Service is super quick since everything is prepared/already made (just kept warm). I tried the hibiscus iced tea - it was okay; a little too tarty and nothing special. Also got two bao buns and they were dry + lack of flavoring, and smaller in size comparison. Out of all the items, the dumplings were the best but still not that great tasting overall. Pretty oily, soggy, but more flavor than the drink and baos. Airport food is pretty pricy but for the items; the baos were $4 each, the dumplings were about $1.25 each and the drink was $3.30. I want to say not bad pricing total of $22.50 for two people but definitely would have rather grabbed a Starbucks sandwich Overall, works recommend 4/10 for quickness to just grab content to eat but not so much for taste~ read more

The good thing is that portions are small so less food will get wasted. I had the Green Vegetable Dumplings. It's about $5 for the small portion. This is seriously such a small portion. In the box were only a few of flimsy modestly sized dumplings. The dumplings amazingly weren't so terrible. It was okay thanks to the side of the soy sauce. This is where most of the flavor was. Inside of the dumplings were not much. There appeared to be some tiny pieces of tofu but there were mostly some minced unidentifiable assorted vegetables. I've never had whole wheat bao before. It was an interesting texture. It was the only bao on menu without meat so that was my only option. The taste was just ok. Lots of different kinds of baos but judging from the taste of the BBQ pork ones, probably not huge differences - dough a little flat, a little dense but not too dense, but end result not very interesting. Ginger chicken dumplings on the small side, definitely had ginger breath afterwards. And my stomach wasn't terribly happy either. OMG.... I wish I could have given minus zero star review. I should never have tried this place. Here are the things that I did not like this store. 1. Two workers were working very slowly, even though there was quite a long line of customers waiting 2. There was no kitchen where the chef was making fresh food. Bows were in the steamers, potstickers were cooked in an oven, and these were fine. BUT main dishes were terrible..... They seemed to be precooked somewhere else. I saw the workers putting frozen plastic bag in hot water baths to just warm up. 3. The worst part was that all the dishes were the same things. Orange chicken and Kanpao chicken were exactly the same. They just added slices of Almond on Kanpao chicken. Also, all the bows had exactly the same meat (not even sure if it was chicken or beef) even though we ordered different ones. Why even they bothered to have them listed as different menu???? Lying to customers in the face didn't make me feel good at all. 4. Finally, the main dish was so highly processed. We couldn't finish the food. They were horrible; there were no freshly cooked ingredients anywhere in our food. 5. I paid waaaaaaaay too much for these horrible food! Conclusion: I will most likely never go back to this joint. Macdonald could have been even better than this place. It is really sad to know that this business was doing well there. Customers have to keep moving with a time crunch at the airport. So, they don't even bother to make complains as we didn't. I have rarely given one star review, but this place well deserved it. I ordered on uber eats (location: 1415 N Danville St, Arlington, Va 22201, Usa) The portion size for the kungpao was tiny. The way the baos were packed was somewhat bizzare.. I had ordered the 6 pack of baos, 4 chicken and 2 dessert: coconut custard. They put all of the baos together and sprinkled scallion on top of all of them. I washed the scallions off of the coconut custard baos before eating them.. the taste of the chicken teriyaki baos was somewhat weird, the chicken teriyaki ones didn't taste like teriyaki and the flavor was closer to the kung pao chicken on the rice bowl that I had also ordered, which is not to say that the kung pao tasted good either. My Friend got food from here before boarding his flight; it was subpar. I was going to order breakfast, but they had run out before 9AM. I told them since breakfast was out I would just order closer to my flight time (noon), and proceeded to take a seat. However they wouldn't let me sit if I didn't order now.
