I just kept putting it off. But they took care of several things on my car and even found, on the computer that one of the problems was still covered by insurance! Imagine my surprise that I was not charged for it! This time it was new tires and new brakes. Both times they treated me and my son with such personal service.Charlene Newton is the wonderful lady who constantly told us what was needed and answered all questions. The personal service was impeccable--and appreciated. We definitely will be back if needed.

This is really a nice kia dealership. I called to get my brake inspected and talked to neddie in…read moreservice. I was given a VERY competitive estimate. I made a appointment and came in. I was immediately greeted by Allen. A couple minutes later Neddie (Service Manager) came out and shook my hand. Very nice staff. Less than 30 minutes brakes were checked and confirmed estimate given. They have very nice refreshments in the waiting room too. I talked to a salesperson while I was there. Itxel was extremely nice and professional. We road tested a cadenza. Nice car. Even though I did not buy a car there. I will definitely return to this dealership for service.

This review is a continuation of the previous one I wrote about what happened on September 28,…read more2025, where they changed the oil of my car and forgot to secure the oil cap on the bottom and ruined my engine. My car is 2025 and had it for only 2 months and half. The first post was on Google. Today, December 3, I still have not received any response about my car. They had promised to have it ready by November 24. However, on November 25, I made a call that lasted almost an hour, during which I was put on hold and, in the end, they hung up on me and never returned my call. I am truly disappointed by the lack of attention and seriousness given to the situation, even though the issue was caused by them. Although they provided me with a rental car, it's not my own vehicle, and the communication has been poor. Additionally, my health is not good, and I cannot believe I am being treated this way. From the first call to the sales department, every step of the way, our leasing of our new car was organized, prompt, extremely service-oriented, kind, fun, and oddly relaxing. Joe LeDuc, a sales rep, made the entire experience a joy. For the rest of my life, I never want to buy/lease a vehicle from anyone else.

Let me first say that we have now purchased five Volkswagens from various Chicago-area dealerships,…read moreso we are very familiar with the brand and the typical dealership experience. Unfortunately, our experience with City VW of Highland was by far the most disappointing. When purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle, customers expect the dealership to conduct a thorough multi-point inspection, often covering well over 100 items. Based on our experience, I seriously question how thorough that inspection was. Within 10-15 minutes of driving the vehicle off the lot, the oil warning light came on. After getting the car home, I noticed streaking on the passenger side of the windshield and discovered the windshield wiper was held together with electrical tape. We also found stickers on the vehicle's interior ceiling. When closing the passenger door, I heard a rattling noise and later found beer caps and an air freshener can wedged inside the storage compartment. Altogether, these issues added to the impression that the car had not been properly cleaned, inspected, or prepared before delivery. Individually, these issues may seem minor, but together they raise serious concerns about the quality of the dealership's inspection and preparation process. If these obvious problems were missed, it makes me wonder what else may have been overlooked. Normally, the oil warning light would have prompted us to return to the dealership immediately. However, after already spending more than five hours there during the purchase process (on Monday of Memorial Day weekend, not a high-volume day at the dealership) --with little to no hospitality from the dealership beyond access to a vending machine fulled with junk food--we had absolutely no desire to go back. Overall, this experience fell well below the standard we've come to expect from Volkswagen dealerships. The entire process was so frustrating and disappointing that it honestly makes us hesitant to purchase another vehicle anytime soon.
