I don't know that I'd buy my bike here since I'm such a cheap skate, but I do go here for repairs. I have always been treated well and once, when I forgot my wallet, I dug out my wife's check book and even though they don't accept checks, they agreed to accept my check. Of course I left my bike there, so even if the $20 check had bounced they'd have come out OK. Bottom line: good customer service and decent prices on repairs will keep my coming back. read more

This is a great Bike shop! They have great customer service and are always friendly. I had them tune up my old Giant Rincon that was sitting in my garage unused for a few years, and man, that bike was like new when they were done. I also bought a Giant Roam 2 from them. They didn't have it in stock, but they fitted me for the right size prior to ordering it and sold it at a good discount too boot! They have a life-long customer with me. read more

The shop is definitely more expensive than they need to be. They charge a flat fee of $40 to assemble a bike, even if it's only a minor job. On the bright side, they were fast and the lady running the shop was nice. read more

I've been taking my bikes to Woodcrest Bikes for years. The parts are always put on right and function perfectly. I have purchased a few bikes over the years from them as well; bikes for Christmas and birthdays were always finished on time and looked fantastic! The prices have always been fair and the service has been great! I love that the store is a locally family owned business. The only complaint I would have is that someday Bob and Julie will want to retire leaving me with the task finding a new shop. read more

We have purchased a couple of bikes from here ... beach cruisers previously and today a Fit bike for my son. We always go in to just "look" and end up leaving with a new bike. The owner (the lady is the only one we've worked with so far) is always incredible! So much patience in answering all our questions and so helpful in making sure we only get what we need. She was super helpful in setting my daughter up with a bike and all the locks when we sent her off to college. And again today setting up my son with his new Fit bike. Brought my Giant Roam hybrid bike in for a tune up. $40- money well spent. Brakes were well adjusted and the cassette was shimmering. Bike was done the day they said it would be so I'm a happy customer. I'm new to the woodcrest area and it's nice to have a shop nearby. All in all, not a bad shop, not bad service, but not what I would call "good". A friend of mine eagerly referred me here when I asked about a good shop in Riverside, so I dropped off a 90's Italian steel road bike a few weeks ago, it had sat around for a while and gathered a little rust. I asked for a good once over and a to replace the chain, cables, and brake aero covers, etc... Bob said it would be about 2 weeks since they were going on vacation that week, but assured me he'd call when it was finished. After 3 weeks and no call, I gave them a call to find it was ready. I went in and Julie rang me up, after I picked a new seat. Total of $17X.XX. Took the bike home, jumped on and took a short ride only to find out the aero covers aren't even close to fitting, they're the completely wrong set. With some quick googling I found the correct set. Both front and rear brake adjusters were left in the fully tightened position but the brakes were pretty loose, also the front derailleur wouldn't engage the outer chain ring w/o nearly bending the DT shift lever. Finally, they replaced only 1 of the 3 cable covers, but probably should have done them all. The front ones are very dingy and starting to crack. Took it home again RE-adjusted everything and now all is well. I was going to take my Trek Fuel here provided they did a good job but I don't think I'll be going back. With all the other good reviews on here, I'd like that to think, that maybe there's some extenuating circumstances that caused my experience, but who knows. read more
