I had a confirmed appointment for 12noon on Friday 3 October. I waited until 12:30 to call to see when I should expect them. Nobody answered the phone. I called again at 1pm, again no answer. I am a senior on a budget and use Groupon when available to save money. I was hoping to get a phone call from someone apologizing for having me waist my day waiting for them or to explain why they failed to show or call. I didn't get a call, I'm hoping they didn't have an emergency, that's the reason I said maybe regarding recommending this business. I've had my Groupon refunded and have since found another provider. After our usual mobile car wash company decided to close, I found this business online. I like that you can view their services and schedule a date and time online very conveniently. Of note, you also pay in advance on the website as well. The assigned technician had an emergency on my originally scheduled date and time, but he texted me and offered to come the following day which worked fine. He arrived on time, and the wash took an hour or so. He did a great job! The car looked great inside and out, and he seemed to have good attention to detail. I don't ever write reviews but the way this company operates is unacceptable. I booked a car detailing package with Xcellent Touch through the Booksy app totaling $144.00 on 5/16/2023 at 12:30pm. When I woke up that morning I saw it was slightly raining outside so at 7:12am I cancelled the appointment because the Booksy app didn't give me an option to reschedule. I went on vacation and then 3 weeks later I contacted Xcellent Touch to reschedule the original appointment. I did not want a refund, just the services I pre-paid for. I attempted to contact them numerous times over the course of a few days and received no response. Finally, I got a text message back saying they apologized for a delay in response but they had to replace their receptionist so they were behind on checking messages. I explained I cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time becuase of the weather. They rescheduled me and gave me a new appointment...or so I thought. They followed up again asking what services I paid for and told me that since I cancelled within 24 hours of the appt I did not receive a refund. I told them I did not want a refund just to reschedule. The morning of my rescheduled appointment I attempted to call and text to confirm the appointment address and received no response, unsurprisingly they were a no show to the appointment as well. The next day I followed up with another text, this time asking for a refund since they did not show up nor did they respond to my prior text. I then received an immediate reply via text saying that no refund would be given as I violated their cancellation policy. They explained that it was only cloudy that day and that they detailed other cars, insinuating that I had no right to delay my service despite my concerns about the weather. I told them ok and that I would contact my credit card company and leave a review on Yelp/Google. They told me to not threaten them with a review but I if I did to make sure I mention how I violated their policy and waited so long to "reschedule". Sad part about all of this is even after the no show appointment, if they texted me back saying they could complete the service at a later date I would've accepted that, because life happens and everyone needs a second chance. I was a returning customer of theirs so to be treated that way is highly unacceptable. BE VERY CAREFUL USING THIS COMPANY. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS LAST MINUTE OR WEATHER DICTATES THAT YOU MAY NOT WANT TO WASH YOUR CAR, YOU WILL HAVE A VERY HARD TIME GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK. I am a regular Groupon user and usually the appointments for services go as planned; NOT in this instance. To be honest I really have no idea what happened all I know is I purchased a Groupon for an ultimate wash and wax package for my 2006 Dodge Charger. I was really looking forward to the service as I love my car to look its best. The price was reasonable so I was really happy about that as well. I read the Groupon and even tho it didn't say they accept text messages I tried that first for my initial contact. Needless to say - no response. I then went to their website looked around and thought wow this seems like a really professional operation. The website stated they accepted appointments on line. I wasn't sure if I should schedule an appointment through there because of my Groupon, so I left a message on their website specking a reply. Needless to say I never heard anything from Xcellent Touch. Very disappointed but not yet ready to complain I looked at the Groupon and called the phone number listed. More frustration occurred as there was no LiVE person on the other end just a recorder/message machine asking to leave a message. So, I left a message with my name, number and services requested, along with telling them I have already tried two times unsuccessfully to schedule an appointment. I then waited and waited. In fact I'm STILL waiting for some type of response! I find this unacceptable so I contacted Groupon to advise them of my situation. I also requested a REFUND in Groupon bucks which took a handful of emails and live chatting with Groupon customer service, I still haven't received my refund but Groupon assured me it is coming, What a let down this whole experience has been, not to mention how much time I wasted on this whole process. read more

I received an email confirmation of my appt. Come the morning of my appt, they were a No Show. I called them multiple times. The first time I received a text reply saying it was better to book an appt through their website. I texted back and emailed them. I have received no reply. I asked if he would have time today to squeeze me in for a detail and wash. Sure enough he was able to get me in and get it done quick. He and Bob have a great attention to detail as every nook and cranny of my vehicle inside and out were completely spotless!! They were both very kind and respectable gentlemen, so I did expect a very well done job.. however, what I did not expect is to pay a fraction of the cost I have paid with other mobile and even nonmobile auto detailers. Upon arrival Kay asked me if there were any special areas I wanted to focus on. I pointed out my extremely dirty rims and Kay got right to work. Yes I get they want a 1 hour window but at 2:30 the guy calls and says he is not finished with previous app. yet. I wasted most of an afternoon. But decided to reschedule for early morning. Found a groupon for this company and reached out to make sure they had availability and then I purchased the groupon. Scheduled appointment via text but it was missed, company did not follow up to let me know or even to reschedule. I contacted them after waiting a few hours and was informed that the detailer could not gain access into my gated community even though I gave them the gate access information via text message. They then said they were unable to contact me when they arrived, mind you, my entire conversation to this point has been via text message so they had everything via message including my phone number. The scheduler informed me that they weren't notified about this issue. Having the groupon already, I rescheduled for the following week since they had no earlier availability. The following week, they again did not show up on time. They messaged 15 minutes after the appointment to request reschedule due to the possible rain over the next few days. I informed them that the outside was not my concern and that I mainly needed the interior done. They said that they would have a detailer out about 1.5 hours late which actually turned out to be nearly 3 hours late. Thankfully, I had no plans and was able to wait around all day for this company to finally complete the scheduled detailing. I will never use this company again. read more

Hired them to detail and wax my van. They hosed out my interior floor, leaving puddles; had to vacuum and wipe down later. Found a small part from the interior laying on the ground, and later noticed a button missing from my dash. Had to ask twice to get the wheel wells cleaned. I really liked the convenience of booking through their app, it was simple and I got a confirmation for my detail. The young men were late however, they did call and let me know that they were running behind at the appt before me. Which I did appreciate. They took approx. 3 hours to detail and shampoo my entire van and I was very happy with the results. I couldn't give the full 5 stars because they were almost an hour late and drove off with my keys so I had to wait for them to bring them back before I could leave.
