Truffle Chicken Deviled Eggs
Amy B.

Conveniently located in the Timberlane plaza, near a large medical group practice, and Timberlane Chiropractic (see review). The interior of the restaurant was a bit dark for my vibe, so I ate out on the patio, which was lovely. Service was pretty good considering I was the only person dining outside, but could have been a bit more attentive. Very interesting menu options, and very reasonably priced at the 3:00 PM happy hour. Not the "best and freshest" sushi I've ever had, but still top notch given the rural FL, inland location. I'll admit that I'm a sushi snob after living in Portland, Oregon, and Boca Raton, FL. I reserve a 5-star rating for sushi that really knocks my socks off. That said, World Fusion offers some of the best sushi I've had in this locale, and gets bonus points for creativity. Posting a photo of the outstanding truffle deviled eggs I enjoyed there, which stand out as the BEST I've ever had. Worth a stop just to check those out, IMO.

The food is excellent & the service is top notch. If you're looking for a scratch made meal with an amazing atmosphere then this is the place. We love to support this restaurant as they continually support our community and give back where ever they can.

Best sushi rolls EVER. Love this place. Fresh and the service is outstanding, can't wait to go back.

I love to dine at this restaurant! Me and my husband went there recently for our anniversary and it was fantastic. I've never left disappointed. Great food, drinks, and service! Love supporting our local small businesses.

Gem in an otherwise dry area for great food. Ton of variety to pick from and the sushi is pretty good!

My wife got sick after eating there. Nuff said. Simple fish dish. Either fish was bad or not cook properly.

Just tried it for the first time. Got a sushi lunch special to go. Everything was packaged nicely and the fish was fresh. Very good lunch.

Inconsistent, lousy slow service, teenagers making sushi. Overrated. Some of the worst sashimi I've ever had.

We did the all you can eat and it was a lot! Their rule is you'll be charged for excess waste so we were sure to eat everything we ordered. We ordered: edamame, seaweed salad, cucumber salad, spring rolls, fancy roll, yum yum roll, rainbow rolls, dragon roll, spicy tuna hand roll, miso soup, karaange chicken, and sesame balls. I ended with strawberry ice cream. The only thing I would not order again was the sesame ball app. Everything else was decent at its price point. For unlimited sushi in the area this is your spot.

So you pay a fee for all you can eat -- I think $28. The non-sushi items come quickly. The sushi takes a little while. My friend ordered some scallops, and he said they were good. We also ordered some Gyoza, ginger and seaweed salads which were good. We ordered 4 types of sushi, and I thought they were all 3/10. They did not taste freshly made, more like they had been sitting in a refrigerator and then plated and garnished after we ordered. Also, the texture was off on each roll I tried. The fish tasted extremely cheap. And then there's the delay in getting the sushi -- I wondered if the long time for sushi delivery was intentionally done hoping the customer fills up on other all-you-can-eat items. I also ordered the clear soup, which tasted like dirt and was one of the most disgusting soups I've ever tried. The servers were nice. The robot was a little gimmicky, especially since a human server follows the robot and puts the items on the table from it. But, maybe that's a harbinger to our future of serving our robot overlords. Eh.

It's a charming old Florida house converted into separate dining rooms/areas. Our server was the bartender/server for our table so we kept our orders basic. Dirty Martini, House Cab and House Chardonnay and a cranberry and Vodka. Loved the interesting dates wrapped in bacon app. Hubby ordered the twin tails. They were healthy tails I must say and I had the Delmonico. Food was all terrific. Will go again for sure.

I started w/ a glass of sangria (Which was excellent!). I'd highly suggest trying the sangria! I also Ordered a bottle Pere' water. We were given a bread, which was ok...I asked for some oil & balsamic, or a pesto...it appeared I was an alien by the servers reaction "we got olive oil and butter". So I stepped that. We ordered our starters and knew our mains, the server said she delay putting in the ticket until we were close to finishing our apps, she did a great job, it was seamless! Apps were scalloped scallops and figs wrapped in bacon, then smoked or grilled. The figs were delicious, the scallops needed seasoning and was ok. Ok Ceaser, could have used a better dressing, more authentic style would be nice...but it was pretty bland, but good ingredients. I ordered the pork shop w/ gravy (ask for the gravy, You want the gravy). My wife wanted prime rib, but that was off the menu tonight. Instead a NY strip prepared basics the same... She wasn't impressed. I thought it was OK, I think she had her heart set on the prime rib. Upon finishing, the server came, cleared the table and offered a check and no mention of deserts This is an honest review, not 5* but a good meal!

We've been searching for a place that consistently delivers quality, and unfortunately, this wasn't it. I ordered my usual volcano roll along with another house roll, while my son chose two different house rolls. The restaurant being a bit busy gave me some hope, but that didn't translate to the food. The volcano roll was a letdown from the first bite. The second roll was slightly better, but still nothing I'd go back for. My son enjoyed his meal, though his standards are a bit more forgiving than mine. One noticeable issue was the rice--there was so little of it that the nori was visible through the roll. Rice is the most basic and cost-effective ingredient, and skimping on it made the rolls feel lacking in both substance and balance. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the food. The presentation was solid, but that alone isn't enough to carry the experience. Service and ambiance were decent, but not standout. 2 out of 5 stars. TTFN

There must've been 7-8 tables occupied while we were eating lunch but service was efficient. My wife, always eager to try new things, ordered the Tofu Teriyaki bento with fried gyoza instead of shrimp shumai (shellfish allergies). She also ordered an Alaska roll. I opted for the Hibachi Combo of steak and shrimp. I also ordered a Spicy Tuna roll. Upon tasting the tofu teriyaki, my wife's eyes got big and said OMG! She was wowed by the flavors! She thinks, for that dish alone, Akita deserves 5 stars! So here I am updating my review. Perhaps my wife will keep on ordering this dish for our future visits.
