The repairs were a cinch and the took care of them quickly. The mystery was solved. There was a minor hiccup where they had to return to clean up some stuff because the old grout had soaked in more water than expected, causing some of the new grout to run, but the were quick to return and do that touch up for us. There are companies that will clean and reseal the grout but I had a feeling that wasn't going to solve the problem. After consulting with Dan, it was clear that what was needed was a complete re-grouting. Dan and his crew tackled this project, doing a re-grout of the floor and ceiling in addition to some areas along the walls. All of the tile was cleaned as well.
