The best FISH IN SPICY AND SOUR SOUP in tri-state area! Must order the black cod. Small is good for 2 people. Monday they have 25 dollars per person all you can eat shrimp. Have 6 kinds of dishes to choose from. The flavor is a little too Americanized I think. Might be good for kids though. I love their FISH IN SPICY AND SOUR SOUP!

I enjoy the food on a Friday night 8:30pm. Ordered the crab roe over rice, pork bellow with bean curd knots and lotus root stuffed with glutinous rice. No crowd and no waiting. Food was delicious. And will come back again to try other things.

Food was perfection, like not a single bad dish! Sweet and sour branzino, perfectly fried and the sauce is well seasoned. Hibachi shrimp was delicious. Scallion noodle especially is extremely additive. Service was amazing! We got food so swiftly. Perfect place to bring friends and family. Well decorated and lit!

Wow wow wow. I am not a fish lover but their fish soup special absolutely blew me away with the balance of flavors. Loved the dan dan noodles and taro appetizer as well. Do not miss out on this spot even though it's hidden on the 2nd floor of this big Asian food complex!

Out of all the dishes we tried, we only really liked the fish in spicy/sour soup (the main option on the menu). We got the black cod, which was a great size to share for 3-4 people. It was flavorful and tender and so delicious! The plate of mushroom and bok choy was nothing special, but it was nice to have vegetables with our meal. The other 2 dishes fell short. The cold jellyfish app was cut into thin strips and had more radish than jellyfish. The Atlantic cod fish noodle soup was bland, and the precooked noodles had all congealed together. If you come here, I highly recommend sticking with the main fish dish. It also came with extra soup in a cute cat pot!

Wu's Fish House in Edison, NJ. Have you ever had Wu's Fish in Spicy and Sour Soup? It was my first time too! They creatively select thirteen different types of fish, including tender river fish commonly found in Eastern cuisine and sea fish often enjoyed in Western cuisine. If you're a shrimp lover, you absolutely have to check out Wu's Fish House, especially on Mondays when they offer the Ultimate Endless Shrimp for just $25! Everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is outstanding. I was blown away by how generous the portions were - usually, with "unlimited" specials, they skimp on the servings, but not here! There are six delicious options to choose from: braised shrimp with vermicelli, pineapple sweet and sour shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp Alfredo linguini, and shrimp Yangchow fried rice. A tip: I highly recommend ordering the braised shrimp with vermicelli and the shrimp Yangchow fried rice last. They come in generous portions, and you want to pace yourself to get the most out of your dining experience. Also, the cast iron skillet the braised shrimp comes in is hot, so be cautious to avoid burns! The flavor is fantastic - good spice, balanced perfectly across each dish. The braised shrimp with vermicelli was a favorite of mine, but the pineapple shrimp definitely stood out as a close second. It's clear Wu's doesn't skimp on quality or portion size. The dining time is capped at two hours, but that's more than enough to enjoy a feast, especially when you're coming with an empty stomach. The only catch? If you don't finish your food and it weighs over a pound, you'll be charged the regular menu price for the leftovers, but honestly, with the portion sizes, it's easy to get your money's worth. I left Wu's Fish House feeling satisfied and full, and it was definitely well worth the value. This is one of those specials you get while you can - don't miss out!

We ordered Pickled Cabbage Fish Soup With Speical Grass Carp(Large), sweet and sour red snapper & white rice. The fish soup was phenomenal and red snapper was delicious in sweet & sour sauce. We all enjoyed all the dishes well. It's a good fish house in Edison and would love to come again to eat.

We went early on a Friday and it was extremely quiet. The food was just okay. This is literally the first time in my life that I ever felt that my food was under salted. I'm very sensitive to salt, but I could barely taste any in my food. My boyfriend said the same. I had fried cod and he had the monkfish soup. We shared an order of dan dan noodles. They had a nice kick to them. No complaints there. I still want to come back and try more things. The ambience is nice with cute artwork on the walls, and the chairs are comfy.

we came here on sunday at 1pm. there were plenty of seats available. food arrived pretty quick after ordering. the interior was clean. food quality was good. broth was a bit plain, I expected it to be creamier... overall, it was good portion for the price. parking is hard to find during peak hours

Hm, I feel that their service went downhill a bit. Had to remind them to get utensils. On top of that, recently had their tonkotsu ramen, it was just not really great at all... Like what happened?

Went for a group lunch with some friends. Though we missed to make reservation, we got a table for 12 with only 15 minutes wait time. Pretty clean modern restaurant with unique style menu. They have several fishes in the menu, you pick one and they cook and serve it in a giant dish. There's also bunch of appetizers, ramen, noodle soups and desserts. I love all the dishes they made. The branzino sour fish soup was so magnificent. The bowl has citrusy flavor soup with red chili, peppers pops, noodles, seafood, vegetables. All of them mixed create an amazing flavor. I also liked the beef shank, crispy chicken, scallion oil noodles from the appetizer menu. My friends liked their passion fruit soda drink as well They have a friendly service. Food comes out fast. Really glad to have found this hidden gem. Will visit it again if we are in the area.

My party of 4 visited Wu's Fish House on a Friday evening around 6pm. We were seated right away and there were a few tables occupied in the restaurant. Their menu offers a wide variety of fish dishes, prepared in different ways, along with some small dishes, and ramen noodles. It is located on the second floor of Festival Plaza (Heart Plaza), so parking may be difficult at times. We ordered the Crispy Fired Chicken and Spicy Beef Shank as appetizers and the Spicy and Sour Fish Soup with Pangasius (Large), Squirrel-Shaped Branzino with Sweet and Sour Sauce, and Black Cod Fish Noodle Soup. The stand out dish was the Fish Soup, which was prepared with a savory fish broth complemented with pickled vegetables, bamboo shoots, white radish, tofu skin, enoki mushrooms, and shrimps. It was nice to be able to customize the soup with our desired level of spiciness, numbness, and sourness. + 20% off select Spicy and Sour Fish Soups during the weekdays

The ambiance is warm, friendly, and inviting, perfect for a nice lunch or date night. This was my daughter's first fine dining experience, and she absolutely loved it. We started with the oysters and calamari. The calamari was light and crispy, cooked perfectly, and the grilled oysters were flavorful--especially with the garlic Parmesan. For our entrees, we had the seafood paella and penne vodka. The portions were a nice size, and the paella came with colossal shrimp that were so good. Everything was well-seasoned and satisfying. They also offer mocktails, which was a great touch. Overall, we spent about $120 on appetizers, mocktails, and entrees, and it was well worth it. No complaints at all--definitely a spot I'll be returning to. Great for a date night or a special outing.

They were running late since the whole front was full of people not seated. We ordered within 10-15 mins, however were told that they were out of a Mother's Day special and bread. BREAD! The excuse from a manager was that they ordered fresh bread from a vendor. What I gathered is that they did not take a look at their reservations, and decided not to order more to accommodate everyone. Mind you, it was only 7pm. The people behind us had been complaining of not getting their food, which should've been a signal. All around us, no one was getting their food, and the food coming out of the kitchen was sparse. Pretty sure they overloaded the kitchen staff, and the waiters took the heat because all I heard/saw was them apologizing for the long wait. If you ordered drinks or raw seafood, you got that ok. Otherwise, you would be SOL. We did not get any food until 8:20!!! And that includes our appetizers. Our entrees came out about 10-15 mins later because our waiter put in everything so there was no downtime. This included hungry children, which was just basically Mac and cheese, which we needed to be reheated cause it was so watery. All we got from the manager was a sorry. Even after we told them that this was bad managing of food service, number of reservations, etc. They did not offer any discount for the wait of our reservation or food. No 'hey', here's a complimentary dessert. Nothing but "sorry". Seems like a money grab that night. After spending $500-$600 on a very lackluster meal, which I feel many patrons that night felt, I would highly suggest spending your money elsewhere.

Our party was situated downstairs at a nice round table. This really helped us share the seafood tower and pass clams around. Our group ordered the small seafood tower, and it was everything I could have dreamed of. It had a little bit of everything. The presentation was flawless. I am still in awe of the lobster. Dinner was also very good. Just about everyone ordered something different, and we left pretty happy. The only issue was the music. I don't know if this is the case for the entire restaurant, but the downstairs had bouncy ukulele covers for the entirety of our time there. It was also a bit too loud. I felt like I had to get up to hear someone sitting a few people away from me, or speak too loud to for shared space because there's a bouncy ukulele covers of Without You by The Kid LAROI. (No, that's not an embellishment. That actually played.) All in all, we had a great time, great food, in a beautiful space. Natalie was a very attentive service. But please, maybe some different music?

I visited Steakhouse 85 for the first time on Thursday, March 19th. We all know the food is fantastic, but what impressed me even more was the employees. When I walked in, I was greeted by the hostess, who had a big smile and bright eyes. She showed us to our table swiftly, and during our time there, her smile and warm welcome continued as she greeted other incoming diners. Our waiter appeared quickly with the first question would you like something to drink, water, etc. After the initial greeting, and now ready to take our order, he excitedly told us he had the pleasure of tasting most of the items he suggested. His excitement about the food he had the "pleasure of tasting" (his words) was apparent. Also, I had the pleasure of speaking to Monica, a manager at Steakhouse 85. She was kind, thoughtful, insightful, and well spoken. I could easily see why she holds that position and could have talked to her as I would a good friend. How a great manager like Monica gets those around them to react positively is by example; in other words, it's the ripple effect. It is easy to see that she is the type of person who, no matter what she does or where she goes in life, success will follow. Also, I want to say thank you to the owner and all the managers because hiring the right employees, from the cooks, busboys, and servers, is not an easy job in itself. The key to success is not just about the food; it's also the employees who add to the establishment's success! Great Job To All Of You! Kindness should never be taken for granted these days! Frances
