I writing this review because of the bad service i received .For starters they tried to hustle me for work that my bike did not need to be done. After 2 weeks and lack of communication from shop because i refused the work they gave me my bike in pieces and stated i was lucky not to be charged for was they did ( WTF ) in pieces really!!!!! The douchebag ( a hole ) proceeded to kick me out . Please everyone read the reviews i thought to give them a chance after i read the reviews I should have known better . Lots of other shops out there boycott these a holes and visit other real shops. They cant even get the dates on receipts to reflect todays date. Idiots read more

I have been using Woodcrest bikes as my repair shop for about two years since I got back into riding. Jordan, Tina, and Marquis are always great. Freindly, knowledgable, and priced fairly. They always work to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. I always choose to go here over any other shop in Riverside even though it is the furthest away from my home. I brought my Phil & Teds stroller here to get my rear tires replaced. They said they could replace the tires, but they would have to order them. That was fine. However, when my husband picked up the stroller they said the axle was bent . . . it wasn't bent that badly when I dropped it off, but I can't be sure. However, when I pulled out the stroller to use it at the park a few days later, the tires were flat! In looking at the tires more closely, the tires don't fit my stroller at all! To top it off, when I called them to complain about my stroller not being fixed, the guy who answered the phone said "yeah, I remember that stroller. Not something I would put my kids in." And then he told me that "he would give me the parts to fix the stroller, but he wasn't going to work on it any more." So, I am taking the tires back and, hopefully, I will get my money back. I would like for them to replace the rim of the tire that they bent when trying to take off the tire, but I am not holding my breath. If they make me a satisfied customer, I might change my rating. But, after what the guy said to me on the phone, I don't know that there is any way to change my perception of them. I would have been much happier if they just said they couldn't fix the tire in the first place!!! read more

The owners, Bob and Julie, own and operate this business by themselves and they are extremely nice, humble, caring and knowledgeable, Both Bob and Julie are very hands on and both of them get their hands dirty. Their prices are very reasonable and fair and they offer GREAT service and selection that can't be beat. They have worked on mountain bikes, road bikes, kids bike, bmx bikes and even baby strollers for me and each time the work was done above and beyond my expectations. Great service. Called on Christmas Eve and not only were they the cheapest in town for a bike assembly they got it done today. They were busy but assured me the job would be completed so I can have the bike ready for my daughter on Christmas. The staff is great and the service is awsome. The bike was completed to perfection. I visited the Woodcrest Bikes, talked to Jordon, the owner about purchasing a new bike. Jordon was very nice, he has very good customer service. Although he was very busy he took the time to answer the questions I had. Due to COVID 19 most bikes are not readily available in the store, however he was very helpful by walking me through the process when the bikes how and when the bikes would be delivered to the store. If I could give a lower rating, I would. If I thought calling this shop and yelling at them over the phone would change their ways, I would. But unfortunately, all I can do for now is write this review and warn people to stay away from this shop and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT DESERVING OF IT. Rudeness and blatant disrespect is one thing if it is towards all customers. But singling people out based on the color of their skin or appearance is purely ignorant and there is no excuse for it in today's modern world. It is beyond disappointing and enraging that you believe you are entitled to treat other human beings so terribly. Please reconsider your actions and educate yourself for your own sake. Great Bike Shop!!! I brought my bike home after being in storage long enough that I didn't know how to fill the front tire with air. (In my defense, the tube had been changed at some point so wasn't the normal air thing-a -ma-jig. I read the yelp reviews, saw that Woodcrest was open and gave them a call. They said come on in. They filled me tire with air, checked the back for me also and explained how the front tire thing-a-ma-jig worked....for FREE!!! That was super sweet of them, and I'll be back for sure!!! They were very nice while doing it also. I love businesses that have amazing customer service, and here is one in our backyard. Woo-hoo!!!! read more

I've been going to this shop for years to buy parts but recently took both mine and my wife's bike in for service. They sat for a few years and were in desperate need of a tune up. When I picked up my bikes I had flashbacks to when they were new. My bike looked awesome. Such nice people own and operate this local bike shop. I needed an inner tube to be replaced, so I came here since it is so close to my house. They only charged me for the tube, and installed it for free, and really quickly on top of it all. I also had them do a tune up on my old bike a few months ago, but forgot to leave a review back then. I just remember they did a great job at a great price! read more

I took a used bike in to see if it was worth fixing for my son. I was immediately helped by Julie who is very knowledgable. She told me exactly what I needed, and even went over how to install certain things. When I asked about needing a missing brake stop, and a seat tightening screw, Bob found what I needed, installed it, and didn't even charge me for the trouble. These people are very hard working, honest, and amicable. I am thankful that they have there shop in Woodcrest because I have 3 sons, and I know where I will be going for all their bicycle needs. I appreciate people that enjoy their jobs, and enjoy helping people. They are very ethical, honest, and good neighbors. If I could give them 10 stars I would. My dad bought me my first bike from here 20 years ago. Today I called them to see if they had any extra inner tube rubber for a project I'm doing. When I went in, they had an entire bag for me to choose from. These guys have been part of the community for a long time and the friendly service still holds true. Highly recommend. Both Julie and Bob were awesome. Have a great stock of BMX which my boys were looking for. Took the time to listen to our needs, and when we made up our mind Julie went over all the safety rules of the road, the features of the bikes etc with my boys.
