Best haircut of my life, I do not exaggerate!! Friends loved it as well as dates and I was finally able to take off my winter hat :)

Walked in to get a regular haircut and a beard trim...to the tune of $82!!!! I should have looked at the prices more closely. It seems like the barber put the tip in himself cause he didn't ask for a tip (all included, he said). This is the most expensive cut I have ever had and I'll never go back there again, and recommend that others stay away. I don't appreciate a barber putting the tip in himself. We popped in here so my boyfriend could get a quick haircut and beard trim. Benny was the barber that cut his hair and WOW! This guy took his time to make sure all the lines were perfect and to make sure the length was what he wanted. It was the BEST haircut and beard trim I've ever seen. Don't hesitate just walk in the neighborhood barber shop with music, bright colors, amazing local art. They had a friendly, joyful environment. Reasonably prices too. My hair is a little difficult to cut and style the way i like it, especially my last barber didnt do a great job. Recent transplant to NYC, I walked by and to check the place out and they were able to schedule me in for a haircut the same day to accommodate my work schedule. Not only were the prices affordable but the service was great. Finding new barbers can make you nervous, but this place felt like the right choice from the start. The owner cut my hair to the exact way I like with minimal instruction and with precision. He even tightened up the lines on my beard to make it look on point. He took time and made very precise cuts. It turns out to be the best haircur I've got for $25. Both my mom and wife like it. Been here 4X now and I am a big fan of this barbershop. In this neighborhood, there tends to be two types of barbershops -1. high end and expensive 2. mediocre and cheap. The Wize Gize creates a high end experience with more reasonable prices. They have quality barbers who are great with a straight edge. It's a clean & welcoming space. You can expect a hot towels, premium hair product, and fast and friendly service. If you are willing to pay $30-35 for a great haircut, this is the place for you. My boyfriend was going to a place in meatpacking that charged him $150 per cut without tip.. Last night he told me the past 3 times he has gone to get a haircut it has been at the place two blocks down. He literally pays 1/3 to goto these guys and the haircut is the same if not better and he tells me they actually take longer on his hair, a place like that needs to be reviewed. read more
