    Partial menu showing lunch special.

I just had a horrible experience when I tried to order a lunch special. I called in and ordered L10 Schzeuan Chicken - Lunch special. I was charged the full a la carte $19.47 instead of 10.99 plus tax. When I asked why I was not charged the lunch special amount the employee, who appeared to be the owner, simply said we don't have Szechuan Chicken as part of the lunch special which is a blatant lie as you can see from the image of the menu, "L10.Szechuan Chicken" - I am glad I went inside and picked up a menu. He also tried to cut a deal by asking, is it okay if I give $6 discount and you keep the order. I said okay but while he was trying to process the refund I went inside and saw the menu which clearly has Szechuan chicken as the lunch special. Stay away!

Sweet & sour chicken (sauce on side), chkn lo mein, chkn rice noodles, orange chkn, egg rolls, s&s sauce on the side.

5 stars for having a drivethru for order pick ups!! This was our first visit and we thought it was reasonably priced considering how much food we got with each dish (about $75, not including tip). We had eggrolls, egg drop soup, orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken, chicken lo mein, and rice noodles. All were as expected, except the orange chicken wasn't very flavorful, even though it looked well seasoned and had plenty of sauce. The rice noodles were really good. Our very picky eater devoured them. Fried rice with meals was basic, nothing mixed in but tasty. The egg drop soup was good, but the "crunchies" that came w them tasted like old oil was used. Plenty of food for 2 adults/4 kids, w leftovers. I would recommend them as a quick and easy take out option. We will go back.

Food had no flavor. The Lomein was over cooked. The amount was pretty decent though but very disappointing when it came to the taste.

    Beef lo mein - delicious!

It is over priced for what it is. 21 for one meal, drink, soup including 15%. Wok Inn is a better value

The first thing I love is that they fry with beef tallow instead of seed oils, which is super great health wise, because I do all I can not to eat them so I have almost no restaurants that I can eat at, especially not fast food and especially not French fries. So that's a huge plus because their fries are amazing. Secondly, the prices are great. The 4 meal deals are super great prices and it keeps me coming back for more! I think the prices are generally great although the shakes are kinda pricey but they are usually that way at most places. I'll also say that the staff is extremely friendly and always helpful and accommodating. I am happy to ask them for things or help with an order and they show genuine care and service. Not to mention that the restaurant has that 1960s dinner vibe which is sweet and really brings together the experience. I love this restaurant and I will always consider it when going out for a bite. I will say that it would be nice if there was another one closer to my house on the east side, but I still don't mind the 30 minute drive because it's so tasty at a great price, with awesome workers.

The inside has a clean, vintage diner vibe that immediately makes you want to order a milkshake. Everything felt fresh and well-kept. The fries were the first thing that surprised me--they were super crisp, hot, and you can definitely taste the difference from being fried in beef tallow. They were incredible. The burger was just as good: fresh, flavorful, and even though I usually don't like pickles, they didn't bother me one bit because everything worked so well together. The biggest shock? I didn't walk out feeling that heavy, sluggish "fast-food crash." You can tell they're using fresher, higher-quality ingredients, and it makes a huge difference. Steak 'n Shake went far above my expectations. For me, it's easily one of the quiet powerhouses in the fast-food world. I'll absolutely be back.

Being that each sandwich costs a little over $11, I was highly disappointed... If I wanted a veggie sandwich, I would have ordered one, being that the options were available.
