The Curiosity Room was a fun and interactive escape room. This was my first and it was pretty cool! Parking: there is some parking on the side of the street and I believe there is a parking structure nearby. Time: it does tell you to be there at least 10 minutes earlier. If majority of the group is there, I believe they will continue and stick to schedule. There's no refund if you cancel within 24 hours. Overall: the group includes only 6 individuals. Teamwork and communication is key. I'm not going to spoil the room but it is creepy. My friends have been to escape rooms and they even though that this one was scary. I recommend going to this escape room! Also, if you buy through their site, use the promo code BIG-TEN and you'll get $10 off each ticket. Cheaper than groupon! This is the second escape room I've completed before, and it was a great time! It's very interactive, some pieces you have to physically locate in the room, others you have to unlock using smarts. We were warned that this was somewhat different than other escape rooms and yes that's true, but it was still very fun! So it's not like the typical find everything, come together, and figure it out. It was more like following a story line with riddles that would guide you in the right direction. It was definitely different from what I'm used to but it was very enjoyable. The puzzles themselves were at about a medium difficulty with a few challenging ones. (According to a group that's done at least 25+ rooms). However that's just my own opinion so it may seem easier or harder to others (it's different for everyone!). I loved the immersion that included some very creative clue delivery, decor, and other effects regarding light and sound/music. My favorite part was the clapping monkey who helps a ton! Our game master was Aiden who was very upbeat and quirky who got us very pumped for the room. He was also very thorough when telling us the rules as well as what we should expect and how to use our tools which was extremely helpful. Overall, I had high expectations for the room and they were met! I had a ton of fun (with my group of 5) and while I tend to steer away from creepy themed rooms, I genuinely enjoyed this one!! This escape room was creepy . The effects were chilling and eery. The story plot leading into the room was a tiny bit cheesy, but as we were let into the room and began to decipher the clues, I was quickly impressed. The clues were intriguing . And were given in a succession and each compounded on the next clue .Using the "tools" played a big role in helping . This escape room was super fun and it was even better than we imagined. I had a great time this past weekend doing this escape room. I've done 3-4 escape rooms before so I had some expectations. The theme was a little creepy at first, but very detailed and thought out. I also enjoyed the gadgets that was involved. Difficulty level is a 3.75 out of 5. The hints were very helpful and encouraging. It felt good to be able to leave this place having solved the puzzle. To begin, I thought the employees that greeted us were very engaging and sweet. It's nice when the employees get into the theme without being intimidating. I thought they did a great job! I really enjoyed this escape room because it mixed the excitement of finding clues with a scary, paranormal theme! The ambiance was pretty scary with all the moving dolls and the antique decor, combined with the eerie flickering lights! Definitely not for the faint of heart! The only reason I left out one star was for the time periods where all the lights went out and we could only rely on the flashlight. It was difficult to keep searching for clues with a group of six and only one light to rely on. Either way, we had a blast! I only wish there were more themed rooms to choose from!! read more

Neat place, not what I expected at all. There were two of us, so we were added to a group of 4. They had the flashlight, and we had the pk meter, which was supposed to be used to scan for ghosts, but I used it as another source of light. Seriously, this place is dark!!! It's one big room, and one other small side room. The story is fun, and easy to get into it. You really have to huddle up to other members of your group to read through everything (remember, only 1 flashlight), so it makes getting along with your team all the more important. They also have small hints that can help guide you on your way, if you listen closely. Overall, super fun and cute for my first escape room! read more
