He was tragically killed by a hit and run driver last year. He was a friendly, outgoing, and a pillar of the community. It is hard to believe he is not there. The business is still running under the capable hands of his daughter and son in law ( and his right hand baker- Maria). Also, the near $4 price tag for the size of these cupcakes isn't something I'm too fond of, but oh well. - The carrot cake cupcake was good: the icing and cake complemented each other very well. - The Oreo cupcake was alright, but I wasn't impressed with it. - The cinnamon crunch scone was an easy miss for me, didn't do anything for my taste buds. Overall, it's a decent spot with a relatively limited amount of pastries but I fully expect in the coming months for the business to take a huge shift and really blossom.
