Friendly service with all types of options from standard Cafe items to Korean influenced entrées. We ordered Bibimbap, at first it seemed small for the price, but it filled you up. Came with an egg on top, and all the ingredients were very fresh - Wife gave it two thumbs up !!! Very tasty & the we were checked on often by who I am assumed was the wife. Solid little café... I'll have to come back to try more! The chipotle chicken wrap was ok... Nothing special but hit the spot with some added hot sauce. However, the Cobb salad was really good! It was a good size, they tossed the dressing in automatically, and the chicken was fresh and tender off the grill. Will definitely come again to try more... The only downside are the prices are a little high. I thought the Cobb salad was expensive... I paid $14.99 for the salad but the chipotle chicken wrap was reasonably priced at $9.99. read more

The male owner of the business lacks personality and customer service skills. He does not speak when spoken to. He gives a blank, dead eyed star as you place your order. When he rings you up, he doesn't even open his mouth to state the total. His demeanor is cold and rude. He will not get my hard earned money. read more

This is a breakfast and lunch place that closes at 4. By 2 pm lots of items are gone from the salad bar. I got the bi bim bap which was tasty. The salad bar is very standard fare and not a lot of it. Maybe this place is happening around noon. Lots of tables plus outdoor seating. Probably not worth a destination unless you're in the area needing a quick bite. read more

I don't understand why the portion sizes are so small for the amount of money you pay for it. I paid $6 for a omelette and home fries and I got a spoonful of potatoes and a half of an omelette. They can afford to give more than a third of a potato and what looks like one egg spreaded thin. The lunch is the same..you get a total of 12 fries for $3. I'm over it now. read more

I worked in Canal Center for 2 years and this little cafe is one of the best cafes in an office building I have experienced. Monday thru Friday they have a hot bar, salad bar and a kitchen that can cook you anything from a delicious steak and cheese sub, to taco salad, to bi bim bap, to poke bowls, and much much more. Reasonably priced and they have daily specials too. Great breakfasts too! The breakfast sammies are classics and their breakfast burritos are excellent. I must say I am pleasantly surprised with the price and quality of the food at this deli compared to shops in close proximity. The range of food offered is very wide and freshly cooked. I love their cheese, egg, sausage breakfast sandwich for $2.99. Great portion size, price and very flavorful. For lunch the food bar also opens on top of the regular menu, and you can even get some pretty tasty asian food, as the shop is ran by koreans. Great little deli-type spot in the Waterfront Plaza area of Alexandria. They have all the standard sandwiches, a hot food bar, and a decent salad bar but for me, the standout is the Korean food. They have bibimbap and a Korean Express lunch that includes a protein (bulgogi, spicy pork, chicken teriyaki, or salmon), rice (white or brown), and three sides of banchan. The banchan options include the standards like kimchee, oi-muchim (spicy cucumber), bean sprouts, spinach, etc... Great food, nice people, and inexpensive. Good stuff. read more

Down to earth asian run lunchtime cafe. This place maintains a pretty good quality and so generally people come back for more. Never had a sandwich I didn't like, the hot bar is pretty tasty and the cold bar is of a good quality every day. No frills environment, reasonable price, nice people who pay attention to your needs which for a lunchtime cafe is pretty good. Only open during the day. No ambiance there of course. This is the epitome of "Mom and Pop" joint, they make exceptional food, it's quick and always hits the spot. My wife and I have been coming here for lunch for a few years and they remember us and what we usually order (big plus for me). The bulgogi is fantastic, their sandwiches are great and the place just has a simple flare that focuses on what matters, good, fresh food, fast and friendly service and they really recognize you (without wasting a bunch of time on bs small talk chit chat, which isn't to say they're not friendly, they just are about their business which I personally love). I started using this deli after the Fairfax Deli closed last year. I work in the area and Fairfax was my choice because of the good food and courteous staff. I thought Woodstock was going to be the same regarding staff. Food is ok although I have not tried too many items from their menu. The staff (one at the register and the lady taking orders, assuming here they are the owners?) are not friendly nor they have much customer service training. I called ahead to order a wrap from their menu. It was an avocado wrap that featured vegetables and two different kinds of cheese, and to my surprise there was no cheese at all. Just avocado, lettuce, cucumber, green peppers and roasted red pepper, no dressing. So I called to ask, I thought there had been a mistake and forgotten to add the cheese. Well, the answer that I received was rude and they told me the menu was wrong, that the wrap I ordered had no cheese. First of all, they should have told me when I ordered about their menu being wrong. And secondly, I wasn't expecting a refund or anything like that, but it would have been nice not to feel like I was a bad person because I called to ask. It is not a cheap place and 7 dollars for a wrap with just some avocado, lettuce and veggies it's too much, in my opinion. Just wished the person who spoke to me had better manners! I try to get something new whenever I visit and have never been disappointed. Good mix of hot and cold foods and a lot of refreshing drinks. The staff here are very friendly and I've always been greeted warmly when I come in. They really do seem to pay attention to what you want when you order, and the prices are very reasonable.
