Classic Chinese fast food with delivery. A staple in Murray Hill. Fresh, fast, delicious and the order is always correct. Love the delivery guy. I've seen him so many times over the years I think we're on a first name basis.

The food is consistent and very large portions. We pretty much solely get our take out from Wok N Roll, even tho each one is individually owned we have found that they are pretty consistent. Food is done quick, hot and lots of it. I will say that the online ordering is frustrating. You pick all your items and it NEVER lets me log in, i have to switch to "phone style" order and then it will let me log in. I also never get the confirmation email. Not that big of a deal but it would be nice.

Still my go to Chinese delivery in Jacksonville. Lunch and dinner combos are a great value with plenty of food to share or enjoy later. Been on a Beef and Mixed Vegetables kick for a minute and I always get the General Tso's Chicken or Tofu. Comes with egg roll and fried rice or steamed rice... your choice. Really the best.

    Barnacle shells in wonton soup

I hate to even leave this review because we have frequented this place often and have never had issues, but after my most recent experience, I can't say that I will ever go back again. I just finished eating our leftover wonton soup and found what appears to be multiple BARNACLE shells at the bottom of my bowl. I honestly can't even fathom how these would have ended up in wonton soup to begin with and I find it deeply bothersome. I'm not sure that I could eat food from here without second guessing every bite I take.

Food was steaming hot how I like it, veggies were fresh and dish had a nice spice to it. Also, the combo is a huge portion. My new go to spot! Definitely recommend

The vibrant, traditional Chinese murals painted across both the exterior and interior immediately caught my eye. I found them thoroughly captivating and beautifully artistic. Though the venue itself is intimate, the layout and decor are executed with exceptional taste and style. I was seated at a lovely table beside the glass window overlooking the street, which offered the most wonderful view for a relaxing afternoon. The staff greeted me with genuine, warm smiles and provided exceptionally friendly service throughout. To begin, I ordered the Thai Basil Paloma, which proved to be an absolute perfection of a beverage for a Sunday. For my main course, I was intrigued by their new duck option on the menu and it was an absolute triumph! Rich, exquisitely prepared, and utterly delicious. Also, thank you to Thomas for his service It made for a flawless Sunday afternoon from start to finish. Full marks to Hawkers for an outstanding culinary experience. I shall most certainly be returning!

The decor and vibe definitely give Asian street market -- I loved the neon signs. Thomas was our server and he was friendly, quick, and attentive throughout. We ordered the Twice Fried Korean Wings, Bonchon, and Chili Crisp Cucumbers to share. The wings were delicious with the best crunch, almost like candied chicken wings. My only complaint is I expected more heat from the gochujang. The Bonchon is essentially a flight of pickled sides: sweet pickled cucumbers, sweet pickled carrots and daikon (similar to what you'd find on a Vietnamese banh mi), and a well-fermented kimchi with mild heat and great flavor. We also ordered the Hong Kong Wonton Soup, and thought we ordered "Chow Fun" noodles -- but "Chow Faan" is actually their fried rice dish. Word of caution: if you want their take on Chow Fun noodles, order the "Beef Haw Fun" instead. The star of the show was the Hong Kong Wonton Soup -- the broth was authentically Asian, distinctly different from a classic French-style broth built on onion, celery, and carrot mirepoix. It was so good we ordered another one to go and took it to our mom to enjoy. We will definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes.

Beef noodles - the broth taste decent and had just enough spicyness to my liking. The beef was tender and I would say to it's price has reasonable amount. The pork soup dumplings were a bit different than how I'm used to having them prepared. They were thicker at the top and there wasn't much broth in them. However, the pork inside was a generous amount so it made up for the lack of broth. I enjoyed the chili oil and the vinegar provided on the side, great addition to every bite. I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup which was very aromatic, which I love about the dish whenever I order it. It had plenty of heat which is great as well. Finished it all off with a bottle of Sapporo. The service was quick and easy, and the ambiance was laid back which I loved for a nice rainy afternoon lunch. The bread was soft and slightly sweet, which paired beautifully with the blackened spiced shrimp. Fries were flavorful though a bit thicker than expected for "shoestring," but still enjoyable. I paired it with Pinot Noir (1/2 off for happy hour!) and wrapped up the evening with strawberry and cream macarons -- a sweet, refreshing finish. Service was casual and welcoming. My server was friendly and personable. It felt easygoing yet professional, exactly the kind of service you want for a laid-back evening. The ambiance is modern rustic -- think wood accents, darker tones, and even a pig ceiling accent that adds some charm. Happy hour prices make it a great entry point if you're curious to try the menu. Overall, I've been here several times, and the consistency keeps me coming back: quality food, warm service, and an atmosphere that's lively without being overwhelming. Highly recommend, especially for a casual dinner or happy hour.

We started with the Korean Fried Broccoli and we both had mixed feelings about it. We liked the overall taste but we both expected the breading to be far more crispy than it was. Having never tried it before, that could very well be how it's meant to be but when we see "Korean Fried", we are thinking crispy. Again, it wasn't bad, just not what we expected. I ordered the Steak Frites for my entree, which I ordered medium rare. Let me start by saying that the cook on the steak was perfect and I REALLY liked the fries and the seasoning on them. However, I was really surprised by how tough the the steak was. I mean, really tough. I liked parts of it but found it hard to enjoy most of it. My wife ordered the Sheep Style Smash Burger. She thought it was a good smash burger and the "sheep sauce" was a nice take on 1000 Island. She liked the potato bun and she really liked her fries as well. So it seems her entree was more of a success than mine. It's worth noting that our server Maya was fantastic. She added a lot to our enjoyment of the evening. Our server the first time was awesome too and I liked my entee (short rib) a LOT more. So we'll stop in again to try some other things eventually.

There are stairs, but if you walk straight through to the host/hostess stand at Dorothy's, there is a small elevator available. The décor was nice and there was a decent amount of seating available, enough to accommodate our group of 10 and another large group at the table next to ours. It looked like people came here with their families for special occasions. There was only one person working to cover everything from seating, take out, serving, etc., and he did an amazing job of staying on top of everything. He even took the time to explain to me that they recently decided to make their entire menu (save for the fried items) gluten free due to many requests they'd received from their customers. It was so nice to eat at a place that was so considerate! Their menu is definitely more fusion than authentic. I asked the server for a recommendation and he told me his favorite is the Curry Fried Rice, but it was a big portion, so I opted for his second favorite, the Drunken Noodles. I asked about the spice levels and asked for mine to be more spicy. It wasn't as spicy as I hoped, so I asked for a spice tray and added several spoonfuls of various chili flakes and peppers. My colleagues got the yellow curry and said it was basically flavorless, but they liked their Drunken Noodles. I'm thankful to have the gluten free option, but I was missing the essence of the classic/authentic flavor. Overall, the décor, ambience, and service was great, but the food was just okay.

I would eat Panda Express before ever going back here and I hate it! I barely ate anything! We took an Uber over from the marina we were staying at. Firstly this is mainly a take out place, that's fine. There are four tables. Food was served in to go boxes with paper plates and plastic spoons and forks. Little tiny napkins and no knives. We ordered an appetizer, soup, rice and a main. Everything came out together. We ordered Wonton and Hot & Sour soup. Steamed Dumplings, Vegetable Fried Rice and Orange Chicken that came with white rice. The best part of the meal was the white rice! The Steamed Dumplings were barely cooked with very little meat in them and were probably cooked in a microwave. The Wonton Soup was just ok. The Hot & Sour Soup had so much bean curd in it that should have been its name. I ate half of the cup because that was the best part of my meal! The Vegetable Fried Rice was disgusting. It was soggy and tasteless. I had about one bite. My husband's Orange Chicken had so much breading on it was hard to find the chicken. He ate about half of it because he's not that picky and was really hungry! We got a bonus's Pork Egg Roll because we spent over $40. I ate two bites of it and spit the second one out! We also had two bottles of water, no issues with the water. Overall it was a terrible experience. I will say that many reviews talked about small portions we thought the portions were fine.
