All the food was amazing! Great ambience. Our server Sabrina is so personable, knowledgeable and genuine. You can tell she loves what she does. We went on Valentines day and every table was presented with a rose on the table. Not realizing we were one of the last tables to leave we didnt feel rushed by staff at all and were passed more roses before leaving. Would definitely love to come back for their seasonal menus.

WHT is always stellar at cocktails. They usually change up the menu and while not every new item is out of the park amazing, many are. Their cocktails, however, are always consistently amazing. Every choice is a safe choice. One of my favorite ways to dine at WHT is to grab a seat at the bar when we make an impromptu visit without reservations. It's nice to do apps and drinks while enjoying the chill vibe. The bartenders here are top notch and their sister restaurant Adelita's also has the same consistently amazing cocktails as well.

Nestled in the downtown area of Concord, this farm to table is a great spot for a family dinner or date night. All of the ingredients in the menu options are locally sourced. Even though we were seated at a 2-top, the bar seemed enticing for a future visit, fully stocked with local spirits and beverages. For weekend evening parking, we used the lot outside the restaurant and there's also street parking available.

Cozy yet upscale restaurant with a rustic vibe. Friendly and attentive wait staff. Variety of fresh and unique dishes bursting with flavor. Pricing is on the higher side, yet worth it, in my opinion. I would recommend this spot for a date night or special night out.

An unassuming location with a great menu and staff. The ambiance is very laid back and casual. The food and drink are fantastic. Our server Dan is very knowledgeable on the menu, and very friendly. The manager Ian was our sommelier and he was also great. The drinks are well balanced and unique expressions of classics. The food was extremely flavorful. We enjoyed the beet salad, duck frille crostini, pork belly, and pastrami pierogi appetizers. For mains, we had potato crusted cod, smoked duck leg, fusille with bolognese, and short rib. Finally, we shared a baked Alaska for dessert. A great and enjoyable dinner for all.

My boyfriend and I.

The interior is still very similar as far as the layout, but obviously a whole new coat of paint and decor instead. It almost reminds me a bit of a seafaring restaurant, but still not that different from how the 99 was with the size, walls, booths, hallways, etc. But there are other 99s and this new restaurant is pretty great overall, especially for a wonderfully flavorful, hearty burger and fries. I also had some of a companion's order, this interesting sesame chicken dish with seaweed salad and a half avocado filled with sauce, which was different and I'm not really sure why it was there, much as I like avocado. The chicken tasted great and was the highlight of that dish. The menu is nice and varied, so I'd be curious to try some of their other dishes, like the pizza. The service is great even when it's busy, and it's a pretty comfortable atmosphere.

Overall the food tasted pretty healthy despite having pork belly and chorizo. The seasoning was definitely on the lighter side, where the french onion soup was tasting pretty close to an extremely light broth. Tried the cassoulet which I've heard of before but never seen on a menu. It was very hearty but also a but bland. Pulled pork and pork belly seemed to have zero salt. Duck leg confit also very bland. It was cooked well but just bland. The dishes with citrus were quite tasty. Beets and arugala salad very good, good quality goat cheese. Alligator chorizo grilled oysters surprisingly good. Never had alligator chorizo before but it was crispy and not fatty even though it resembled bacon visually. The oysters were small, even more small in comparison to the chorizo but it was a good bite. I would recommend skipping the clam chowder, french onion soup (not really caramelized onions to be honest), and the cassoulet unless you feel empowered to salt your own food. The clientele was definitely in the 60+ range. Nothing wrong with that obviously but tastes change with age and maybe thats why the seasoning was so light. Today there were just two wait staff for the whole place. Seemed understaffed and it took almost thirty minutes for food to come out. Waiting for the check took about fifteen minutes. Staff was nice but definitely overloaded. Today was a holiday though.

We had a reservation for a celebratory dinner, and I commented to ask if the special would still be on for that date. The chef/owner responded immediately that it would. Knowing specials often run out quickly, I called on the morning of the reservation, and a hostess said, yes, the special was still on. So we got there, we ordered, and we asked for the special -- the waitress said she'd confirm, and then came back and just said 'no, it was just for that day,' which was confusing. I explained that the chef and the hostess had confirmed that it was still on the menu and asked if it had run out -- again, understandable -- and she said it 'was just something we made for an influencer.' At that point, I didn't want to press the two 'no' answers, so we finished the dinner and moved on. I reached out privately after the fact as I wanted to see if there was a better way I could have communicated to the restaurant or asked for clarification, and asked if there was a better way to confirm information moving forward, and they never responded. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back.

We expressed disappointment, but they then checked with the Kitchen staff and said sure if you order right away we would be happy to serve you. We were thrilled! We ordered drinks and had food, and it was all wonderful. We loved the speakeasy, vibe, the custom cocktails, and the impressive and carefully curated alcohol options at the bar. The service was wonderful and friendly. We thought, oh great, this is going to be our go to place in town, we'll be here frequently! Our next visit was completely different. I called ahead of time to check on availability, mention that we prefer to sit at the bar, and confirm that they do not take reservations at the bar, but that there were tables available. So we had it in. When we arrived, we clearly saw at least four open seats at the bar. But we were informed that those seats were reserved. I mentioned that I had just called to confirm that there were seats available and confirmed that bar seats could not be reserved. Well, that was perplexing. And there was no genuine apology, no mention that they might be sorry about the confusion, let us see what we can do... Ultimately, the hostess, did checked with some folks and found that there was a table that we could have. So we sat down for our meal. The service this night was decidedly different, and we couldn't help feeling like we'd forced our way into a private club that we really weren't welcomed at. That was a few months ago, and we haven't been back since.

The room was nice and it was just fun to be in a historic place. Highly recommend. If you end up with a burger, which was fantastic, sub the sweet potato fries. The Indian pudding was a great nostalgic dessert to have -- it tasted like a thick pumpkin pie, but with a bit of a chai type spice and topped with delicious vanilla ice cream. Honestly next time I might order these as my entree with a salad or something because I liked them that much. For my entree I ordered the Lobster Roll. Ended with an Indian pudding which was good but not my favorite dessert ever. Heard a bunch of surrounding tables ordering it so I wanted to try it. They bring you cornbread and rolls in the beginning which I thought was nice as well. Our waitress did a good job despite how many tables she had to juggle, so props to her. Pricey dinner but overall I think it was worth it. I would try another entree next time however it was good. I like the charm this place has inside and I hope they keep it this original for years to come.
