Visited Mo's Chinese Kitchen on a Tuesday afternoon. We were seated right away but it took a while for our server to arrive at the table. He brought us waters, but then departed again. He came back and asked if we were ready to order and we told him we'd like to order a couple drinks. It took a while for the drinks. When he dropped ff the drinks he left again without taking our order. This seemed to be the way service was going to be and it was. Food was slow, forgot the soup I ordered. On a positive note we ordered hot & sour soup, an appetizer platter and the chicken dumplings. The sweet and sour soup arrived only after I mentioned I had ordered it and we had already started on our other food. The soup was spicy which I enjoyed, it was filled with vegetables and some pieces of chicken. The broth was a little thin for my taste but overall it was good. The appetizer platter included 2 battered shrimp which were a little overwhelmed by the heavy breading, 2 egg rolls that were decently filled with vegetables and a nice proportion of pork, 2 crab rangoons that were filled nicely and had a good taste, 2 pieces of breaded chicken that were not dry, 2 beef on a stick which were enjoyed and a portion of bbq pork which was tender and sauced nicely. The chicken dumplings came in an order of 8. They were tasty but there could have been more chicken. Our overall experience was slightly affected by the slow service and the fact that our server seemed distant and disengaged. We enjoyed our food an will return. read more

This is my go-to Chinese kitchen when I'm in the area. It's small and local restaurant that is well kept and clean. The food is always made fresh which adds to the rich taste of their dishes. Typically dishes are ordered and shared with 2-3 people which makes it affordable if visiting with a group. Service is professional and attentive. Although, I've had to break it to them that this isn't authentic Chinese... I have to admit that we went to Mo's with low expectations. But we were pleasantly surprised. From the outside the restaurant is not exactly attractive. Just a regular storefront in a strip mall. Once inside you will find a better than the average decor. Nice. Modern pleasant and the best part, clean. The menu is pretty big with a large offering of sushi. We ordered what we regularly order in all Chinese restaurants: Orange chicken, mixed Lo mein and the combo fried rice. Much better than the average with decent amounts of protein. The orange chicken was very good. All white meat and crispy in a decent sauce. My mom loved it. This was our 1st time there and we will be back. Solid 4 stars and better than most around the area. Service was ok but didn't like pickup area right inside the door so tables near the door had takeout customers standing above the table during the meal. Bad logistics. I ordered for take out Mongolian beef, white rice, chicken & rice soup and egg rolls. I waited at the restaurant 20 mins. I thought by waiting there for it, my food would be fresh and hot. I live exactly 5 minutes away from this place. My food was luke warm at best. The beef was very chewy. The egg rolls left A LOT to be desired. The soup had absolutely NO FLAVOR. I reported this to the manager. They said they would replace the meal, but I would have to call in 1st for it. So, a week later, I did just that. When I arrived I get a lecture on why some food is hot and some is cold for take out. Never heard of such a thing. So there is a homeless man always on the corner of 158th and LaGrange Ave by Starbucks. I gave the replacement food to him. I won't EVER go back to Mo's. read more

The last few times that I ordered from there the food was watery and runny! I don't know what changed there because I always get take-away!

I've been here many times and I really love the food here. There is plenty of variety to choose from on the menu, and it is well-seasoned. The service is polite and quick. Most recently, upon entering, we were greeted and seated in less than a minute. Our server quickly provided water and asked if we were ready to order. This night, we ordered chicken fried rice, chicken egg foo young, and orange chicken. The fried rice is my favorite at this location, with extra green onions! Our food was delivered to our table in approximately 10 minutes! Not only is the food delicious and quick, but they have also made interior improvements since COVID. The decor is swanky and more modern. The restrooms are always clean, too. read more

When we walked in there was a strong smell of gasoline. When asked, the waitress told us the smell was from the business next door which was being remodeled. We started eating our food and decided the smell was overwhelming. It would be better eating the food cold at home than having to breathe in gasoline fumes. Went there for some takeout. Service was quick, accurate and very friendly which. Looks like a nice place and seems well decorated. I got the shrimp egg foo young and assorted appetizers platter. I was disappointed in Bothe. The egg foo young should have been great. It was fresh, hot and texture was great. The problem was, it could have been anything. Usually the brown sauce has a lot of flavor. This had none. I was totally bummed out. The appetizer platter suffered the same fate. Bland. I would have thought it would come with a sweet and sour sauce. That would have given it a really good flavor, but I wound up with bland chicken nuggets and shrimp surrounded by fried bread. On April 18, 2025, my wife and a group of our friends went to Mo's on Wolf Road. We have been here before and enjoy the food. However, the service that we had was bad. We were seated, but had no silverware. When I asked the male waiter, he said it comes with the dinner. Ordered Tea, but had nothing to stir my sugar in. Everyone else that came into the restaurant got their silverware when they were seated. Had their drinks before us. My wife ordered a smoothie, but wanted to mix the avocado and coconut. He told my wife "no! only one! no mix!." This waiter is rude and ignorant. When we were done with dinner, he never came and took our payment. We tried to pay at the Cashier; however, he came up to us and actually ripped the credit card/money out of our hands and told us "I take payment." If I ever go back here, it will only be for take-out. But after reading some of these reviews about their take out, I might not ever come back here. The food at MO's is average Chinese food. The quality has gone done over the years. Their eggrolls taste like peanut butter, they need to seal them with something different. Their sushi is overpriced and the quality is poor. They could do better. read more

Amazing food, service, and reasonably priced! We came here in a Saturday evening and were seated immediately in the clean and refreshed dining area. The food was so delicious I forgot to take photos before diving in! We ordered the crab Rangoon, which was probably the best Rangoon I have had, egg drop soup, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken lo mein. All of the food was delicious and the portions were very filling! Highly recommend! read more

My husband really enjoyed his pepper beef and potstickers were great I didn't like the house fried rice(no flavor) the Mai Thai was just right and the music was the best made very enjoyable and the food came out really fast very clean spot loved the bathroom would love to have their hand dryer at home!! Mo's used to be my ho to for Chinese foo but a recent dine i experience was very disappointing. My entree lacked flavor and the portion size was considerably smaller than orders in the past. In addition, my water glass was refill with what seemed to be warm tap water. No ice at all. Time to find a new go to place because Mo's has gone down hill. read more

Ah I honestly forgot about this place - but 10 years later, I come back to try all the old favorites that our family used to frequent together. I don't remember what I got before so I just went with the Yelp (and family recs). Yelpers (thanks guys!) suggest the pepper steak chow fun - so we got it and it's great! Really great flavor, tender beef, and the chow fun (it's thick rice noodles) are deliciously al dense. Definitely a go-to choice! The fish is also good here - I don't have the exact order... but my brother doesn't normally eat fish and he eats this fish (lol). Overall, I'm sure most of the food is pretty good here since I came here as a kid - but I can't remember them all anymore :( I'll just have to go back and update this review :) read more

Mo's in Orland Pk is the best Chinese food in the SW suburbs. Great egg rolls too. Their food is not as salty as other chinese restaurants.

The one star is for knowingly serving a dish I didn't order and hoping I didn't notice! I ordered Thai Basil fried rice with jumbo shrimp. (Dine in) I was given regular fried rice...NO BASIL and NO Thai in my dish! I told waiter and he replied that I was right it's regular fried rice and he can have them make what I ordered. WTF?! Mo's just gained a star. They always have been very good in an area with few Chinese restaurants...but they are getting even better. We have been here many times and on the last two visits it seemed a bit different ... different but better different. They may have changed hands or just management/chef, but whatever they did we like it. All the waitstaff seems new and they were all up to the task. For starters we had a couple of egg rolls (4 star good, crispy and not soggy on the bottom). For our entrees we had an order of chicken fried rice (5 star wonderful with soft rice and nice large chunks of chicken), and an order of sweet and sour chicken (4 star almost perfect, with a nice light breading on an item that others usually overdo). The house sweet and sour sauce was also a 5 star knockout...house made and not too runny. Like this place even more now...only wish they'd always offer almond cookies at the end. I picked up lunch combination plates, Wednesday for my sister and I we had the barbecue pork egg foo yung, chicken fried rice and egg rolls . They were delicious one of the best times I have eaten there. Whoever the chef was on Wednesday did a great job the people there are always nice the workers the servers everyone, I would highly recommend this restaurant to dine in or carry out and recently remodeled it looks beautiful read more

Came here for the first time yesterday. I had a honey sesame chicken platter, which came with chicken fried rice, egg roll and egg drop soup. It was $12. Sesame chicken is my absolute favorite thing to get from a Chinese restaurant, but I thought the sauce at this restaurant was a little weird. It just wasn't the kind I'm used to. Also I feel like the chicken was cooked a little too hard in some of the pieces, it didn't feel as fresh. They give good portion sizes. Soup was delicious, chicken fried rice was good. I didn't like the egg roll at all. My fiancé ordered the shrimp egg foo young platter. It also came with chicken fried rice, egg roll, soup. He really liked it. I have given this place one too many chances. Sometimes the food is on point and delicious. Too many times it is burned, chewy/rubbery, dough is undercooked or the order is wrong. The last few orders have been so gross that I am now vowing to never order from here again. Tonight, I was hesitant to order from them. It's a Sunday during football season and it was an hour and a half before close. But I thought, if you're open til 9pm, your food should be fresh that late as well. Wrong. I spent $60 dollars and tipped 20%. My sushi order was wrong and mostly tasted like cream cheese. The jalapeños were cut thickly and there were so many hard seeds that I had to spit it out and check to see what I was chewing. Ribs- burned Sweet and sour chicken- rubber Chicken on a stick- this was the kicker- had such a foul smell that I simply said "nope " and just threw it all away. Called and let them know. They offered to refund the sushi and combo rice I ordered- I didn't even want to ask for anything else- I'll take my 20 bucks back and consider it my lesson learned. Done with Mo's. read more

We ordered two large sweet and sour chicken well done, chicken lo mein and beef and broccoli. The chicken was definitely not well done, the breading was gummy and the chicken pink. I'm not sure what they gave us but it was not lo mein. It was the color of spaghetti noodles. The beef in the beef and broccoli was awful and tasted like the oil was 10 years old! We now live in Palos Hills so when we are in Orland we order for pick up to bring home. Sad to say but for what it costs we will not be ordering again read more

Disclaimer: I've only done takeout from this restaurant as I found out about this place during the pandemic. To this day, I've never eaten at the restaurant or experienced their dine-in service. I really love Mo's Chinese Kitchen. In terms of takeout, you get a lot of food, enough for dinner and even lunch the next day. I've ordered a few things over the course of a year such as pepper beef chow fun, egg foo young, mapo tofu and more. Also when we order online, we usually order enough to get free meals like the California Roll or orange chicken. Everything I've ordered have been very good and tasty. My usual is the pepper beef chow fun. The sauce is so good and covers the noodles. The beef is nice and tender. My other favorite is the mapo tofu. It's got a good amount of spice and flavor. As someone who's not very good with spicy things, I can handle it well. If you're looking for good Chinese food, I highly recommend this location. They're very consistent as well.
