Since moving to Houston, choosing Chinese restaurants has largely felt like a guessing game, and I have mostly missed the mark. I have found a few spots that were decent, but none that truly stood out. This place falls among the better options I have tried. I believe it is located near the large H E B off Highway 6 and Sienna Parkway. After reading other reviews, the feedback seems mixed, though the DoorDash rating was solid, which ultimately led us to give it a try. We ordered the house fried rice with shrimp, chicken, and beef, the shrimp egg foo young, and an egg roll. Overall, everything was solid. The fried rice was good, although the beef was a bit tough and chewy. It also could have used a bit more salt, but adding soy sauce helped balance it out. They were generous with condiments and included multiple packets of soy sauce, a cup of duck sauce or possibly sweet and sour sauce, fortune cookies, utensils, and napkins. The egg foo young was packaged separately from the gravy, which I appreciated since it helps prevent the dish from becoming soggy during transit. It was flavorful, hot, and exactly what you would expect. It did lean a bit more egg forward than I am used to, but it was still enjoyable. The egg roll was nothing remarkable, but it was not bad and was noticeably larger than what many Chinese restaurants in Houston typically offer. If you are in a pinch and looking for solid Chinese food in the area, this place should suffice. It is worth giving a shot. read more

This was my first time trying this restaurant the service was great very nice and honors military! The temperature of the food was hot ! And the presentation and portions for the price was amazing ! The only problem I had was with the taste of the food it was a little bland and flavorless. I've ordered several items from this restaurant and am always satisfied with what I ordered. We usually order delivery but they also have good in-person service as well. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I must say I won't be going back. I received a totally different item than what I ordered. I did my order on line and I checked the final page to make sure it was correct, but still, I received a huge container of rice with lots of meat and shrimp mixed in. I needed a vegie fried rice. Be sure to take a screenshot of your order before picking it up to prove what you actually ordered. I had to throw away the whole meal which cost $18.00, but I did enjoy the spring roll that I had ordered. It was very good. The woman on the phone told me I could get a refund if I brought the meal back, but since the restaurant was 30 min away from me I decided not go. I asked if I could bring it back the next day and was told that it would be too late for me to get a refund if I brought it back in a later day!? That's odd. Service is quick and their hot and iced tea is some of the best around. Mongolian beef with fried rice, egg roll and soup for 9.95 is a deal. Variety is plentiful and all of the dishes are made to order. The Mongolian Beef is a fav as it is spicy, full of fresh onions, scallions and peppers and garlic. The sauce is the best! My husband and daughter wanted Chinese food and this is where they choose to stop. However, something has CHANGED and I mean for the best. First, the service was friendly and quick. My order (to go) came out hot and the ingredients were fresh. My daughter likes the Orange Chicken and my husband likes the Sweet & Sour Pork. I did not place an order for myself as I was still shell shocked from my prior visit. BUT...when we got home and my family started plating their food, I just could not resist a sample (or two). This is our place for ordering for delivery or pickup. We've never eaten inside, but we love the ease and convenience. Tonight, we ordered family dinner for 2 and house lo mein. When the food arrived, I paid, took it to the kitchen, set out the plates and started placing the food on the table.
