Felt rushed and almost felt like the bike I really didn't want was pushed onto me. They didn't even let me test ride the bike. So I get home and ride the thing and am completely unhappy. I take the bike back asking to trade it out for a bike 100 dollars cheaper and I even offered to take the loss on the over hang. They answered. Once you ride you it. We can't do anything for you. I mean I rode the thing 10 feet. Wouldn't waste your time with this shop. Obviously they are strictly about money and not making their customers happy. read more

Five Stars are not enough to express how happy & appreciative we are with Woodcrest Bikes. We've been in the area for over 30 plus years. Between our children, nephews, nieces, friends & now grandchildren we have had many bikes fixed over the years. The staff made Andy, Catherine & Jordan are AMAZING! I brought my grandson's bike in close to 4:00 in hopes of possibly getting it back the next day fir his BMX. We were met with a sincere welcome and treated as we were part of the family. They looked at the bike and told me they would try to get it down by closing time which is at 6 pm. My grandson and I were super happy to say the least. I was called about 5:30 and explained that my son or I might not be to make it by closing. In the kindest of gestures I was told " No worries, we will wait for you to get here " This just doesn't happen too often in today's world. My son was able to pick up the bike after closing time and also felt the genuine caring they have in their hearts and in their craft. I would recommend Woodcrest Bikes to all who need a repair and to purchase a bike. Even if you just have questions I guarantee you will be welcome. I was in there an hour not 2. 3. The spots in front of your shop are not exclusive to your shop. 4. Well had high hopes with my neighbor hood store. They kept bike for two days, First said will do it, have tires in stock. then called and said no you have to have two tires, estimate from 76 went to 106 dollars. When I said one tire is in good condition why. That is not right I am, I don't trust that store anymore. I won't go there any more. Long live youtube. read more

So this is not a review on the work inside the store but pretty upset that I drove all the way here when it says online it's open just to find out it's closed, despite having the open sign flipped to open on the door. Please fix the online hours if they incorrect & make sure you have proper signs on the door, pretty disappointed. Needed a new tube and tire, thought for sure they would take all day, but actually, they stopped what they were doing and got me out of there, with a beautiful new tire, really quick, and I still made my 12:00 meeting in LA that day. I went to Woodcrest Bicycle Shop on Van Buren Blvd in Riverside. I never would have expected to be horribly disrespected at the shop our mother, has been going to for generations. I brought my jogging stroller to get the wheels repaired. He said he wouldn't have time until after Christmas. That's understandable. I asked him to come out to the car and let me know what size tubes I need so I could buy them and do it at home. He looked and told me the size of two tires and I asked home about the 3rd. I said "what about this one? Is it just too full of air or is the rim damaged?" He said " I don't have time for this and walked away from me." I said "how bout I tell my mom how rude you are so she can quit bringing all the kids bikes here?" He said "why? Because I don't want to work on your junky ass stroller?" Now hold on... as a business owner you don't have the luxury of treating people like crap just because your having a bad day. You could ruin yourself when someone like me comes along and spreads the word about you. I gave him a good cussing out and went on my merry way.
