It's literally the only thing I eat no matter which Piccadilly location I may be visiting. This chopped steak slaps. I visited this location for lunch last week and I cleaned my plate. I got the large chopped steak meal, the rice was counted as a side. I had to choose another but ended up buying an extra side anyways. If your grown get some onions because I forgot. Of course to be sure to get extra gravy if your eating it with rice. Carrot soufflé has ALWAYS been my go to side and it tasted amazing. I added the squash and zucchini and as the extra side and it was good good! I love great tasting vegetables and this hit it on the nail. The food was fresh, I enjoyed my lunch that day. The total was about 16$ with my extra side and I would pay for that every time cause it was just that good. Don't forget you to grab you some ketchup if your like me and I could see A1 being good on this even though I haven't tried. You also have a choice of a roll or cornbread. The rolls are pretty good in my opinion. I could imagine with butter and honey it would be fantastic. The To go staff here was nice, smiling, and happy. They accept tap and pay which was great because I forgot my card and still was able to eat. Of course food here isn't going to be seasoned down bad but it's far from bland. If you need extra those salt and pepper packets provided should do the trick.

The food is always fresh and taste amazing. Never disappointed, the lady needs a lil help tho…read morefixing plates or taking orders

It was quiet and had plenty of tables for guests to sit down and eat. The two people behind the counter were very nice. I ordered their three entree plate with a side and it was very affordable, less than $12. I got the black pepper chicken, their sesame chicken, and their new shrimp entree that is fried and tossed in a great sauce. The shrimp was called firecracker shrimp. I got the lo mein noodles as a side but they did not taste like traditional lo mein noodles, they were much sweeter which I did not like. I loved the black pepper chicken and shrimp entrees however. My sesame chicken sauce was also super sweet and not a dark sauce like it usually is at other Chinese restaurants. If you're looking for a quick place to stop for some Chinese food for lunch or dinner, this is the place.

I find it odd that I am writing a review about a restaurant I can't order from, so that's the…read moresubstance of my comments. They're clearly open with their hours on Google and Yelp, and I called four times. Nobody picked up the phone, so then I started reading the reviews. My wife drove by after work on Seigen and thought we might like this place. There are several people in these reviews that show pictures of small little worms in the meat, and somebody found hair in their food twice. So if I am putting two and two together, then this restaurant may not know how to store meat properly such that maggots or other insects are in the meat. Second, if someone found hair, then that means the people preparing the food are not wearing hair nets at the very minimum. Finally, if you are not picking up the phone during a Thursday night at dinner, then you may not be taking your role seriously as a business. All of these are indications that inductively speaking support the conclusion that we shouldn't eat from there.

I love that they offer a variety of boards you can share, and their drink options are great too. You can sit inside or outside, and they even have live music on some nights, which adds to the atmosphere. The service has always been great every time I've gone. They also have the cutest merchandise available for purchase. It's a great place for date night, hanging out with friends, celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, or just spending time with family. Highly recommend!

When you read the reviews below, most people know what this restaurant is and how it works. My…read moreresponse is less harsh about the service or it's overpriced charcuterie board concept. I have lived in BR for 6 years now. Many departments at LSU take guests there and in that time, Building 5 has done nothing to improve its parking lot. The restaurant sits underneath an overpass and the parking is pothole marked unpaved gravel. This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.
