I think the pizza here is solid. My slice of pizza was tasty. I was greeted upon entry and I did not have to wait long for my food. It's a small shop so you pretty much take your food to go.

So I was out Pentagon City again on a school trip so I decided to give Wiseguy pizza a try. Unfortunately it wasn't a wise one. Mostly because the customer service was terrible. I was there when they first opened at 11am thinking that would result in fresh pizza nice & hot prepared pizza. But instead I was meant with a very unfriendly woman that pretty much seemed like she didn't want to be at work this day. So after a failed conversation with her about the pizzas I just settled on 2 slices of cheese pizza. The pizza was fair not the worst I've had but also not the type that would make me come back here anything soon.

The food is amazing! We're pretty picky about our pizza, but the taste was spot on. The service? Phenomenal! I didn't quite get the older gentlemen's name, but he's a really friendly host, certainly made the trip worth it. During our visit, they were also playing spanish music which really made it feel home while we enjoyed our lunch. 10/10 experience, and can't wait to bring my family along with me for some pizza when they come into town!

The crust is very New Yorkish. Which I love. Not the best pizza but definitely not terrible. The cheese could be better quality and the sauce is weak. If I'm in the area I would grab a pie. But wouldn't drive out my way. This review is for cheese pizza.

Not exactly sure why this place has 3 stars, but I absolutely love wiseguy's pizza. The slices are pretty pricey, but I rather do this over Tony's any day. Perfect amount of sauce, not too salty or greasy. Just right. They are typically very quick with the warm up process too and you can customize your own. My absolute favorite is the chicken paneer, so tasty and I love the masala sauce with green chili sauce on it. After they warm it up for you, you're able to throw olive oil, orégano, garlic salt, parm, and chili flakes. The soda options are also cool and free refills. My only thing is I would loveeeee the mushroom truffle and buy it every day if it didn't have goat cheese. I feel like it's such a strong flavor and takes away from the truffle and mushrooms. This location is right across the street from pentagon city mall. Not a great location for drivers, but right above the metro escalators.

As a gluten free person - this place is such a great option! You can make any of their signature pizzas (or make your own) gluten free. It was absolutely delicious and my friend and I who are both gluten free had 0 reaction. The slight downside is the GF takes slightly longer to make - but totally worth it to me. Service was still wonderful! The ambiance is also cute and it's in a great location. There's both indoor and outdoor seating (limited, but you could also take it to go).

Small place with quick service to give you some really good pizza. The chicken paneer pizza was great. 10 crust. No flop. 9/10 for toppings. Overall a great pizza right out of the oven. I loved it. The mushroom truffle slice had some flop and wasn't crunchy 8/10 crust. Still tasty crust just wish it was lighter with more crunch. The toppings were a 10/10. Loved that part. Overall still a good pizza. Will come back here to try other slices. Loved the service and the flavors.

I honestly think I tried this place last year also and had the same reaction, "damn, this pizza is not bad at all." I most recently tried this place out one rainy evening that I arrived in pentagon city mall too late to get the quick meal that I went out for as the majority of places in the mall close at 8pm. I crossed the street to find some later eats and saw "Pizza" and knew it couldn't be bad idea. There was plenty of pies readily chopped up into slices and ready for the taking and I chose the pepperoni and sausage option which I believe was called the Godfather. It was really good and I'm writing this review about a week or so later with intentions on going back this evening. Don't skip this place when you're in the area.

I hit up Wiseguys at the recommendation of a friend, and that suggestion did not disappoint. The pizza was very solid; I got a Pepperoni slice, a Chicken Bacon Ranch slice, and garlic knots. It wasn't mind blowing, and initially I was gonna give it 3 stars, but the CBR slice is what took it over the hump to 4 stars. My friends know I largely despise ranch on anything, but I couldn't tell there was ranch on that slice. Definitely adding them to my Pizza By the Slice lineup

Don't worry- I accidentally took a bite before I remembered I wanted to leave a review. Lol but I ordered DoorDash from here on a Sunday night and it took a while to get to me so it was cold but I just warmed it up again. Pizza tasted delicious and the Paneer pizza was so unique and different. The only complaint I have is that the crust was a little too crunchy for me but overall I enjoyed the pizza. I have some family coming into town soon so I will be sure to bring them here to try the Paneer pizza.

Simply amazing! Best pizza place in pentagon city. Super delicious and always fresh. Very unique taste and a big variety for vegetarians. It's always my Togo place. They have excellent staff who are always very kind and welcoming specially Cynthia Guillermo. I don't go to any other place since I tried their pizza. NYC style with a much better quality and taste. They also have a nice ambient and a seating area outdoors. Their paneer pizza is to die for! Please give it a try! They are the best and they deserve 5 stars certainly!

Stopped in at Wiseguy to grab a slice for lunch and wasn't to impressed with the pizza. They have several specialty pizzas you can try that are unique. I got the Korean chicken pizza and the toppings were great. I wasn't impressed with the crust, it was hard and crunchy. This is definitely a to go spot, there isn't much indoor seating and they have some benches outside you can sit at. I did enjoy the garlic knot that I had. They just need to work on their pizza

They were an alright pizza joint. Definitely better then some of the other pizza spots in the area. The crust and bread was not soft more on the crunchy side. The pepperoni was yummyyy!

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were huge. My biggest regret was not taking pictures, but I guess that just shows how excited I was to eat! We started with delicious warm bread and pesto, and then we ordered the Linguine Cardinale and Vitello alla Marsala, both of which were incredible. The restaurant is old school and dark and dim but has charm. It's the type of place that's dingy and hasn't changed in years and that's the appeal. I got the vodka sauce rigatoni and the two sausage links. The sauce itself came with tiny sausage pieces lodged in the sauce so technically you could go for the chicken as your protein instead. The sauce was good and rich but overall just a touch salty for me. The complimentary bread was good and fluffy and they give you the pesto oil but don't eat too much because the pasta portion is huge! Truly an iconic place to eat where famous people have dined before.
