Great place, I've never had a bad sushi roll here, they are all great. Also the best general tso's chicken I've ever had.

I've really only have gotten take out from them, but the sushi is top notch. When I've picked up my food from there, it's always very busy and it's very nice. Their non sushi items are really good too. Udon noodles and fried rice are really good. Teriyaki chicken is good. Pad tai is awesome. read more

Love, love, love this place. We order from here at least once a week. The rolls are fresh. My favorites are the crazy tuna role which is tuna on top of a spicy tuna roll. The tempura ice cream is also yummy. They are very courteous on the phone and deliver quickly. I've clocked them at 20ish minutes from putting the phone down to the guy showing up at my door (and we're about a mile away). read more

solid asion fusion. we had the sliced duck,which came with a sort of delious asian pasta, shrimp curry which was listed as spicy but was not too hot and pineapple shrimp fried rice. all delicious . skip desert though. the menu came on a seperate printed card and included tiramisu.there isn't enough fusion in the world to make me think it was made there! read more

The sushi is great, and menu offers plenty of variety. There is always an assortment of specials which never disappoints. Last time i had the fresh scallops which was excellent, as was the "Mitch" salad appetizer. There aren't many sushi places left in the neighborhood, but Xaga is as good as it gets. read more

I like this place because it is local and the fish is always fresh! Truth is though, for some reason i feel that the normal spicy tuna roll becomes redundant. There is a specific after taste which gets annoying after the first roll. A bit pricey, but worth it for fresh goods =) read more

Probably the best sushi place in all of the 5 towns (Cederhurst, Woodmere, Lawrence, Inwood, Hewlett). The food is always consistent and delicious. I suggest the tuna sushi pizza, Rocky Shrimp, king spicy roll, and the spicy girl roll. Staff is not the best but the food makes up for it. Usually tables are available but on weekends they are packed so take out might be a better option. Defiantly a 5 star place. read more

I have been going to Xaga for years and I have remain a loyal customer and it. One issue is that during the lunch hour the quality of the sushi is lower because they think that the students coming from the High School won't notice. read more

Nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Good fresh ingredients and tasty meals. I love the hot towel you get upon first sitting down too. They have great deals for lunch specials too for regular rolls. The special rolls can get pretty pricey but overall we are always incredibly pleased with our meals here. Love this place. They have a great spicy tuna so any combo rolls with the spicy tuna is spot on. We also love their ginger dressing on the green salads. read more

I've been ordering out and eating here for the past four years since i moved into the neighborhood from overseas. Im so happy they've expanded and the service has stepped up. Had the teriyaki scallops and steak combo. It was delicious. Xaga just keeps getting better and better.

I have come here many times. The food is okay. I would say their pad thai (veg/shrimp) are standard. The upside is that they make it without eggs when requested. Their sushi is also pretty standard. I would give this place a 3.5. Just bc I have gone other places and it isn't this expensive. I would say their lunch menu is the best for the price and quality of food. I would continue to come here but I wish the prices were a lower. read more

Poor customer service, did not have enough money to tip but was forced to scour my house to find money. Paid 3.50 for smoked salmon that was extremely chewy and tasted like it had been left out of the fridge and or packaging for a couple hours. Never get delivery from this place if you do not have the money to pay tip, especially if you do not want to receive a dirty look like you killed someone by the delivery person. The freshest sushi around by far and you definitely get what you pay for here. The prices are a little higher than others around but the quality definitely makes up for them. Their tuna is so fresh its incredible. Their hot and sour soup is amazing. Very nicely decorated with a modern japanese feel to it. They have a great assortment of sushi. My family gets everything from sushi, salads, lunch specials or dinner entrées. I love their Sweet Potato Roll and also the Avocado Salad. It is a nice atmosphere inside and there is a bar portion of the restaurant if you just want to get drinks. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. I don't think I ever got down to the bottom of my glass of water without someone immediately coming by to fill it up. Lately, we have been ordering out whenever we order from here and they are super quick. read more

The food is very good - the problem, and it's really bad, is that the service is ridiculously fast. Last night, we had the soup, salad, appetizer AND entree all on the table at the same time. And no time to enjoy anything. Someone has to explain to these people that good service involves waiting until a diner finishes the course in front of them before they put the next one on the table. It makes you feel rushed and that their only interest is in getting you out the door as quickly as humanly possible. It's such a shame. If you're looking for a place to truly dine, Xaga is not the place. If you're looking for a fast food, 15 minute experience, this is it. read more
