Never had a better tuna tartar before tonight. Just the right crunch and spice and pop! Cucumber salad and clear soup were delightful as usual.

    Me time:) Sip, sip hooray!

A quick solo bite (whispering, do not tell my family). lol I honestly order the same thing when I go. I like what I like and when I have a "hankering" for a particular meal, I go get it. *screaming* Wu's House does EVERYTHING WELL! Ok, well that is my bias opinion. I enjoy the kind gesture of the edamame starter they bring out. Salty yummy pods of love. Always tasty! Sip, Sip, HOORAY! I ordered my favorite adult juice by the name of " The Icy Pear". This bad sip is strong, tangy and RIGHTEOUS! Have a designated driver on speed dial because you won't have just one, and it will have you RIGHT! lol Ohhhh yes baby! Flavors of sweet pear puree' and vodka shaken not stirred please. YES MA'AM AND SIRS! Look, just order one when you stop in! I ordered the Kani salad. It has lettuce (of course), crab, fish eggs, crunchy loving on top, spicy mayo....hmmm, I feel like I am forgetting something. lol Welp, IT IS GOOD. Just order it, chew and smile and swallow. Trust me, it is indeed the beez kneez! Now one of my favorite rolls is the "Angel Hair Roll". It is like the sassy cousin to the Kani salad. It has everything (almost) that the salad has but in a sushi roll. There is fried shrimp, green apple slices (yes, green apple slices. Trust me, the flavors in this roll will make your tongue SING), crab, fish eggs and crunchy tempura on top. OMG! If you have NOT tried this lovely, I don't wanna be friends with you. It is a MUST MUNCH! The services was fast, quick, interactive and fun! Moral of the story friends, GO GET YOURSELF SOME! That is an order. lol Just kidding! It's just so good, I want others to smile along with me!

I love this restaurant! The Mokena location was my first introduction to Wu's House. We always get seated quickly, even when it's super busy. The staff is usually attentive. I greatly enjoy the edamame they bring to the table. Also, I love the Happy Roll. I get it almost every time I go. Try the Fire Roll for a cool experience, they bring it to you on fire! The ginger salad is phenomenal, but I will caution you, they put a ton of dressing on it (which I LOVE!) The gyoza is an outstanding appetizer, I love the sauce that comes with it. Any meal we get is always delicious and the portion sizes are huge. The orange chicken +fried rice combo is wonderful. The house special fried rice, basil fried rice, and the curry fried rice are AMAZING. My family and I highly recommend this place! Even though the food is a little pricey for certain items, the quality is well worth it.

The food is delicious the ambiance is sophisticated and very clean. I had the baked scallops for an appetizer. The dragon roll and the lobster roll for sushi. And baby when I tell you they do not skimp on the food!!!! I was full after a couple of bites. I had the White Peach and Leeches sake and they were so good I ordered both bottles to go! The host and the waiters are top tier. I enjoyed eating here and will come back.

We have seen these popping up all over and wanted to try one. I was very underwhelmed and felt like everything we ordered was meh. The staff was nice and attentive so it's a nonissue but as other reviews stated they have mandatory 18% gratuity. The spicy general's chicken tasted more like orange chicken from Panda. The spicy salmon rolls and hibachi teriyaki beef were both missing depth and flavor. Just not very impressed.

OMG THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD! Everything that touched my plate was so good. The dumplings were hot and the felling was fresh and flavorful. My sushi was perfection. We has the sweetest server ever he was so attentive and made sure we were happy with our food. We sat ate and enjoyed each other's company. Everything was good worth it 10/10.

This place is everything and more. I live in the area and I tried one of their lunch specials to go and the food was fresh, hot and flavorful. You get delectable food at a great price. The lunch specials run about $9.00 dollars each per person. Very modern and upscale on the inside. The Mongolian beef and the sizzling pepper steak were seasoned and tender. My egg drop soup was pippin hot and my girlfriend loved the cucumber salad so much she turned up the bowl and drank the juice from the salad. I will return for the dine in experience!

I've always loved this place for their takeout and during the lockdown they have not let us down! Their carry out containers are sturdy, not just to keep our food fresh but hold the presentation the whole way home. My leftover sushi even tasted fresh still the next day. Thankful for a place i can rely on "even in these uncertain times."

Just open in the old Applebee's location and completely renovated. Right by the LaPorte light

Long time Woow customer which is owned by the same local chain. I believe the Woow location across the street will close. They have a good business with take out and get very busy. Great value and food quality. We have tried take out many times and also eaten in the restaurant. They will take care of any mistakes with great customer service. Very friendly staff that will take care of you! My favorites are the Dragon and Godzilla rolls. Also recommended is the All-you-can-Eat lunch menu, which is available Monday-Saturday 11:30am-:2:30pm for $21.99. Awesome value with miso soup and ginger salad!

Online it says all you can eat on Saturday.... THAT IS A LIE!
    Chrissy T.

The food is always delicious and service is great. This is my favorite place and have waited 2 years to have sushi due to being pregnant and the pandemic. I was SO excited for sushi. We got here and they decided TODAY they will no longer have all you can eat on Saturdays. I checked your website before we drove 45 minutes. Such a disappointment after being a loyal customer before pregnancies... UPDATE YOUR WEBSITES- FALSE ADVERTISING

Ok so new review cuz different experience. First, new carpaccio dish is delicious. Large slices of…read moreassorted very fresh fish with a light delightful sauce and nice garnishes. I ended up dipping my sashimi pieces in the sauce. The baked mussels are always yummy. Seaweed salad is a huge portion, way more than expected so hopefully they don't charge if you don't finish it by yourself! Tempura veggies were good but somehow the tempura shrimp seemed almost like the frozen ones you get at the grocery store, but the usual super light tempura, but still good. Dragon roll is my favorite though it could use more eel than avocado on top. Only yucky thing was Spicy 2 in 1c which menu says is spicy tuna, salmon & avocado inside, wrapped in soybean paper with chili sauce but instead came with avocado on top with a TON of plain mayo under the licensure sauce. I think it's in a previous photo but honestly this time it was drenched and really, I hate plain mayo so I tried to scrape it off but it was overwhelming & had to lose the avocado when I scraped it off so I just couldn't eat it. The fish seemed to have been cut with a lot of tempura flake also so it wasn't even luscious like it should be with just fish and spicy mayo, and there was quite a lot of rice too, so it was very bland. The server Satya was SUPER nice & apologetic, offered to redo without mayo, but I was just kind of done by then; he was great all around l, nit his fault. So I got my delightful tempura banana and called it a day. Suggestion is to clearly state what's on/in the rolls to avoid misunderstanding. The menu photo does not show mayo on top at all. Finally, note that Sat & Sun are dinner prices for AYCE even at lunch which I didn't know until I sat down but was already set for sushi so paid the $42 with tax/tip for lunch and felt kinda unhappy. I didn't get that much so didn't feel with it. Quality, ambiance, and service are still good and I do recommend with these caveats.

Stopped in for lunch the other day and found the experience to be just okay overall. We started…read morewith the gyoza, edamame, and ordered a brown sugar boba latte, which were all perfectly fine and the best part of the meal. All just, okay. Unfortunately, the sushi missed the mark for us. The California roll had massive chunks of avocado, making it a bit gross to eat texture wise, and we ended up leaving it unfinished. I also ordered the dragon roll, but only ate 4 of the 10 pieces because it was quite chewy and had a really odd flavor profile that I just didn't enjoy. On a positive note, our waiter was incredible. He was super attentive, kind, and excellent at his job. However, the overall vibe and interior weren't very welcoming, and the women's bathroom was incredibly dark.

After eating here 7 times now, I can say this place is pretty amazing. It gets better every time we come in. Opening weeks here were pretty rough- huge crowds, service was slow, etc, everything you'd expect from a popular new joint in a town that has needed a sushi restaurant. Every time I have been in since, though, it gets better and better. The waitstaff are now seasoned and can handle busy nights with ease. Bartenders make awesome and unique cocktails. The main draw is the cuisine, though. It's Korean/Japanese fusion. Beyond sushi, they have some exceptional Korean-inspired dishes. Even my super finicky daughters find stuff on the menu they love. My wife and sons love all the sushi, while I like to bounce around and try anything interesting and new. The ambience is super cool, and the servers know their stuff. It's so fantastic to have a place like this in downtown Frankfort. While we love our longtime restaurants, it's great having new stuff to enjoy- especially food as unique and creative as this. 5 well-deserved stars.

The restaurant is located in what appeared to be a very safe and affluent area, with plenty of parking available and a nice park nearby that's perfect for a walk after dinner. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but the food was excellent. We especially loved the tuna roll and eel roll. Both tasted incredibly fresh; honestly, it felt like the chef had just caught the fish moments before preparing it. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. One minor complaint was the water. It was served without ice and tasted somewhat bland. I'm not sure if it was heavily filtered or just sitting at room temperature, but it was lukewarm and not particularly refreshing. Our waitress was fantastic: very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the meal. The only service issue we encountered was that the busser cleared one of our plates before we had completely finished eating, which made us feel a little rushed. Overall, it was a great dining experience with outstanding food, excellent service, and a sophisticated atmosphere. While the prices are high, the quality of the sushi makes it well worth considering for a special occasion.

Apparently this is actually a family owned regional restaurant chain only in Chicago burbs and NW Indiana. Everyone at our table decided on something different and we all left satisfied. I was good, but it wasn't over the top exceptional. I did find it a bit pricey, but the portions are very large compared to what you typically get elsewhere. The hibachi is a giant portion of food that our whole table could have shared. I also noticed how great the beef tasted, this I will say was above average. I was a bit skeptical ordering the sushi but was pleasantly surprised at how fresh it tasted. It was also very well prepared and plated. I would say the food here a bit more heavily seasoned /salty than the average Japanese hibachi, but it still left us full and happy. When he dropped ff the drinks he left again without taking our order. This seemed to be the way service was going to be and it was. Food was slow, forgot the soup I ordered. On a positive note we ordered hot & sour soup, an appetizer platter and the chicken dumplings. The sweet and sour soup arrived only after I mentioned I had ordered it and we had already started on our other food. The soup was spicy which I enjoyed, it was filled with vegetables and some pieces of chicken. The broth was a little thin for my taste but overall it was good. The appetizer platter included 2 battered shrimp which were a little overwhelmed by the heavy breading, 2 egg rolls that were decently filled with vegetables and a nice proportion of pork, 2 crab rangoons that were filled nicely and had a good taste, 2 pieces of breaded chicken that were not dry, 2 beef on a stick which were enjoyed and a portion of bbq pork which was tender and sauced nicely. The chicken dumplings came in an order of 8. They were tasty but there could have been more chicken.
