Hard pass on their chicken egg foo young. The gravy is not what I wanted it to be. It was brown but it was not a good rich brown gravy, it had a sweetness to it that I did not like. The egg foo young itself was very eggy, no veggies in the first big bite, or in the second very small second bite. I would have been okay with the eggy part, as it is obviously an egg dish, the problem was it tasted fishy. There was definitely not a lot of chicken in it, but both of the two bites l did eat tasted too fishy. I also ordered a pork egg roll but I sure didn't notice any pork at all. So definitely a hard pass on their egg foo young. Because of the egg foo young experience, I cannot say that I would recommend this place. The cashier did confirm my order, so there is that. We ordered the house fried rice with shrimp, chicken, and beef, the shrimp egg foo young, and an egg roll. Overall, everything was solid. The fried rice was good, although the beef was a bit tough and chewy. It also could have used a bit more salt, but adding soy sauce helped balance it out. They were generous with condiments and included multiple packets of soy sauce, a cup of duck sauce or possibly sweet and sour sauce, fortune cookies, utensils, and napkins. I've ordered several items from this restaurant and am always satisfied with what I ordered. We usually order delivery but they also have good in-person service as well. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I must say I won't be going back. I received a totally different item than what I ordered. I did my order on line and I checked the final page to make sure it was correct, but still, I received a huge container of rice with lots of meat and shrimp mixed in. I needed a vegie fried rice. Be sure to take a screenshot of your order before picking it up to prove what you actually ordered. I had to throw away the whole meal which cost $18.00, but I did enjoy the spring roll that I had ordered. It was very good. The woman on the phone told me I could get a refund if I brought the meal back, but since the restaurant was 30 min away from me I decided not go. I asked if I could bring it back the next day and was told that it would be too late for me to get a refund if I brought it back in a later day!? That's odd. One of the more consistent places for basic dishes. All soups are always flavorful and full of ingredients. We typically get stuff to go, but dined in tonite. Service is quick and their hot and iced tea is some of the best around. Mongolian beef with fried rice, egg roll and soup for 9.95 is a deal. Variety is plentiful and all of the dishes are made to order. The Mongolian Beef is a fav as it is spicy, full of fresh onions, scallions and peppers and garlic. The sauce is the best! My husband and daughter wanted Chinese food and this is where they choose to stop. However, something has CHANGED and I mean for the best. First, the service was friendly and quick. My order (to go) came out hot and the ingredients were fresh. My daughter likes the Orange Chicken and my husband likes the Sweet & Sour Pork. I did not place an order for myself as I was still shell shocked from my prior visit. BUT...when we got home and my family started plating their food, I just could not resist a sample (or two). I had originally wanted some chicken fried rice, but took a chance on there so called popular dish "Sesame Chicken, with eggroll and wonton soup".
