They assured us they protect against cross contamination, use GF soy sauce in their marinades & sauces, and "bread" fried items in potato starch instead of flour. Our server was knowledgeable, confirmed with the owner/chef that our orders were safe for us, and checked in to ensure our satisfaction. Trying to find a place to eat between Houston and Alvin, my friend and I compromised on Pearland and we struggled for quite a while finding any restaurants in the area that neither of us would regret driving 30 minutes for. She was actually the one who brought up this place, and I was skeptical after a quick glance on Yelp. The cuisine categories are American, Mexican, and Asian and the restaurant interior and exterior are pretty unassuming. It's definitely a comfort food restaurant with the HUGE portions and savory dishes. The "small" fusion fries would put a McDonald's large to shame and the BBQ pork spring rolls were 2-3 times the size of a normal spring roll. As you can guess, my fusion burrito was also ridiculously large. When it arrived at the table, I was already stuffed from the springrolls so when I didn't see the eggroll that was supposed to come with my burrito, I wasn't even upset. A couple minutes later, I realized the eggroll was wrapped up in the burrito! I already miss this place and would make the drive out here in a heartbeat. My go-to is their crepe with really any protein they have (filet mignon, Mongolian chicken, chicken, etc.) and two dipping sauces but there's a lot to like on their menu. Their loaded fries rival any top food truck in town. Their udon or lo mein noodles are also fantastic. I haven't really had anything I didn't like. I most recently stopped by on a Tuesday for dinner to take advantage of their Tuesday promotion: 10 wings and fried rice for $9.99. You have the choice of teriyaki, tamarind, BBQ, or one other option that's escaping me. The wings are large and juicy and the fried rice complements them well. If you like excellent Chinese (style) food, pray for China Garden to come back with their Cantonese cooking. But If you just like lots of food, very carb/ meat heavy, then Wrap & Roll is your place. They could shorten their menu a lot by just listing the meat options and then the rice/noodle/etc.--the stuff you can get them on. It's all the same. I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in. It was literally love at first bite. Since then I have dined in this restaurant about 5 times and ordered To-Go several times. I am completely and shamelessly addicted to their food. They are located directly on Old Chocolate Bayou at the eve of a small shopping center to the right of Kroger and McDonald's. I love their take on a pho vermicelli bowl. The fresh spinach, grilled onions and crispy honey seared beef really sets their dish apart from others. You don't even need fish sauce but I'm greedy so I always ask for some. The spreg rolls are legendary. If you don't try these you are doing yourself a disservice. Not even in my wildest food dreams could I have imagined the perfect crispy egg roll (Cha Gio) wrapped inside the perfect fresh spring roll. Then to top it off... They have the audacity to create a sauce that is really two yummy sauces combined. Honestly and truly it's sheer genus. We've also had the whiskey fried rice, Ginger beef broccoli, Mongolian chicken and other dishes but when I visit there are really only two dishes on my mind... We pulled in to Wrap & Roll which is nestled on the corner and google maps almost made us ride right past it. Our drink order was taken and menus were dropped. My husband showed me photos and I knew what I wanted to eat but didn't know the name because it wasn't listed on the photos. The waiter said he would guess whenever I had the photos handy. We ordered 3 appetizers and two entrees. It was a very large amount of food. The first appetizer I "ordered" but realized I should of clarified that I changed my mind. No issue. We LOVED it and I'm glad I didn't even bring up my order "issue." So we had an order of Spregrolls, house fries and two versions of fried rice. My husband ordered steak egg rolls also. He loved it!! My order tasted better than any photo I saw, could take or even imagine. Photos don't do the service or food justice. The amount of food you receive for the price is more than worth it. We had lunch for the next day after leaving super full. I would come back again and again. The servers were nice, made conversations, complimented my husbands choice is rings, water refills without asking... This hidden gem was worth going after! On a whim I was browsing Yelp when I came across this fusion spot. As soon as we pulled up, we were greeted at the door with friendly faces. The meats aren't fancy cuts or super tender or anything but everything tastes good. Things run a bit on the sweet side. Underneath the top layer of fried chicken and egg, the ultimate fried rice has more than twice as much meat as rice.
