somewhere between ok and good. read more

I just died and went to heaven! Ok we took a trip to Irvine Park the. My bf Yelps this pizza spot, we arrive and everything is old western looking from the outside. The inside is spacious and smells delicious. Inside decor is more italian mobster stuff. Let's talk about food, I chose the meats and extras for my calzone. We ordered medium and underestimated this giant delicious thing. It was huge!!! We killed most of it only because it was sooo good. My son got a little guide pizza which was also gooey with cheese and flavorful pepperoni. Best calzone ever it truly hit the spot. My bf got the chicken Parm half size and he also enjoyed that. My bf is a thin guy and he ate that sandwich and two pieces of calzone. I have never seen him eat that much before that's how good it was. At firsts my bf didn't understand why the calzone was $20 but after we saw the size packed with fresh delicious ingredients we knew it was worth it. I felt like I was on Man Vs Food when I saw it haha. I said Oh my God out loud I couldn't help it. The staff is nice and helpful. If I lived closer this would be my new pizza place but it's half an hour away and now I realize I am bummed out because of this lol. Considering the popularity of pizza there is no shortage of places to buy good pizza. Wise Guys Pizzeria follows the standard formula. Lunch special that are under $10. Pizza by the slice, pizza in the usual sizes, various pasta, soft drinks and beer are all offered. There is no soft drink fountain available to customers. You are refilled by staff from a fountain in the bar. There is outdoor seating that is not too noisy. The pizza and pasta are very good. It is not "over the top good" but considering their price target and business volume its better than you would expect. In my experience service is pretty fast although I have not eaten there during peak hours. All in all I can recommend Wise Guys. read more

They serve great beers here! So glad my friends introduced me to this restaurant! Casual & laid back, friendly servers, great service, and delicious pizza!! We arrived here in a large group (9 ppl total) ordered the garlic knots, 2 liters of lemonade, 3 medium sized pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, and the bbq gangster). We were only able to finish 1.75 pizzas and half the garlic knots! We probably should have only ordered 2 medium pizzas!! Larger than we had expected, but the taste of all three were amazing. The cheese, doughy goodness, perfectly baked crust, and high quality toppings were certainly memorable! Look forward to coming back!! The only complaints I had were that the tables and chairs were a bit dirty and the bathroom was a bit unkempt, but that's about it. It finally ended as a pleasant experience. After several errors were made on both our orders..the mistakes were quickly corrected with a replacement on one (chicken parmesan sandwich) which was delicious! Most impressive were the apologies by the server, Kathleen as well as the gentleman exchanging the incorrect order that came to our table to correct the problem. Most attentive and apologetic was the manager, Bailey whose profuse apologies and gift card made the mistakes easy to forget. Disappointed. Went last week to pick up some pizza, salad and knots. Was not a good visit. Food of course took longer than they say it will take so I stood around and waited and waited giving me lots of time to observe the employees working behind the counter. I counted 2 persons in the way back wearing masks, everyone else was maskless and not wearing gloves while touching food, mainly, the ones making knots to be baked. Didn't seem very hygienic since she was also doing other things out of my view near the registers, without washing her hands or getting new or just her fist pair of gloves. In this day of covid I would think and would like to see the staff who are in the front wearing masks and either gloves or proper hand washing procedures implemented and enforced. This sends a really bad message to the customers that they don't care and wondering what else is not being done to keep food safe. The pizza was a miss too. Used to be the best pizza in Tustin/Orange/North Tustin - Quality on sharp decline. We have been ordering or dining in almost once a week from Wise Guys since they opened. At the beginning, just awesome. Then for a while, the service went down on delivery/pickup with extremely long and unreliable times. Also, problem with order accuracy. Then it seemed like things improved (over the past year). Now, the last 4 or 5 times we have had pizza, we have found the quantity of ingredients seems to be decreased and the overall quality seems to be diminishing. I hope that the owners will see this review and investigate. We are paying a premium price for a pizza that is beginning to taste like Little Caesars. This restaurant is in our neighborhood and so we love the vibe of a local hang out. That said, the kitchen can't handle the capacity of the restaurant. We've been coming here for several years and over time we've seen the consistency and operations decline. Tonight, we ordered garlic knots (they're usually pretty good), which is typically an appetizer. We got the salad, we got the pasta, never got the garlic knots. Told the food runner about it, told the manager about it (who told us "it's only going to be about 3-4 minutes longer"). 25 min later, and long after we finished, we gave up. We got our money back, and then the order shows up -- and the knots didn't even look cooked. We declined them and moved on. They need to step up their game or their reputation will take hit. read more
