Although there were a few missing components when we opened all of the packaging containing the cabinetry, Brian made sure everything was as it should be in the end and got me everything I asked and paid for with no argument. He even made a few deliveries himself. Brian was professional, extremely knowledgeable and helpful when I had questions or concerns. He had me come up to his office / warehouse location to look at some examples of what United had to offer, which I would recommend others do as well. He "always" responded back to me when I sent an email or called even when he was ill or on vacation. He explained things when I didn't understand so I could contemplate what I wanted, and we could go forward from there. When the remodel was complete, Brian and his colleague, Jade Hemmings, came out with a professional photographer (at my convenience) and took photographs. Jade made sure I was given copies of the photos taken, which was sincerely appreciated. Our experience with Maria and her employees at European Stone & Tile ranks with the very best. My wife and I walked in the door of European Stone seeking ideas and help with modernizing a kitchen that was last updated about 20 years ago. The last update created one serious flaw we discovered when we replaced the dishwasher. The dishwasher and stove are at 90 degrees to each other and 12" apart limiting the available stoves to only a few and none of those appealed to us. We had given up on replacing our appliances but decided to just update the surfaces. Then we met Maria. She came to our home and measured our kitchen then asked us to come to her showroom to see the choices we'd have in surfaces. We had replaced carpets last year and she showed us things that fit well with our other rooms and surfaces. We chose those we liked and set the dates for the work. After sleeping on the project I decided that the dishwasher had to be moved before we did the countertops. I discussed this with Maria the morning her carpenter arrived expecting to perform an hour task to remove a breadbox that was fastened to the old counter. I called the office and asked Maria to take on moving the sink base to the space occupied by the dishwasher and replumbing the water lines and drains to work with the new layout. This was a significant last-minute change that would have caused other suppliers I've worked with in the past to have emotional meltdowns. Not Maria. She took a minute to consider what she could do and then told me in a cheerful voice, "It won't be a problem. I'll need to rearrange our schedule, but we can do it!" She asked me to hand the phone to her carpenter (Ron) and she asked him to take on the job. Fortunately, it turned out that Ron is a Master Carpenter and former General Contractor capable of doing the electrical and plumbing work. He removed the old countertops, opened the walls and rerouted the plumbing and electrical, restored the walls, moved the old sink base to its new location and assisted in creating the template for the new countertops. His craftsmanship matches the finest we've experienced. Ron managed to complete this major work revision inside the original schedule, so that our kitchen was completed, including new countertops and tile, on the day we were originally promised. In addition to Ron, six other European craftspeople (counter installers, plumber, tile setter) came to our home to perform work. Every one of them was cheerful and friendly. They were considerate of my wife and I and involved us in decisions whenever their work options were not obvious. They never left the worksite without cleaning the area and left no construction residue inside or outside our home. Their completed work is of the highest quality suitable for custom homes. We also had contact with staff in the showroom/store that matched the considerate and friendly concern for customer experience. This level of care for us as homeowners was unusual in our experience and we attribute it to Maria's leadership as the business owner. She has chosen and trained her staff well. My wife and I are very pleased that we chose to do business with European Stone and Tile and we recommend their work to anyone planning kitchen or bath work.

We met with Christine who was uncommonly knowledgeable, give us a ton of tips and things to consider, as well as let us look through the samples and talk amongst out selves. From there, we went home with a few different samples of LVP and carpet to better understand how each out actually look within the space. Once we decided on the materials, we worked with Jordan on scheduling and installation. The team at Long's are true professionals. Communication on delivery and installation was perfect too. I didn't need to be at the home for material drop off or installation, which made my life so much easier. From there, everything was finished in about 2-3 business days and the work looks phenomenal. On top of all of the above, the were the most cost efficient quote we received from flooring providers. Long's is so easy to work with and the work they do is unmatched.

Total cost: $15,000 Total duration: 2 months…read more Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Alex the owner/installer promised too much and under delivered. He promised 2 days of installation and 7 days of logistics. It took over two months for him to finish the kitchen, and a total of 7 visits to our property requiring us to take many days off work or to have to ask family or friends to be present every single time. Here is the list of major issues with our installation: 1.He never verified the dimensions we gave him for our kitchen. We measured the entire room, including ceiling height, where the window was, full blown layout. He confirmed that all dimensions were good and nothing needed to be changed. That resulted in size cabinets, and tight space for stove and microwave. Not even an 1/8" so our cabinet doors drag on microwave panel and is chipping the door away. 2. He did not open the shipment before he started the installation. He received only 40% of the material necessary to finish the kitchen so for months, literally months we did not have a Kitchen as he did not do his due diligence like any contactor should do to make sure the material he received was correct and whole. Cooking out of a microwave and cleaning in a bath sink for months, sigh. Just not what I had in mind after a long day at work and a sizable investment. 3. The quality of material is very poor. There is chips and cracks all over the place. Many of the joints are already separating either from bad installation or bad material. 4. He did not communicate with his countertop contractor and did not provide the appropriate dimensions so the stone needed to be modified in our house. Many notches and too much caulking to hide all the imperfections. 5. There was an excuse about everything but no ownership. At the end of the installation, he offered us $250 for delays and lack of performance. That's only 1.6% of how much we paid him, not to mention the days we had to take off of work to be present while he made so many trips to complete it. I strongly recommend you avoid trying to save money. Your sanity is worth more, trust me I made a huge mistake by trusting in his capability as a contractor. Just buy from Costco, at least you can keep them accountable. If I could go back and do it again, I would have gladly paid the $22k to Costco. At least you know they'll do it right.
