What a great simple menu of corndogs cheese sticks and soda! Doesn't get much better on a cool night in Vegas. They have two sizes of corn dogs hotlinks and cheese sticks. The batter was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice cornmeal flavor. Why why why why why! More on this later. Went to the food truck festival in Sunset Park yesterday and I knew I wanted to try this place first...but I wasnt that hungry so I thought I would get the pepper jack cheese dog first, its basically a corn dog breading with cheese inside and its AMAZING. The corndogs are HUGE but I didnt get one as I was not that hungry yet and I had also promised a friend who was there, a Vegan, that I would try a Veggie burger and thats the why why why part. Probably one of the best corndog I've eaten, but remember it's a food truck serving Carnival food. For the size of the Corndog I think the Price is fair and not overpriced like some of these food trucks. Not the worlds best and very far from it. They have such nerve to claim this but then again it is "self-proclamation". They claim to hang out in areas where there are not many restaurants and as far as I'm concerned they need to stay there. After hearing about them I decided to give them a try by attending the Foodie Fest at the M Resort. I really have to say that it was most likely the batter that made the corn dog taste like crap. I ordered the regular size which was much too large, especially if you are supposed to be on a sodium restricted diet, and don't want to eat 3 days worth of fat grams. WBC truck ended up around the corner from me off Aliante Parkway and Grand Teton. Between my wife mentioning it to me and my barber talking about it one day I figured what the hell. Having a hard time with this review. Decided to do something different for date night w/ the wife and hit up a food truck. So we went tonight and we're sadly unimpressed. I mean nothing was bad but nothing was special or great. When you call yourself "Worlds Best Corndogs" you better have something special. They were just big Corndogs and cheese sticks. We both ordered a Corndog and each ordered a cheese stick (mine cheddar hers pepper jack)I will say the fries were the best part of the meal and you can definitely share an order. My cheese stick was decent but not very flavorful. My wife said hers tasted like mozzarella and had no spice at all. The hot dog inside the corn dog had good flavor similar to a Nathan's hot dog. The sauces were good but nothing special again and instead of being drizzled over the corn dog like they show on their Facebook page, they just handed you small cups to dip into. I feel that it would have been much better drizzled on top of the dog. The cashier did also almost over charge us and we had to correct him. Not sure what the mix up was and not a huge deal. Again nothing really bad to say but nothing really great to say. For $24 bucks I feel like I got kinda cheated and could have gotten something similar at Hot Dog on a Stick and paid less. Yum! There's not much to say-these corn dogs were good! We got a puppy size for our nephews and regular corn dogs for 4 adults. I wasn't able to finish mine and had to give it to my husband. My 3 year old nephew loved it and probably could have finished a regular corn dog. They have a few sauce choices, and we went with honey mustard. I LOVE Disneyland corndogs and these are pretty darn close to the ones there! We went on Valentine's Day...lol...I'm a cheap date (also we are parents now...ha!). These corndogs have a nice crispy exterior and fluffy corndog batter. We got two regular size corndogs, a pepperjack cheese corn stick, and a hot link corndog. The corndogs and hotlinks are on point with flavor. You can eat them alone....but we also got the pineapple brown sugar ketchup. The ketchup is delicious....sweet and tangy with just a hint of spice. Was not a big fan of the cheese stick, there was just too much batter. The ones with hot dogs/links/brats have a better meat to bread ratio. Make sure to check your order before you drive off....they short changed me by one corn dog. Given they were pretty busy that night, I'll give them a pass. I went back and they gave me my other corn dog right away. I know other trucks sometimes set up some tables or places for people to sit. This place has no seating, so BYOC or sit in your car. Probably better in the spring time when the weather is better and there's more daylight. When we went it was a little chilly and pitch black out. I heard about this truck from a foodie review on Facebook. I'm a huge corn dog fan. There location stops are kind of a drive but I'm so happy they are away from the strip traffic, the location schedule is usually routine and it's super easy to find. The dogs are delicious, come out quick and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Plus as someone that loves sauce more than actual food itself you must appreciate the sauce station!
