I ordered delivery from here a couple hours ago. The service was on-time (45 minute wait), and the food was as expected. There is a TON of it as well, so you could probably split one dish between two people very easily, even if you never touched the rice. I had General Tso's, my partner had Veggie Lo-Mein (both ~$6). Their Tso's runs sweeter than I'm used to, and not as spicy as I would like, but it's still good Chinese nonetheless. The driver and the phone operator were both friendly as well. This is our go-to Chinese delivery restaurant. I usually get the general Tso's and my partner get chicken and veggies with garlic sauce. Plus the steamed pork dumpling are always a favorite with amazing sauce. The portions are very large and can usually stretch for at least 2 meals. They almost always say that delivery will be 45-60 minutes. Sometimes it's shorter, sometimes longer (once out of all the times we've ordered the driver took longer than 80 mins, because the driver got a flat and it was a very busy delivery day) but on average 45 mins is accurate. They are occasionally short on the phone; however, I can almost always hear multiple orders being taken-they're very busy. The food quality has on occasion been below average, but luckily I've ordered from them enough to know that's the exception rather than the rule. read more

We ordered the Egg Foo Young, and Pepper Steak, looked good when we got it. But when I took a bite of my Pepper Steak, the Green Pepper was crunchy and the Onions were rubbery, and lots of gravy and hardly any meat, small pieces. Then my Husbands Egg Foo Young was so Bland and it was over cooked and all meat in His Egg Foo Young, the Egg Roll was Nasty and Bland, and even the Fried Rice was brown and had no taste to it, just colored rice. I wish I could do this review without any stars because this place is so bad. We ordered sesame chicken and what we got was some dried out old chicken SKIN covered in the sesame chicken sauce. I've ordered here multiple times. Every single time the price changes. I have a menu (which for the record stays the same) but I've ordered the same thing five times and gotten five different totals. Sometimes they answer and sometimes they don't. Tonight I ordered the same thing again and it was $10 higher. I called in about it and they offered a $1 credit. I won't be ordering again. NEVER, EVER order from here. I live downtown, which is 11 minutes from Wok Wok. I called and placed a $30 order and waited an hour..I called to ask the status of my order. They said the delivery driver was on his way. I waited another 30 minutes. I called back to cancel. They proceeded to hang up on me. Twenty minutes later, the delivery driver shows up. I told him to keep the food. I work downtown at a hotel that regularly recommends this excuse of a restaurant. When I go to work tonight, I will be throwing all of their menus away and will NEVER recommend them again. read more

How often is it that a restaurant has great food, but the owner operator is just crass and rude? Customer service is more like Chinese water torture. WokWok.they have great fired rice, great General Tso's chicken, but eating in at Wok Wok - just forget about it- just order out for delivery or for pickup. My complaint is two fold- in 2013 when I came to Tulsa I was eating at Wok Wok 2 to 3 times at week at lunch , The owner (male) had the audacity to overcharge $1 me for hot and spicy General Tso's when the menu clearly stated that the dish was supposed to be made szechuan style hot and spicy - duh. Then when confronted with multiple overcharges, he lowered the price to the menu price, but started complaining to me: "You eat too much soy sauce"!!? WHAT??? Then when I ordered water- he'd put it in the glass set it down on the ice machine and then make you walk over to get it! I left an earlier review about that and oddly enough now its gone?? Hmmm. Perhaps Yelp works with owners on bad reviews- seems a little dishonest to me. Fast forward to 2016, my wife and I decided to eat after a movie - low and behold, the male owner is again as crass and rude as he was in 2013. When we asked for the hot red oil that is used to make the meal hot and spicy - he tells us he doesn't have any!!! My wife who likes really hot Chinese couldn't believe it. Then when we asked for water, it was like pulling teeth; he acted offended to have to help us. The next time I go will be at night after work to just pick up; the male owner is a rude classless cad, hopefully his wife grabs him by the ear and twists it until its blue to teach him a few minimal manners. Order out or pick up, their food is really very good. I think their fried rice is the best I've found in Tulsa or BA, but the real shame is that you have to suffer such rude service and endure a no class attitude from the owner if you eat in here. Really strange, as his wife is a class act, one night as I picked up the dinner she offered me extra soy sauce, at which point her hubby would dig holes in he floor with his eyes, after I looked directly at him as she asked if 10 packets were enough..and then asked her daughter to give me an extra 5. Today would make it the fourth time that I have ordered delivery from Wok Wok. I have been here in town for business for the past 5 weeks. I am at the Holiday Inn express in downtown, so I assume that the location is a little bit off. The first time I ordered they said an hour for delivery! I was a bit shocked, but famished so I waited. I was a little concerned because the person on the phone seemed a little rude and distracted... but when the food arrived all my apprehensions were relieved! The food was pipping hot! and the portions where huge I at the left overs for two days! I always ask for extra hot when I order, so they just got use to giving me chili on the side. It took almost 90 minutes for delivery. The driver had an attitude. The woman who answered when I called to check on the order was not helpful. The food was very disappointing. The food was poor when compared to the quality of typical Chinese delivery/takeout food such as Happy House or Golden Gate or Golden Chef.. The temperature was lukewarm. The lo mein was mushy and very bland. It had no flavor whatsoever. The pork had a funny texture and my kids would not eat it. The steamed dumplings were a sticky, mushy mess. He actually had the NERVE to ask me if my card was mine or someone elses, just because there was a delay and stutter in my voice. Used to love ordering from this place. The last time we ordered they accused us of using someone else's Debit card other than our own. Tonight, the driver apparently made a mistake on the dollar amount that my card was run for. A $10 error on his part. They called me at 10:15 at night, 3 1/2 hours after delivery of our food, to tell me they were going to charge the $10 error to me. Will not go back. They have done nothing but try to rip me off and accuse me of using a fake card. I'm done! Much like Robert Ebert (famous movie critic), I rate things relative to what they are trying to be. So an amazing dive-bar can get 5 stars, whereas a posh but underwhelming Manhattan restaurant might struggle for 3 stars. WOK WOK IS AMAZING (with the standard caveat, for what is is trying to be). If you want delicious Asian cuisine, order from here. I've had a few deliveries recently (because I recently discovered it) and all were great. If they have a physical restaurant, I can't comment on that because I always order delivery on a cold night when I don't feel like getting out and pizza doesn't strike me as appealing. Delivery is fast. I'm don't doubt the other reviewers when they say delivery was slow and took 90 minutes, but I live 9 miles from the restaurant and it always arrives in the 35 to 45 minute range. And they always predict "45 minutes or an hour," so they're under promising and over delivering. Food is always hot (perhaps only warm, but never needs the microwave). The portions are ENORMOUS. Literally, I can eat a whole medium pizza in one setting, but only 1/2 of an order from here. There's just too much dense and delicious food. Translation, unless you're an 19 year old football player, you can split a single order (yes, the "regular" and not the larger option). My only complaint, if I had to search for one, is that everytime the sauces leak from the styrofoam and slightly pool in the plastic bag. Not the plastic cupped sauces, just the natural "au jou" of the meat/rice. It's really a non-issue, but I had to wipe the counter. Big deal though, right? I can highly recommend the Bourbon Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Tso's Chicken, and the 2.99 salad (it will feed 3 people). The "regular" entrees will feed two. I don't think there's a delivery minimum, but they do add about 2 bucks for delivery. JUST TRY IT, YOU'LL BE HOOKED! The food was so-so but the service was poor. It was Valentine's day so I decided to order in rather than try and find a restaurant out of my hotel. They told me an hour and it was nearly two before my food arrived. Apparently, someone from the same hotel placed a big order and mine had to wait until theirs was done. The wontons are greasy and filled with cream cheese (what I wanted). The only thing that disappoints me is that the sweet and sour is severely watered down, not thick and gooey like it should be. This is my favourite Chinese restaurant! The food is authentic, they do delivery or pick up. I love this restaurant! Sometimes they are very busy, but are friendly, fast, have good food at good Prices. I've been getting food delivered from them about 8 years, 2 different addresses; we moved out of state and for our 1st meal back we called them! If you specify exactly how you want your order, they will bend over backwards to make it the way you want it. They always say delivery time of one hour. Used to order here at least 4 times a month with average customer service and pleasant delivery drivers. Last receipt was keyed incorrectly and charged me $127.70 instead of $12.70 before tip. I was assured it would not be keyed until it was signed, where I corrected the amount, but the $127.70 came out anyway. While it was returned eventually, I was out that large amount for a week, which was a huge personal inconvenience when I needed it. My family goes to the one on Peoria on almost a weekly basis. The same woman always rings us up and she is as sweet as can be. My stepdad always goes in to pick up the food for us, but one night I came with him and the woman knew me by name even though we had never met.
