As I was putting my dog back in the car this woman runs out after 15 mins saying they didn't hear me. If they didn't hear me, how did they know I was leaving??? This past weekend was the deal breaker for us. We get there, no one is at the front desk. I ring the bell 6 times, yell HELLO is anyone here and nothing. We stood there like 15/20 mins...all we smelled was weed in the front office. It was like someone was having or someone had a party in there. I put my dog back in the car and we left. It seems he may have the wrong kennel considering the information that i know. My husband and i have purchased not one, not two, but FIVE dogs from the Hunters. Yes FIVE! Not to mention my mom and dad have purchased three and my sister in law purchased two! Yes thats a total of TEN dogs my family has purchased and been extremely pleased with. Of course we wouldn't have continued if for some reason we were told by our veterinarian that they have any type of genetic disorders or disease. Never have we had a crypt or mono orchid dog, never have we experience any sight issues. In fact most have been in the show ring, and won. My moms dog is a champion dock diver! My dog is trained in protection. My dads dog is used as a hearing alert dog, my nephews dog is a autism dog and used to calm him, my dog is certified PTSD dog. So, to say we have been pleased with our purchases is an understatement. In fact, I recommend the Hunters to everyone wanting a quality dog, not to mention if you need anything or have questions they are always will to help. So if your looking to purchase a new partner, high quality working dog, or all around great pet you should not read false reviews, instead take it from someone who has had extensive experience with the breeders. Our vet (who is well known and highly respected in our town) has made comments, on multiple occasions, about their incredible health condition. These dogs are top quality and I challenge anyone looking for a German Shepherd breeder to find one better than Kellie and Erik. In addition to breeding amazing dogs, they offer training for obedience and protection. We just left our first session and the difference in our dogs in just a matter of two hours is INCREDIBLE. Kellie and Erik know their stuff, they love the breed, and they want to educate and empower others who are passionate about the breed as well. We love shepherds. My husband and I have owned four and I can honestly say we will never work with anyone besides Kellie and Erik. As for the review about an umbilical hernia aka an "outie" belly button .. with a little guidance and information from a reputable vet, you will find that it is a minor condition that can be corrected very simply at the time of spaying or neutering your puppy. Based on the date that review was posted, I can say with almost 100% certainty that our second puppy from Kellie and Erik was from that same litter and there has been no issue at all with her. Bottom line, if you are passionate about German Shepherds, are knowledgeable about the breed, and are looking for a top quality pet or protection dog, you don't need to look any further than Kellie and Erik.

I do not know what happened but they are no longer a place I would recommend. They not only butchered my yorkiepoo's hair and left him with a few scabs, they called me the next day (I believe one of the owners, a male) told me they choose who they do business with and since I am upset about my puppy's cut then I should not bring him there anymore and he hung up. I will be reporting this business to the better business bureau and continue to spread the word.

I've gotten some good vet referrals for various things from them and Missy told me about a lipoma that grew in 6 months. I had been watching it for 18 months but it had enlarged noticeably so surgery was scheduled because of the location of the lipoma. I wouldn't take my dog to any other groomer. I've tried plenty of groomers and was not happy. Side note: Missy's daughter Sam left the shop years ago. Missy is the owner of Paws and Pearls.
