Back again and wanted to drop a quick update to recommend the Korean Chicken slice - it's excellent!

Wiseguy Pizza is a great spot in Rosslyn! Came here for lunch and got two slices - the Panner Tikka and the Buffalo Chicken. As a girl who loves a good Indian fusion slice, this one was delicious and quite authentic in terms of the spices. I also enjoyed how flavorful the Buffalo Chicken was - very savory and saucy. The service was top notch! So kind and got our slices out so quick. The ambiance itself has smaller indoor seating, but their are seats outdoor as well. Solid Wiseguy Pizza spot!

Wiseguy's has been a MUST stop for me and my friends since we all moved to the DMV. Every night out in DC always ended on Wiseguy's and for that reason alone there is some level of sentimental value. We have laughed at wiseguy, we have had a drunk binge eating moments at wiseguy and we have NOT cried at wiseguy because rEaL mEn dO nOt CrY. My favorite slices are Korean Chicken, Nashville Hot Chicken, Paneer Tikka, Chicken Paneer and some of the plain cheese ones. This is your spot to grab a good quality slice with flavors that are outside of the norms. 4.2/5

I used to go to their Chinatown location all the time back in my college days, so when I passed this Wiseguy Pizza in Rosslyn I just had to stop. I ordered my all-time favorite, the Margherita pizza, and got lucky because it came out fresh from the oven. The crust was perfectly crispy, the mozzarella was generous, and it tasted so good. Definitely brought back some great memories.

We had an office pizza party and ordered many boxes (7?) of various pizzas. I started with my usual slice of cheese. It was really good! This ex-Jersey girl was not ready to like it so much that I went in for another slice- this time pepperoni. Also delicious! The warm chocolate chip cookie was also good. I didn't try the bread. Hope the office uses this place again!!!

My favorite pizza in the dmv. If you like saucy, thin crust with lots of toppings, this is the place. I love that you can try so many different options since you buy by the slice. There's tons of different options, including vegan too. Great for a quick eat, not too much seating, but it works in a pinch.

Great place to grab a slice and go somewhere else. Ambiance was typical New York, limited seating inside (4 seats) and a couple of tables outside. Service as helpful and with smiles. Pizza was very good. Tremendous variety in pies! Wonderful meal deals as well.

Pizza by the slice-- $4.50. The portion is ridiculous!
    Tessa A.

Major disappointment! I ordered pizza by the slice and at $4.50 per slice, I assumed it would be a generous, jumbo-sized portion. Unfortunately, my assumptions were incorrect. The slice was no larger than one you would get from a standard whole pie. On top of that, the pizza was very watery and the cheese tasted rubbery. The crust was hard and not edible. Safe to say, I won't be returning!

Ive visited a few times and the experience has been amazing. The staff are welcoming and friendly. I also love that you can select a slice of pizza vs a whole pie. Ive tried the Chicken Paneer, Buffalo, and Korean Chicken. The best way to sum it up is FLAVORFUL. All the pizzas Ive tried are flavorful. I feel like it's a meal on pizza. The protein is flavorful the sauces are flavorful. I feel Im overusing that word, but it's the best way to describe them. The paneer pizza is my go to it has a sauce that takes the pizza over the top. Also I wasn't sure about cabbage on pizza, but it works on the Korean Chicken pizza. That extra crunch creates great unexpected texture. Also the garlic knots are soft, chewy and full of garlic. Highly recommend. I also like that you can try a small portion of items. 1 garlic knot or 1 pizza roll. It is more of a carryout location because there is limited seating out front.

Walked in randomly on a trip to DC and saw this NY style pizza place, I was pleasantly surprised! $5 slices, thin, crispy, and flavorful! The chicken paneer masala with that green sauce was so dang good! The only reason I took off a star is a tried their square slice, and it was okay for me, very doughy, sauce and pepperoni didn't have too much flavor. Go straight for the classic NY style slices!

An easy to miss spot in the middle of Rosslyn, Wiseguy Pizza really surprised me with its excellent service and delicious food. Specifically the Chicken Paneer Slice, which packed a bit more heat than I was expecting. The heat was a fantastic addition to the textured and flavors I also didn't expect, but was so happy to find. The buffalo chicken Stromboli was good, but it didn't hold a candle to the slice of perfectly cooked za that came before it. Get yourself a slice or two, and enjoy some fantastic flavor in the heart of a bustling Rosslyn, right off the metro. It's a cute little location, so keep your eyes peeled!

The best pizza in town! Wiseguy Pizza is hands-down amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp crust, fresh toppings, and that authentic flavor that only comes from a truly great pizzeria. Every slice was perfection! The wait time was impressively short, which is always a bonus ! The cookies! They were a fantastic surprise--soft, sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal. If you're looking for a place that serves incredible pizza with quick service, Wiseguy Pizza is the spot. I'll definitely be back!

A Modo Mio offers many food specials. For example, on Tuesdays, that's when we stopped there for…read moredinner, all their pasta dishes are 1/2 price. However, given that they ranked 32nd among this country's top 50 Pizza restaurants, I had to order a pizza. And I'll get to my pizza after I discuss some other things, because it all plays together. Also, during my visit, I kept drawing comparisons between this place and Pupatella, a local Neapolitan pizza juggernaut. The Big Question to answer is why A Modo Mio got a spot on the Top 50 while Pupatella didn't even make the cut. Access is easy, and parking is good. There are lots of spaces that wrap around the restaurant. That's in contrast to Pupatell, which has limited parking and where I always wind up using the Safeway lot across the street. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. It also has a long, well-stocked bar where you can sit to enjoy a beverage or a meal. Pupatella doesn't have any of that. When you arrive, you're greeted by a host who shows you to your seat. A very short while later, a waiter shows up and does all the things waiters do. At Pupatella, you wait in line to place your order, then find an open table. TLDR: Your dining experience, outside of the food, is much more civilized and relaxing at A Modo Mio. The pie that earned their 32 out of 50 ranking was the Sicilia. But I ordered a 12" Casertana because I'm not crazy about eggplant and like sausage. The pie arrived a short while later, piping hot and loaded with sausage. The taste was sublime and delicious. My only complaint was that the basil was added before baking, and I prefer that herb when it's not reduced to ash. So back to The Big Question, is the A Modo Mio pizza *that* much better than Pupatella that it earned a spot amongst the Top 50 while the other one didn't even make the cut? Frankly, it's not. It is good pizza... possibly great pizza. But that's also true of the other place. What sets A Modo Mio apart from that other place, and the answer to the Big Question, is that the criteria for generating the Top 50 list included more than the pizza. It also took into account: - Hospitality and Service - Ambiance - Beverage Program. Beyond the pizza, A Modo Mio has those things in abundance, while the other place pretty much has none. TLDR: Comparing pizzas side by side, the two places are on par. However, if you take into account the entire dining experience, you will be much happier with your pizza here, as opposed to that other place or most other pizza restaurants in the DMV area.

I made a mistake and didn't realize this was a fork and knife establishment. I picked up my pizza and all the toppings fell off. But to be honest... even with "fork and knife pizza" the toppings should not be goopy and slippery. Does the best pie and Arlington hold like that on the regular? Nothing special about the toppings either. The crust and dough were the best part of this experience, but an amazing pie, should have all component's complimenting each other. Is it decent pizza? Yes. Best pizza in Arlington? I don't think so.

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

The place is very moodily charming because you're on a basement level with no natural light, so everything is dark and the vibe is Italian grandma kitsch. The whole thing manages to work. They were busy, and our waitress, who was highly professional (honestly she seemed like she could be a government employee) was being pulled to some VIP table in their back room (which we were seated adjacent to), so she was not as available as we would have liked. We got a couple cocktails and started with the Caesar salad and the meatballs. For a place that boasts about its portion sizes, there were only two meatballs, and they were fine. The free bread wasn't impressive, especially considering the extraordinary bread situation that we had at The Dip the previous evening. The salad was undersalted and kinda bland. So, overall, not the most promising beginning. We all shared the one main dish of Linguini Cardinale after our waitress sold us on it. It's sort of like a vodka sauce that mated with lobster, and it was delicious, but it was quite rich and heavy. We did like it though. Dessert was where we went all out with the strawberry cheesecake, the pistachio strawberry mousse cake, and the dark chocolate mousse cake. The one that had pistachio was terrible--everything tasted artificial and the texture wasn't right. The chocolate one was OK. Luckily the cheesecake was where it was at. It's not Junior's-level or anything, but compared to the other two, it stood out. We're glad we came here to have tried it once and we had a good time as a family, so it'll be a fond memory. We don't feel a pressing need to return, but we would recommend it for folks to try once.
