Looking for food options before my flight to New York City, JFK, through the air carrier JetBlue, on a Wednesday morning, I stumbled across Wolfgang Puck Express while exploring in Terminal 1. Wolfgang Puck Express is located near Gate B-7. It is also within walking distance of the other major gates in Concourse D. This restaurant offers quick service dining and to go orders. The service is pretty fast and does have decent seating inside the area. The restaurant offers a wide range of pizzas like BBQ chicken and Four Cheese, Sandwiches such as the Turkey Club and Grilled Turkey, salads, soups, and so much more. Since I visited during their breakfast hours, the menu was relatively limited. Some of their breakfast items included the following Classic Breakfast Applewood Bacon & Aged Cheddar Omelet Smoked Ham and Egg Sandwich Avocado Toast Breakfast Bowl I ended up getting their breakfast bowl. It had eggs, potatoes, sausage, feta, peppers and some sauces on it. I ate the bowl near my gate before leaving to JFK. Since my flight was slightly delayed, I didn't feel too rushed eating the breakfast! The service was fast and the breakfast bowl was good. To start with the positives, the service was very prompt and friendly and the bartenders could hold good conversation. The beer and half priced shit special is very enticing, especially since it's any liquor. For the negatives, my chicken caesar wrap was incredibly dry and flavorless. It didn't really even have any caesar sauce on it. The fries were good though. For my margarita, I asked for one to be made without sour mix (so a traditional margarita), and what I got was essentially half a glass of lime juice with a bit of tequila and triple sec in it. It was almost undrinkable though I certainly did my best. If you're waiting for a flight, I would say this place is preferable to others but I would still to beer or a bloody Mary, which seemed to be flying off the shelves. read more

Dear Wolfgang, I wish I could speak to you personally. The food and service I received today was beyond horrible. I understand it is not the typical restaurant setting but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want your name ruined due to poor service and bland food... But here you go...Christian the bartender was horrible. She lacked personality, and I had to ask her if it was my food..which was sitting for 4 mins before she served it to me..well shall I say, I had to grab my own plate. I had the American Breakfast and the potatoes were cold, hard and old. It was almost as if they cut a potatoes, dropped it in the grease and went about their business. The bacon was old as well..but I ate it...can't take a 5 hour flight on am empty stomach. The eggs were the best which were fried over medium. I would say they really need to step it up a notch. This gentleman kindly cut up an apple I had bought and while this was certainly not "his job"~ he took it, cut it and chatted as if I was a high paying customer! I truly appreciated his smile & his immediate response to my request (which was a bit unusual I'm sure) Despite other customers in line. I think he deserves a raise! This is a pathetic operation. Absolutely clueless staff from top to bottom. Do not order from this place. I waited 25 minutes before they started making the pizza. They were arguing with me that it hasn't been that long. I pulled my credited card that showed 25 minutes. They also missed ingredientes and they stated that what we were told to do. Kinda have a mixed review of this spot because I literally had two experiences. Came over to get a burger before my flight because I still had time. Upon getting here, I was 2nd in line, but it took me 34 mins to place my order. The Chef with the whole white chef get up and Cashier was just simply chatting away with one other worker totally disregarding me and the people in line. What if I was in a rush to my flight? They were just real rude through out and the line was so backed up. Over heard them arguing with another customer over the time it took to make his burger. I was pretty frustrated at this point. Maybe another 30 mins my number was called. The chef with the white get up literally tossed my order sliding across the top of the prep area. I literally caught it just in time. Asking him a question was difficult too because he was telling people he was rushing to dish out order. If that was the case, why stand there chit chatting for so long. After a while my flight got moved and delayed, so I just decided to grab a pizza. There wasn't much good food option at the time, so I felt like it was still a better choice since I don't plan on sitting down but going to my new gate to wait. Definitely better experience. It helps that they have a brick pizza oven so you are eating a fresh, hot pizza. The flavors were solid and for $16 I did not feel totally ripped off. The servers were kind and efficient. Turkey club sandwich was just okay, hard bread topped with a ton of avocado, which made for a messy mid-flight meal. My husband and I asked both to be seated on the table near the bar so my husband and I can sit at the bar and order drinks. Come to find out we have to be seated with the 6 year old even there is an adult with him. We were not arguing but wanted to state the fact that the 6 year old had a grown adult with him. Bartender said that she didn't want to lose her job but it made no sense of having tables where the "underaged" kids can eat literally next to a bar but yet we can't sit at the bar and have the kid with a grown adult next to him. We told her that it wasn't written as rules by the airport but her paranoia was getting the best out of her. It's not like they have a freakin area away from their bar where we can sit and enjoy our drink without and our kids WITH A GROWN ADULT being told that they needed to sit with their parents! This day was at 1100 on Saturday March 7. Chicken wrap was dry, pepperoni pizza for my 6 year old was greasy! I mean I know we are talking about airport food and that it is normally pricey but WTF!!! Completely overrated, salads were subpar with way too much dressing. The waitstaff looked miserable and have extremely poor customer service skills. I learned my lesson this time and will not repeat it! Gosh darn you Wolfgang Fcuk you robbed me! Experience: Stuck in D gate at 8:00am. The only choices are Starbucks and Wolfgang Express for food. Facility: There is food service on one side and a bar on the other with tables and chairs in between. Clean and typical decor of airport restaurants. There is an oven for pizza that you can see the fire going full blast...that's cool. Service: Didn't exactly open at 8am...more like 8:10. The cashier wasn't friendly but want rude either. Love that the cooks are making my food right in front of me fresh. Said thanks to cook and so did the guy in front of me, but he didn't acknowledge either of us. Food: I was pleasantly surprised by the look of my food. I ordered the egg breakfast sandwich which was made with ham, tomato, egg, mayo and cheese on sourdough. This may bear the Wolfgang Puck name, it's no Spago or anything. And the food is definitely overpriced for the subpar quality. But it is edible. Not to many places to eat at this terminal but decided to try this place. First off there staff were all very friendly and helpful , simply nice to chat with for a bit. Its a spacious place with alot of seating area plus there's additional out of the restaurant where you can find places to charge your devices. The food was made fresh and didnt take a crazy amount of time. The food was good definitely will keep in mind next time in this terminal , thanks again guys for a great first impression! I love Wolfgang, but our experience at this Wolfgang Puck Express was a fail. Believe the reviews when they say this place is not quick. Believe the reviews that say the quality is poor for the price. But above all else know that THEY HAD NO MUSTARD FOR MY HUSBAND'S HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH!!! How can you serve a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and not have mustard? So they do not have mustard and will not take the sandwich back, and my husband is all, "if you don't have mustard I don't want the sandwich." UGH! We try not to eat tasty garbage (garbage being unhealthy food full of salt, nitrates, fats, chemicals, etcetera) but when we do eat garbage, we want to enjoy it. "Without mustard, I am not going to enjoy this; why would I eat it?" He has a valid point. Solution, he ends up walking up to the diner in the terminal hub, filling his hand with mustard from a mustard bottle, and bringing it back to the Express to eat his sandwich. I love Wolf Gang Pucks restaurants and have been to many, I have even met the man. I never think twice when going into a Wolfgang restaurant, including the airport restaurants. From the moment I arrived the bartender was not only rude but had the personality of stale bread. I even heard him muttering sarcastically "I love my job" which it was apparent the entire time that quite the opposite was true. The menu listed several items without stating there was meat in them, being a vegetarian I delighted to see an item that only listed veggies and cheese. Only problem it came out with chicken on it. I pointed it out after picking all of the chicken out and he shrugged and said that I was the only person to have ever brought it up. He was not accommodating in any way, not even an apology. I observed him interacting with other customers, has attitude was snide, snotty, and all topics he brought up with either negative, completely downing Las Vegas (where he grew up) or making fun of the obvious lack of selection at this shame of an airport eatery. Bottom Line: It's my Go-To when I have a quick turn at the LAS Airport. The first time I stopped there I was in a rush. I asked the guy what can I get quick? He said an egg sandwich. I thought "It's a little late in the day for that......" forgetting that I was on West Coast time. Well I'm always up for breakfast so I said sure. Dagnabit - when he told me how much $11.25 - I thought "Well they got me this time but I'll never fall for that again!" I was wrong! I have willingly and cravingly (yes, it's a word!) been back several times. The sandwich comes on 2 HUGE slices of sourdough toast. The egg is cooked perfectly - not hard and not running down your fingers runny. Perfectly melted cheese and ham (optional). It also comes with some very tasty breakfast home fries. I've had a salad with chicken and was very disappointed. A lot of lettuce and the chicken tasted way pre-made, no pizzaz whatsoever. The pizza is also very good. I see a lot of people get on the flights with some great looking sandwiches. If it's a flight that I haven't gotten off and grabbed something for myself, I spend the first half of the flight having a severe case of food envy!! It's pretty expensive yes but I thought the food was not bad. They toast the bread. The meat tastes fresh. I was surprised at all the negative reviews on here but I've never tried to eat here. This is my normal stop in Concourse D on my way home. They make a nice stiff drink here and while it's not cheap it's not over the top for an airport bar. On this day, last Thursday, we waited until we saw a table open up. The bar was jammed and the bartender was making drinks as fast as she could. The YS was holding down the table and our carry on luggage at the table as I went up to the bar. I placed an order as she checked my ID for legal age and then informed me that she would need to see the ID of the other person drinking. Hey, I get it there are cameras watching her every move, gotta go by the book. I went back and got his driver's license and that was good enough. I said, "See he's old enough to know better, too." Wolfgang Puck express bar in the LAS airport...The only reason I went there was because my grandson was thirsty and the restaurant side had 16oz $5 bottles of water but I didn't have $5, so I asked for a courtesy cup of water. They sent me to the bar. I went to the bar and the bartender was very rude. It was 12/17/21 @ 2pm, he was not busy at all. He was very annoyed when I asked for the cup of water. He got an empty cup and put it on the counter. Wolfgang Puck Express is one of the few dining options in the D gates at McCarran that sounds remotely appetizing. But, if you decide to dine there or get food to go be prepared to wait. My pizza took about 15 minutes and when it gets really busy don't be surprised if your wait is longer. It's also common to see confrontations between staff and customers. During my last visit I saw two different customers lose their cool because they didn't get their pizza sooner. So, if you're in a hurry dine elsewhere. The food itself was disappointing. The crust on my pepperoni and mushroom pizza was limp and the toppings slid right off after picking up the first slice. Maybe I should have waited for it to cool down and for the cheese to congeal before eating. What was worse was seeing the huge pool of grease in the center of the pizza. I needed about five napkins to soak it all up. I've had decent food from this particular WP Express before, so I won't rule out a return visit. But, this last experience was a fail. read more

This was my first Wolfgang Puck experience and I loved the Thai Chicken Wrap. IMO it is off-the-chart delicious. Yes, this is an airport eatery, but this menu item is made to order. The hefty wrap has great texture and flavor from a cabbage filling that includes cashews, chow mein noodles, zingy dressing, and warm chicken. An added bonus is that there are tables and chairs right outside the restaurant so you don't have to eat on your lap. Wolfgang Puck Express is now on my radar. read more

I grabbed dinner here before my return flight back home. Seeing I have never been to a Wolfgang puck resto before, I couldn't miss out on this opportunity. Located near gate D17, this express counter has a fast food counter, complete bar and seating area. The menu compromises of pasta, wraps, pizzas and salads. I picked the odd one out at the menu ordering a WP burger (4/5) with white cheddar, herbed aioli, remounted (sauce similar a thousand island dressing as explained by the chef). Burger was 15$ with tax. The beef patty was thick and juicy, with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and sweet pickles. Very filling! read more
