I was renovating my apartment and wanted someone to come within the next few days. Saulo was a recommendation from someone who had used him and I called. He was free in the afternoon and stopped by at 3:30 for two solid hours of work. My tenant of 10 years did not clean the exterior deck which accumulated enough dust, grit and dirt from the street to fill a small trash bag. Saulo first took a broom to remove the first layer of crud and he put on his mask since clouds of dirt were swirling in the air. Scary. Then he used his carpet extractor to steam off the deck floor, concrete walls and the windows. The water was black as night and now I can actually see the original color of the deck. It was pretty filthy. He also steamed off a concrete floor and two tiled bathrooms which I did not expect. What a great guy! read more

I contacted them by yelp on 9/26/19. The owner responded promptly and gave me an estimate and said his staff was on vacation. We scheduled for 10/14. But nothing happened on 10/14. 10/15, I get texts from Xavier saying they are coming that day. But the text refers to a wrong address in different part of the city. After several delayed and frustrating texts, with me sending screenshots of prior communications AND with me offering to cancel work to rush home to meet them. No one showed up or even followed up. 10/16, I again contacted the owner via yelp, reciting prior communications and what happened with the no-show. He again promised to come out but asked me to communicate with him by email? I agreed and did so, restating for the third time what service I require and what they quoted me with screenshots of prior communications. 10/22, I get an email from some one named Priscilla, not Xavier, to tell her what service I need?!?! Meanwhile, on 10/20, while being ignored with no response with Xavier cleaning, I contacted Bay Area Carpet Master, who already came out a did a spectacular job on my rugs and sofas. So bottom line, I got awful service, totally unreliable responses, no follow through, tons of wasted time and energy, and lots of frustration. I DO NOT recommend these folks! read more

Xavier might be a great cleaning service. In fact, he's the only service my landlord would accept when he strongarmed me into hiring a cleaner. So my landlord can write him a glowing letter. I on the other hand will NEVER KNOW how good they are because they one, accepted the cleaning job and then two, proceeded to cancel because it was more important to watch Brazil win yet another victory at 7am against the formidable opponent of the Cote d'Ivoire. Canceled. I am not kidding. It isn't even a final game and he has plenty of time to sober up and clean late in the day. We are cool with pretty much if he wanted to clean by the light of the moon. But he called up and canceled. Just don't take the job, buddy!! These games aren't like a friggin SECRET!! I would say the job was not done properly since I was still able to see the dogs hairs and the carpet smelled dogs. Ended up renting carpet cleaner machine from homedepot. I used this carpet cleaning & general cleaning service this morning and it went well. I was nervous about orchestrating the whole thing as I have never before had professionals come in to clean my apartment but I'm getting new roommates and I really wanted things to look top notch for them. Xavier was very very nice & he ran early. He sent me text confirmations a few days beforehand when I checked in with him. He worked with me to figure out a way to run his van-based steam cleaner up through the window into my third floor apartment even though the parking situation was challenging (I really appreciated this, as a lot of other services I called while doing research just blew me off when I said there was only street parking surrounding my building). His price also seemed like a great deal as compared to other services I got quotes from. $140 for the carpet cleaning and $25/hour per cleaning person (I had two). This was a big splurge for me because I usually take care of household jobs myself, but I can already see it was well worth it. I was referred to Xavier from my realtor. He is VERY nice and does a spectacular job. I called at 10AM, he showed up at 3PM on the same day. To clean a 1400 sq. ft home, it took him approximately 2 hours. After years of abuse, the carpet stains were SO GROSS. Xavier removed probably about 80-90% of it. It looks almost brand new. The worst - bar none! Saulo Xavier was recommended to me by someone at my complex. I called Saulo a month in advance, because I needed a moveout cleaning and wanted to ensure I had an appointment scheduled that wasn't going to slip. He responded in a timely manner and indicated that he could also clean my bedroom carpet along with the moveout cleaning. He seemed to have trouble getting the day correct that I needed the cleaning; he also would never commit to a time on that day - he just said sometime in the morning. That made me a bit nervous. I contacted him a little less than a week before the scheduled cleaning to verify the appointment. He responded by saying he couldn't clean the carpet, because his machine was broken. I wasn't pleased being told that so late in the game, but kept the moveout cleaning appointment with him. In the meantime, I attempted to find another cleaning service and was unable to. I had to scramble to find another carpet cleaner and was able to. That was a blessing, since I have read now how Saulo does substandard carpet cleaning as well. Saulo finally agreed to 8:30am on the cleaning day. I was still apprehensive about him for some reason. I sent him two texts a few days before the appointment to verify the 8:30am arrival with no response. Then, on the day of the service, his daughter (supposedly) contacts me and indicates that she is going to clean - not Saulo. It was the most ridiculous cleaning I have ever seen. She did absolutely no cleaning in the bedroom. In fact, I left for a bit and when I came back, she was in the bedroom closet on her phone! She did not clean the oven. She said my toilet was leaking and left some toilet paper on the bottom of the base with a yellow stain on it. The stain must have been from her cleaner, because there was absolutely no leak from my toilet. It was truly unbelievable what was going on. I told her not to use water on my floor and she kept ringing out the cleaning pad with water - soaking it and then cleaning my floor with it. She also kept stepping on the area of the floor she had just cleaned to return to the sink to put more water on the pad. I was just in awe. The cleaning took so long and very little was done. The balcony wasn't touched. This woman also couldn't maneuver her cleaning cart easily and hit me hard on my foot on her way out. She actually injured me. I could barely walk on my foot the next day and many days after that! I offered to pay her after she was done. I actually just wanted her out to finish what she had not cleaned. She said that Saulo would collect the money once he returned from his vacation! Today, Saulo contacted me - more than two weeks after the cleaning and told me I owed him $200.00. I requested that he lower the fee and explained why. He responded saying "life has a cruel way to turn on our heads What evil we do to others. Please don't cheat on poor Housecleaner's. It brings you bad karma." That is word for word his text! He said he shouldn't have accepted my job, because I had text him multiple times prior to the cleaning! Hmm... I wanted to verify the appointment and wanted to know what time he was going to show up. (I had a bad feeling about him and I should have trusted my instinct.) And then, Saulo never shows up! His supposed daughter does. In closing, this man is the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever done business with. He has the attitude that we, as customers, all owe him something (for nothing)! And his cleaning service is completely substandard. And possibly he should stop cheating his customers! I am really surprised he is still in business and most of all, I am surprised someone would actually recommend him. I will make sure I spread the word about this service and his attitude. Xavier did an awesome job of steam cleaning the carpets at my parent's house (45th Ave and Clement). He arrived on time, gave me an honest assessment of what can and cannot be done, and then delivered a beautiful carpet that looked new again. I had another contractor come in to give me an estimate on some window treatments, and even he remarked about the amazing quality of the job (he saw the before-and-after carpet). I called a couple steam cleaning outfits on Craigslist, and they were all call centers that were dispatching local affiliates. Not Xavier - he is the owner and does all the steam cleaning himself. I am on the 4th floor inside a secure access condominium and Xavier still found a way to get his hoses & equipment in & out without causing any inconveniences to neighbors. Do NOT use this service! I have never been treated so rudely by any service people anywhere. They were at our condo building washing windows in the unit above ours and absolutely dripped their dirty water all over our windows which we had very recently paid to be cleaned. When I tried to ask him if he could help with this problem he literally ran away from me and wouldn't answer at all. Please understand these windows have been successfully cleaned before with no dripping and streaking issues, therefore it must be due to their poor methods and very sloppy work! I really wanted this company to work because they did a great initial cleaning (when they were paid by the hour), but when it came to the weekly cleanings, the staff got less and less detailed and came for shorter and shorter lengths of time each week. I stayed home two days to observe them, including the amount of time they spent (they said they would clean for an hour and 20 minutes each day but on the last day before I fired them they were only here for fifty minutes and one girl of the three girls was only here for 35 minutes). When I asked their boss Precilla about it, she said the girls told her they were there for an hour and 20 minutes! That was a blatened lie because not only did I open the door when they arrived and watch them leave, my security system also supported this! When I politely brought this to Precilla's attention, do you think she apologized or recommended a way to make this right? NO! She text me back with a "take it or leave it" attitude even though I told her I'd pay the full weekly rate as long as her team committed to staying the full one hour and 20 min and do a good job going forward. They didn't do a good job. On their last day I asked them to vacuum the living room twice because they missed big sections of the room (and I only live in a 600 Sq flat...so not sure how this is even possible). When I mentioned this to Precilla she said it's best that we don't work together anymore. She's absolutely right that we won't and I hope nobody else does either. read more

I let him come to the house while I was away because he seemed very nice and honest. *After* cleaning the room, very badly, I got a $100 invoice. I'd have been happy to pay a little more than quoted if the work was good but the room was simply not clean. I called to discuss but he was confrontational. I wish Saolo would have offered to come back and finish the job -- that would have been the professional thing to do. I was very pleased cost me $120 which included using the high power cleaning unit from his van. I did vacuum and put my furniture away where possible which I recommend to anyone. I just had another company out here to clean the rugs of this place I am subletting which were filthy and disgusting and their hose broke and couldn't finish it. I called Xavier which is just down the road from me and he came right over. He is actually here right now finishing up the job. And from the looks of the carpets that he just did there is a 1000% difference. Too bad I can't post on here the before and after pictures for the carpets. You would just die. He did a good job but when I mentioned that I found him on Yelp he said that there was a minimum of $100 to get the $30 off so because it wasn't $100 it would be $90.
